I don't even know where to start! From the very beginning when Andrew walked us through this gorgeous venue, we were sold on having our wedding weekend here. Throughout the entire booking and planning process, Andrew supported us, answered all of our questions promptly, and worked with our budget as we solidified everything for our special day. I would whole heartedly reccomend having your wedding or next big event at the Historic Woodlawn Estate. Being able to execute multiple wedding events over the weekend at the same place was so incredibly convenient and special. The property and its spaces are top-notch and kept pristine. Absolutely phenomenal across the board. HIGHLY recommend!

Andrew was a pleasure to work with from initially touring the venue, to keeping in touch, to setting up the day before our wedding exactly how we wanted it. Lets talk about inside of the home for a second, clean, beautiful design and accommodating for my wedding party and family. The property is truly beautiful and well kept, the venue is very accommodating for small and large weddings. Historic Woodlawn will always have my heart!

The Historic Woodlawn Estate is a uniquely historic venue for a wedding experience unlike any you'll find in our area. The 157 year-old estate, the crown jewel of Woodlawn is set in middle of our 900 acre farm right on the Mason/Putnam Co. lines on rte. 817 with beautiful views for miles. Woodlawn is where wedding memories are made. The stunning red-brick mansion features a wrap-around porch, white columns, and manicured grounds, as well as our 40' x 60' White Wedding Tent
just off to the side of the Estate resulting in a classically elegant ambiance perfect for any celebration. Historic Woodlawn Estate is situated on a 900-acre farm with views of the Kanawha River, rolling hills, and roaming cattle, making it an idyllic countryside escape. The original brick house was built in 1867 and fully restored in 2019, resulting in a beautiful historic home that features every modern amenity needed to host your event. The house sleeps 10 and includes a glamorous dressing suite for the wedding party to use for getting ready and relaxing. You can host a memorable outdoor ceremony on the sprawling lawn or under our recently constructed 40' x 60' aluminum framed wedding tent. Our front lawn features a paved aisle and a beautiful trellis arch, providing a stunning backdrop for exchanging your vows. After, enjoy a cocktail on the picturesque patio before heading to your reception space. The Historic Woodlawn Estate team strives to help you bring your wedding vision to life. The house features a full kitchen for your caterers' use, and venue rentals include 48 hours of access to all the spaces on the property, including the lawns, wedding tent, patio, house, and indoor and outdoor bar areas. No matter which package you choose your rental includes up to 300 of our white resin wedding chairs as well as 42 - 6' rectangle tables.

toric home is breathtaking! The girls were able to stay in the home the night before the wedding and all got ready for the big day right on site! The house is large enough for all the groomsman to also come out the morning of the wedding to get dressed in the wine cellar and not see the girls! I can’t wait to see the professional photo’s that were taken inside the magnificent home! The grounds are immaculate and Andrew Stevens the event manager was amazing to work with, he was always available for questions and details! I can’t express enough how happy we were with this venue!!

You can’t beat the historic charm of the main house along with its gorgeous outdoor space. The venue is set up in a way that made transitioning from the ceremony to the reception seamless and easy for myself, guests, and vendors. I highly recommend this venue not only for the pure beauty of the estate, but for the exceptional service that you’ll no doubt be provided. I wouldn’t have wanted to get married anywhere else!
