This business is proudly run by certified officiant and seasoned entertainer, Steven Carroll. This minister aims to connect with couples and happily wed them under the banner of love.

He strives to treat your big moment with the utmost professionalism, making it completely personal to your love story. Hitch & Spin offers a variety of packages based upon your wedding requirements. Steven can perform customized ceremonies that include personalized vows, religious readings, and funny family anecdotes. In addition, this officiant also has years of experience in DJing and MCing special events. Once you’ve tied the knot, Steven can take to the decks and flawlessly showcase your love story through sound. For further convenience, Steven has previously planned many special events and therefore can assist you throughout the planning procedure

We loved using Hitch & Spin for our wedding! Steven was super helpful, accommodating, and flexible with us! From the very beginning of gathering details for our wedding, down to the closing of our special day. We really wanted someone who had heart, and wasn’t just ‘another dj’.
We wanted someone who could share our vision and intwine our love story in the unfolding of the night, someone who had sincerity of heart, was intentional with us in planning our day, was professional, and loved what they do as a dj artist/wedding day curator, and we found that in Steven!
He was heaven-sent! We where very happy with the turnout of our wedding and we’re so grateful to have met Steven. Everything turned out perfect

Steven is the best! He met with us several times throughout the months and weeks leading up to our wedding day to make sure we were all on the same page. He is super helpful and is so easy to communicate with. He made sure all of our details were just right and our day ran smoothly! We had multiple compliments on how well he ran the reception and “controlled the crowd” to make sure it was a fun night for us all! I really can’t say enough about how much fun Steven made our reception! He would be an asset to any wedding day!
Steven met with us virtually multiple times before the ceremony so we had a great rapport day of. He was very thorough in preparations, and his officiant / dj skills are excellent!

We hired Steven as our DJ and emcee for our wedding and he was AMAZING! He met with me a couple of different times to of course talk about certain songs I wanted to play but also to answer any questions I had! He helped me pick out songs when I told him the vibe I was going for! He asked me about songs in certain parts of my wedding day that I hadn't even thought of that definitely needed a song! LOVE him and would definitely hire him as a DJ again!

We hired Steven to be our DJ and emcee for our wedding. He did a wonderful job throughout the process! The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception went wonderfully, and he ensured everything was just how we wanted it. he day, and even though it was a little windy everything went great. Your music choices for the cocktail and dinner were so good, and it was great to see all of your friends and family hit the dance floor too. We had more out there than we anticipated too. Steven provided an absolutely seamless experience. It started with the multiple planning meetings where he got to know us and discuss what we were looking for. The ceremony and reception was expertly done. Many guests (and even the venue) commented on his expertise, kindness, professionalism, and energy that he brought. Finding an officiant for our eclipse wedding in April was stressful since we started looking late in the planning process. We feel so fortunate that we found Steven!
Steven was an absolute joy to work with from start to finish.
When we first reached out, he was able to get on a call to discuss our vision for the ceremony right away. He guided us through the process of finalizing our script with great suggestions while making sure it reflected our personalities and relationship.
On the day-of, Steven arrived early and had everything ready to go. He delivered the ceremony beautifully - his words were heartfelt, personalized, and kept the perfect tone for our wedding. His calming presence, professionalism, and genuine care for couples is unmatched. We cannot recommend him enough as a wedding officiant!

Steven was amazing! He was extremely professional and showed he cared a lot about his work. We really enjoyed getting to know him over videos calls before the wedding. Steven officiated & DJ'd our wedding! He went above and beyond for me and my now husband and he was amazing at communicating everything. I had several compliments from my family members saying how he spoke so clear and plain so they could understand him. And for our reception and music they raved about how well he did managing announcements and getting people involved with music. He was so involved and did amazing! I am so blessed that I was able to find him and hire him he really made our wedding special!!

Steven did a phenomenal job renewing our vows last month. We were scrambling looking for an officiant 2 weeks before the ceremony. He was highly recommended by others. My husband James and I got married 3-23-24 and we could not have picked a better officiant. Steven was professional and kind from the first phone call through the wedding process. He made sure he got to know us as a couple and individuals to make our day that much more personal. Everyone who attended our wedding made comments about how great he was, he even made me, the bride feel at ease when in the middle of my vows, started crying and had to tell myself to get it together and he just smiled and looked at me and said, “you’re doing great!” - He brings such a calming presence to your ceremony and will definitely make it a day to remember. The only thing I regret is not finding him sooner so I could also use him as our DJ. - For anyone looking for an officiant. I give Steven a 100 out of 100!

Steve did a wonderful job with our wedding.... he created the perfect speech for us that hit home.. he put what bible quotes we wanted said beautifully into his speech we couldnt even tell him to change anything once we read it!!! We even forgot to tell him we wanted a prayer before food, so when the Dj called him up there, he was on the spot and still did amazing!!! He was very respectful and easy to talk to!! Steven officiated our wedding and also was our DJ. Working with Steven was great. We had a few zoom calls before the wedding where we walked through our vision for the day. Steven was attentive to our requests and also checked in periodically as we got closer to the big day. He was even able to provide a translator so that our ceremony could be both in Spanish and English. I would highly recommend Hitch and Spin!

I couldn't reccomend a better officiant for our wedding. From planning to the actual day of the wedding, Steven was right there with us. We had multiple meetings through zoom and he had helped us work through the musical playlists and the wedding schedule. When it had come to the day of the wedding, Steven made every move perfectly. Even down to the photos he was dancing back and forth so the photographer could get the perfect shots. After the ceremony the playlist and the songs were perfectly timed to match the atmosphere. When it came time for the speeches we didn't have to worry about any technical difficulties as Steven had everything ready and working.

Steven was absolutely amazing at our wedding. He made the process so easy and fun for us. We weren’t sure how we wanted to do things and he helped guide us with his expertise. Hes very professional, showed up right on time & got straight to it. We knew Steven was the one when we got our ceremony draft! We both cried reading the vows that Steven put together for us. He truly took the time to understand us as a couple and what we wanted to have portrayed in our celebration.
He was also an amazing DJ & Emcee! He orchestrated a beautiful ceremony for us! I will admit, I am a control freak! Steven went above and beyond to make sure the exact order of songs were played for the ceremony, my walk down the aisle and our exit up the aisle as a married couple!
It was perfect 🥰 He was on point for all the other todo’s during the reception as well.

Steven was a professional through and through! I loved meeting with him prior to our wedding and he did a fantastic job DJing the wedding. My husband and I were able to meet with Steven several times prior to the ceremony to ensure he was able to help bring the vision of our ceremony to life. He is extremely laid back, non-judgmental, and a fantastic listener. He showed up early on the day of our wedding, set up all of his DJing equipment and had everything ready to go for the ceremony. The weather played a bit of a factor in our wedding, but Steven had already connected with me prior to the ceremony with back up plans and even called a couple days before to reassure me that it would all be okay. I loved our up lighting and we all had a great time dancing and spending time with our loved ones. :)
I did not have to stress at all about the flow of the ceremony or reception thanks to Steven. Thank you so much!!

Steven did a wonderful job officiating our ceremony! He sent us an example of a ceremony and we were able to tailor it to be exactly how we wanted it. And he delivered! He was fun to talk with and definitely knew what he was doing.

He was actually excited to be a part of our day and made me feel like he was throughout every step. He was patient with me and is the kindest soul. One of those people that make your special day that much better just by being a part of it. Not to mention I gave him an exact time stamp of when I wanted to walk out and he timed it perfectly somehow so that the best part of the song played when my husband turned around to look at me for the first time. Steven is AWESOME! We were truly blessed to have him apart of our special day! He coordinated everything we could possibly think of between our ceremony and reception. His hitchin’ was catered toward our values & his spinin’ was perfect for our party of a reception! He allowed us to call the shots for our day, and was always there to give guidance if we were unsure about anything in between. Other than saying “I do” this was the easiest decision I made about the day I’ve dreamt about. We had guests compliment our ceremony for days and talked about how exciting our reception was. Absolutely perfect!! We had Steven as our officiant and dj! He was so attentive to detail the entire process. We knew we were in good hands after our first phone call.
He made sure our ceremony was perfect, he sent over multiple variations of ceremonies and we got to pick and edit our favorite to make it special for us. He stepped out of the picture for our first kiss and had a microphone so everyone could hear the ceremony.
Steven was the BEST DJ ! He had speakers set up outside and inside our venue and special lights he put up as well. Sound quality was great and he got guests on the dance floor !
While we were running around with our photographer after the ceremony HE EVEN MADE OUR DINNER PLATES ! He truly made our day go so smoothly and at the end of the night he really felt like family. 100% recommend everyone loved him!

Steve was an amazing officiant and DJ for our wedding. He was organized, easy to work with, and had a variety of ceremonies to choose from and was willing to adjust any parts as needed. He also had all of his own DJ equipment set and ready to go and knew exactly what to say. I don't think anyone else could have done better. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed ever minute of work with Mr.Carroll. He made every detail perfect, from the vows to the music. He really took the time to see our vision and get to know us as a couple and made it come true. The ceremony was perfect for us and the reception was live. We even had a horrible storm come through and some rearranging had to be done. Steve was professional and calm through it all and the party continued. Steven is one of the biggest reasons our ceremony was so memorable. I contacted quite a few officiants looking for someone who could perform a traditional hand fasting ceremony… most were not familiar or really seemed that interested. The second I found Steven and spoke to him about our dreams of a handfasting ceremony he shared in our excitement, and even grew our vision. The amount of research and preparation he showed was incredible. He exceeded our expectations! Our guests were beyond impressed with our ceremony he put together. I heard all evening it was the most beautiful ceremony they have been to.
On top of all of that it was raining on our big day. So it was a bit stressful, we still were married outside and Steven went above and beyond to make sure it was everything we wanted. Once we got to the altar with him all the stresses of the day melted away with his words.
We are so grateful for him and all the work he put into our big day. Truly if you are getting married soon and looking for the perfect addition to your memorable ceremony, it’s Steven.

Steve is a great guy, and has such a warm personality that you immediately feel like he's a friend. He did a beautiful job officiating our ceremony.
He also was our Dj, providing the ceremony music, and reception music for us. Seamlessly playing our music and standing next to my husband as I walked down the isle. He also was gracious enough to help corral guests and lead them to the reception area after the ceremony.
He was like three people all into one. He did it so well, you never could tell. Because of how well he multitasked.
I don't think my day would have gone as smoothly and beautifully as it did, if it weren't for Steve.
And, I highly recommend choosing Hitch and Spin (genius) for your wedding.
Steven was absolutely amazing the entire process. From The moment I contacted him, to after the wedding was over. We felt like we gained a friend and not just someone we had a contract with. He was so funny and nice. Not only did we love him, but our wedding guests did too! They loved the ceremony and what he wrote, saying it was the perfect length and speech for the occasion. Everyone also enjoyed the music and feel he set for the reception! We did not have a day of coordinator and he was amazing with keeping things on track. He was always considerate and understanding too. His way of business just reassures you that you made the right choice. I would recommend him to anyone in the area looking for either a officiant, dj, or even more so- both!
Steven is an incredible officiant, pre-marital counselor, and person! He is so down to earth, relatable, professional, and fun. We truly could not have had a better officiant for our wedding. We felt like we had known him for years. He gave freedom with preparing the ceremony, and he was just so supportive throughout the entire wedding process.

Steven was great! He checked in with us during the process and let us know exactly what we would be needing and educated on how everything works from ceremony to marriage license and everything! His voice is calming and trusting it’ll calm your nerves for your big day. He listens well and adds advice to help make things sound better and executed everything perfectly. He arrived super early to calm my nerves the day of(I’m the bride) and it helped so much. Steven did such an excellent job the day of our wedding, even arrived really early to ease my nerves to make sure everyone and everything was in its place. He always checked in through the process to make sure we had turned in things he needed from us, because with wedding planning..it’s soo hectic! He made the process very easy and educated us on how the process works and what you need to do, I mean I’ve never been married so I wouldn’t know! So it was very nice and extremely helpful he walked us through everything. His speech the day of was so nice and sweet and incorporates the things we felt were important along with his own sweet words.
