Based out of Rhode Island, Hitch Studios is a Wedding and lifestyle photography business here to turn your beautiful moments into timeless memories! From your engagement session, to your wedding day, and all of your major life events after that, we can capture that magic!
Stephanie was introduced to the exciting industry of weddings while working as a second shooter and instantly fell in love with the art of capturing two love birds on their special day! Since then, the goal has been to make you feel comfortable and at ease throughout the crazy process called wedding planning.
The day of your wedding, we will be there from the very first drop of makeup to the endless dancing into the night! We will be dancing right along all of your beautiful guests having just as much fun all while capturing your once-in-a-lifetime moments!
Hitch Studios uses a natural, true-to-life candid style with the dedication to preserve every smile, tear and laugh you share with your loved ones! Each of our packages offer full-day coverage along with an engagement session; they can also be custom designed for any wedding size and budget. A suite of products including photo prints, keepsake photo albums, and wall art can also be ordered for you to treasure forever!

Working with Hitch Studios was one of our best wedding decisions we made. Stephanie answered my initial inquiry within hours and kept that strong communication throughout the entire year. Her energy is contagious and she's genuinely excited for your big day. Her and Peter are both very talented and their photos are stunning. They help ease you into poses without feeling uncomfortable and awkward. Not only did Stephanie bring a confetti popper for the perfect PJ photos, she helped bustle my dress and grabbed us for beautiful sunset photos (even though we were over photos - thank you!). Peter even navigated throughout the hotel to capture the groom's debacle over tying their bowties. I truly can't say enough good things about Hitch, we will absolutely be using their services in the future. xoxo Marybeth & Joe
I could not speak more highly of Stephanie. She is bubbly, communicative, helpful, and incredibly talented! She was so sweet, fun and easy to be around. She made herself known when she needed to be and melted into the background if she didn't need to be seen. Her and Peter were both incredible to work with and I could not be more in love with my pictures. I would recommend her as a photographer every single time.
I highly recommend Hitch Studios if you are looking for a wedding photographer. Stephanie is amazing! She is very nice, professional, and has great communication with her clients. She made the whole process very easy from the first email communication to getting our finished wedding gallery. I also loved that her wedding packages are very reasonably priced. She is awesome at what she does and has a very creative eye which makes for beautiful pictures. If you are worried about how to pose or being photogenic she honestly takes care of all of that! I also need to give a shout out to Peter who was the second photographer. He did an amazing job at helping to capture our special day! Together they made a great team! Steph and Derek you not only captured all of our favorite moments but you also captured so many little hidden moments we will always look back on.
From the moment you both arrived you were poised, professional and helpful. You knew exactly what we were hoping to accomplish for our day and you made it happen. You were everywhere but also nowhere at all which made it feel so natural to us.
Thank you for providing such an amazing experience but even more amazing photos. THE LIGHTING IS UNREAL!!

My husband and I got married 09/20/2024 - a very rainy weekend in New England. Steph & Peter were amazing from start to finish! We originally met Steph for engagement photos and we knew she was a perfect fit for us. Steph was professional and personable, she was quick to command the room for family photos and was so great to be around. She was a blast! Our wedding day was rainy - but Steph and Peter came with umbrellas and were quick to take shots in the rain - photos we'll have and remember forever!
The DAY AFTER the wedding we got sneak peeks (how is she even that quick!!) and they are absolutely stunning. We'd be happy with the small amount of photos she's already sent us - it's hard to believe that there are so many more coming!
If you are considering hiring Hitch Studios for your wedding - do it! You won't regret it. Thank you to Steph and Peter for making our day so special and thank you for the photos that captured such love and happiness that day! We love you guys!
Steph and Derek are truly some of the most talented people we have ever worked with, and I am so glad we hired them to preserve the memories of our special day. I am writing this just days after our wedding, and we have already received a set of "sneak peeks" that feels like a full wedding album! The pictures speak for themselves. They captured our special moments, took photos in an aesthetic I requested, and when we transitioned to dancing the photos make it look like we were at the coolest nightclub on the planet!! We can't wait to see the rest of our pictures and to see our video courtesy of Derek.
On top of that, they are kind with a capital K, especially while I was full on panicking in my bridal suite. Steph personally pinned boutonnieres on my father and brother, talked me off the ledge in the bathroom before I could turn bridezilla on everyone, and they both continued to remind me that my dress looked fine, we were on my time, and to stop and enjoy. During the reception, Steph grabbed a silly photo I had taken at our photobooth and turned it into a detail shot that is one of my favorite pictures.
We will never forget our wedding day thank you to this pair, and we feel so lucky to have worked with them. We can't wait to see the rest of our photos!!

Kind and funny and amazing photographers - Stephanie and her team were amazing to work with! Her and her team were very professional and timely. We got a hundred or so pictures back within a week after the wedding and the rest within a month - I don't know how she pulled that off during the busiest time of wedding season. Videography was also offered to us as part of our package and we are so happy with how it came out! Also, one of the biggest compliments from guests was that they were not in the way at all! Some guests didn't even realize we had photographers there (nevermind 3!) due to how stealthy they were throughout the whole day. Yet during family and portrait photos, Stephanie took charge and was very efficient, making the process delightful instead of grueling. From start to finish Hitch Studios gave us everything we needed and more of the utmost quality! I would highly recommend her and her team for your special day!
We had a difficult time at first finding a photographer that had a style we liked, was within our budget, and had a personality that meshed with ours who we felt we would enjoy working with.
When I found Stephanie/Hitch Studios, I felt drawn to work with her and I’m so glad we did! Her bright, clear, vivid photos are exactly what we were looking for.
She is quick to communicate, organized, and clear about expectations and timelines. She handled my anxiety leading up to the wedding and the planning process well, which isn’t an easy thing!
Her second shooter is her husband Derek, which I feel makes capturing a wedding day on camera sweeter and gets great results!!
She’s great at getting people to all look at the camera and smile together at the same time, as our formal portrait with my husband’s 15 member clan (including an 8 month old baby) achieved this goal.
My mom commented how attentive they were, coming right over when they saw her and her friends trying to get their own cell phone pictures, and accommodated other requests we made as well.
Our photos are all so amazing from the candid action shots, formals, details, and beyond. We are so happy with Hitch Studios. :)
Ps: when Stephanie says she can bustle your dress, she means it! She did it so quick and easy, and that really made everything a lot easier for us!!

I have used Steph as my photographer since I was pregnant with my daughter in 2020, she did my first maternity shoot! Four years later after many shoots with her she gave me the chance to fly her & her husband down to Anna Maria Island for my destination wedding, to shoot and video our special day! They were with us from beginning to end on the wedding day & made our day more special! They are two such amazing people & their skills are out of this world! I am so in love with our wedding album. It really matters to have a photographer you are comfortable with while shooting & they make it just that! I absolutely recommend Hitch Studios for any of your photography/videography needs, I promise they will NOT disappoint!! I booked Stephanie and her husband Derek to take my wedding photos, and let me tell you it was the BEST decision I could have made. They both made me feel so comfortable! They have amazing personalities and we got along right away. I was nervous about hiring a photographer because my wedding was going to be a little bit more casual and low-key, but Stephanie and Derek didn't make me feel bad about it and treated my wedding the same they would any upscale event. I was honestly all over the place and they were able to capture every beautiful moment. They were so tentative without being in my face and they made sure to get all of the shots I wanted. I am a very pale white woman and my husband is black and she did such a great job making everyone look natural in the final photos, especially since some of the lighting during the ceremony wasn't ideal, but that didn't stop her! I couldn't be more happy with the photos I recieved in such a short turn around time and I will be using Stephanie and Derek again and suggesting them to everyone. They are absolutely the best and such a great value! 🥰 Thank you both again so much!

Stephanie is the BEST choice for any and all special occasions (engagements, weddings, family photo shoots). I booked Stephanie and her husband Derek to take photos for my wedding in Newport and I cannot stop looking at how wonderful the pictures came out.
There are so many things to love and appreciate about Stephanie:
1) Her outgoing personality helped drag me and my husband out of our shells and it made SUCH a difference in the pictures. You can tell how comfortable and relaxed we are.
2) Stephanie has an incredible eye for photography and she is so talented - she found a way to make the dreariest, rainiest day look STUNNING. She came prepared - brought a pair of his and hers umbrellas and took absolutely ICONIC rainy day wedding photos. She and Derek were out there in the pouring rain, no complaints, just cheering us on!
3) It felt like every moment was captured. When I was going through my photos from the wedding, it felt like I was really able to relive the day. She was EVERYWHERE, and that's exactly what I was looking for in a photographer.
