About this vendor
As a Gorge bride myself, I know first hand what it means to be “Hitched in the Hood”. While I have planned, coordinated, designed and executed all kinds of different events and weddings over the years, it’s my passion for this beautiful region, and my love for creating handcrafted and personalized events that launched Hitched in the Hood.
As the lead designer and planner of Hitched in the Hood, it is my job to help bring your wedding dreams and vision to life. I make it a point to get to know each of my clients and what makes them unique. This allows me to infuse that personality and story into your big day. We believe that your event is an expression of you and should be reflected in your wedding.

out to Debbie and after talking to her, we knew that she was the one for us! Since we are not from the area, we ended up going with the “month of” package, but it felt like the full package! Debbie and Ashley were great! We met a couple times before the wedding and had a few calls in between. Everything went so well, definitely worth it! Thank you Debbie & Ashley!
Debbie was absolutely wonderful to work with! We were planning our wedding in Hood River while living in San Francisco, and I cannot imagine what we would have done with her. Not o...
nly did she help us find an amazing caterer (Boda's Kitchen), but she was a huge help with designing and managed to put all of our random decor ideas together and make it look beautiful. She also did some DIY/crafty projects for us at a very reasonable rate. Leading up to the big day, Debbie was always quick to respond to emails and answer any random questions we had, and even set up some phone sessions as well. And the actual day of ran seamlessly thanks to Debbie's organization and professionalism.
