able! I was dead-set on having a videographer, because I knew I'd be so emotional on the day I'd have a hard time making strong visual memories. And I was right. Our photos are beautiful, but the video swept me right back into the experience of our wedding day, and it's literally priceless to be able to see it all through Eddie's talented eye. From our first meeting to the final video, every moment of our interaction with Hitches & Unions was fun and inspiring. We're both self-conscious and camera shy, but his energy and enthusiasm swept us up and we loved having him at our little wedding. He's organised, honest, kind, calming and funny, and a master of his craft. He went above and beyond in every way and captured all the magic, love and wonder of the day in a perfect 4 minute story. Considering he squeezed us into the busiest wedding season ever, I can't believe how soon we got the video back. Our cinematic wedding video made us cry buckets of happy tears, and we're going to watch the ceremony tonight, on our 3rd month anniversary, with some champagne. We got the super 8 add-on and it's so special: if you're thinking about it, do it. Everyone I've shown our video to has loved it, and even a friend in the movie industry told me it was absolutely perfect. We love it, and we love Eddie, and highly recommend his beautiful, soulful work to any couple. Thank you so, so much, we'll treasure this forever.

Seriously: This was the hardest of our vendor reviews to write because there just aren’t words perfect enough to describe how absolutely incredible Angela and Eddie are. Angela is your best friend, biggest cheerleader, and just a complete angel - just realized how she was so appropriately named! You truly forget that she’s your photographer, then you get back your photos and wonder how one person can have it all! Literally the biggest heart, the best personality, and THE PERFECT EYE!! And her hubby, Eddie, is a true wizard behind the film! one call getting to know each other, I knew that moment, we needed to book them! There are truly zero words to describe how amazing it was working with the two of them. We had many hiccups on our end in terms of wedding planning and yet the entire time Angela was incredibly flexible and understanding. Our first venue fell through and so we mentioned our new plan and of course without any hesitation she was on board. We then had the big hiccup of the pandemic. With so much uncertainty we let her know that we may need to change our plans again. It wasn't until June that we decided to bump our date up 2 months while things were looking decent in the area. Of course, she completely understood and we locked in our new date with crunch time to plan. There was an instant connection and our engagement shoot went so smoothly. Then on the big day, it was like welcoming our friends back to shoot this epic day. Each and everyone of my friends and family loved the two of them so much and made us all feel beyond comfortable - even those who are generally camera shy. Aside from feeling at ease, the photos from each session blew us away. We were devastated when the day was over because we knew we had to part ways with them. LOL) Eddie went to capture photos with the boys and Angela came where the girls were all getting ready. They were also flexible when it came to the timeline on the wedding day and used their expertise to determine where we should be and when (December wedding = early sunset!!) We were able to capture breathtaking photos on the DUMBO waterfront while the sun was setting. Golden hour epicness!! Both Angela and Eddie seemed to be everywhere at once during the wedding so I know they grabbed some priceless photos; I can't wait to see them!! Speaking of, Angela turned around sneak peek photos within 24 hours which was remarkable. They've truly turned into friends for us. I am going to miss working with them!!! HIRE THESE GUYS! two of the most amazing people I've ever met. From the first phone call with Angela, I knew I had to have her shoot my wedding. My husband hates taking pictures and isn't the best at having them taken (think Chandler Bing during his engagement shoot). Both Angela and Eddie made him feel so comfortable all day and his pictures came awesome!! Angela and Eddie handled every aspect flawlessly, from timing to crazy family members to outfit changes. Shortly after, we met up for coffee to discuss the wedding and it honestly felt like meeting up with an old friend. e been quite as amazing without Angela & Eddie to share the day with (eating pizza in the street, running through the subway after getting yelled at by an MTA employee, the crazy rush to get family photos finished before the most gorgeous sunset disappeared, the list goes on!). My husband and I did not do engagement photos, so the first time we met Angela & Eddie in person was on the big day. Words can’t describe the nerves you feel on your wedding day, and when you throw in having someone you’ve just met following you around with a large camera, it can feel overwhelming. Luckily, Angela is one of the warmest, sweetest human beings you will ever meet. She makes you feel like the most beautiful bride, adds zero pressure to your already crazy day, and is SO supportive of your every need. Eddie spent the first part of the day with my now-husband and his best men, and fit in seamlessly as they got ready… and as my husband paced the entire time. He also spoke so sweetly of his wife Angela and their wedding day – which stuck with my husband and helped to calm his nerves before the ceremony. The wedding ceremony & reception pretty much blur into a total of 10 seconds, but Angela & Eddie captured the BEST images (I want to cry every time I look at them all – they’re silly, beautiful, and so FUN). I also kind of forgot they were there at times (sorry, guys! In the best way!) but they would pop up out of nowhere to grab group photos and ask if there were any other friends nearby to ensure we got as many photo ops as possible, which was so appreciated! In conclusion-while I wish they were our own personal, private photographers, I couldn’t recommend Hitches & Unions more, and wish them the absolute best! Thank you, Angela & Eddie!!!

I highly recommend getting engagement pictures and as awkward as the whole situation can be, Angela and Eddy made it fun and comfortable. I couldn't praise them enough! Out of all of our wedding vendors, we were most excited to have been able to secure Hitches and Unions to capture our wedding and engagement photos. What makes these two stand out is the fact that you can tell that they truly care that you're happy with your photos. They want to capture what's most important to you and make you feel comfortable doing so. Angela is a master at finding the most perfect candid poses whether it's skipping through a garden or holding hands in a lake, she will ensure that your photos are unique, eye-catching and filled with love. We loved how comfortable Angela made us feel during our engagement photos. During my wedding day she captured beautiful moments but she was also a helping hand when needed. Eddie and Angela capture all the traditional wedding poses you could want but if you're looking for laughing, playful and personalized moments, hire them! After 9 hours of shooting we were given over 700 beautifully edited photos that we can't wait to print and frame throughout our house. Bottom line: HIRE THEM - and do it quick! they book fast for a reason!

...I would become. What makes them so great? Well, everything really but for starters, they drove 3 hours just to do our engagement shoot in one of our favorite spots. If that wasn't enough, they both scaled the side of a mountain for us...literally. No, like, really. Rock climbing with photo gear in toe. If that still isn't enough, they stayed out in the 20 degree weather (which felt like 0 on a windy mountain) for hours getting all the photos. Angela and Eddie were not only professional and did what they were hired to do, but they were so easy to be around. They made the whole day fun and exciting. It felt more like hanging out with friends than having hired strangers. They are both genuinely sweet, love donuts and cats, are well traveled and aren't afraid to get down and dirty. There was no shortage of conversation on our 1 hour hike up to the mountain. I could talk about them all day long really, but let me get to the photos. They kind of speak for themselves, but in case there was any confusion...we LOVED them! Each photo was stunning and I had a lot of trouble picking the ones I loved. There was a lot of variety and H&U were there to get all the shots. If it wasn't right, they stayed and kept shooting until it was. We felt extremely cared about and that they loved what they do. There was no time pressure or "one hour standard" time slot that we were shoved into. There is nothing standard about these guys. They are in it with you, whether it takes 5 minutes or 5 hours and it's truly remarkable to be able to have witnessed it. If you are looking for a company who is in it for the right reasons, look no further. I can assure you, you will receive the upmost attention and the greatest of quality for a great price. Their turnaround time is amazing and their communication is on point as well. Working with them was a great way to start off our new adventure together. Since we've gotten our pics back, we use them for everything. We've given them as gifts, on invitations, and on websites. We are very attached to them and the memories we created with Hitches and Unions that day. Bottom line: Book them!
