nside and out, and one of the many reasons we were very glad to have booked the space was because we felt like we needed to add so little - it already looks great, we just incorporated some minimalist table decor and everything was ready to go. Furthermore, the barn itself has multiple impeccably-kept restrooms (including an ADA-compliant one), which can sometimes be hard to find in similar venues. Also, considering we had rain all day, we were glad that our backup rain plan was already incorporated into the booking - no tent rentals or other contingencies needed. It was virtually as simple as moving the chairs out from the tables into ‘ceremony mode’ and then scooting them a few feet back to the tables when that was done. As a result, what could have been a significant headache at many other venues was only a minor adjustment. The only real drawback with the rain was that family & friends weren’t able to enjoy a tour of Angela’s impeccable & colorful garden beds surrounding the barn. On top of everything already mentioned, Angela is super easy to coordinate with, very responsive, and accommodating. She’s also just really friendly and easy-going, which makes stressful wedding planning a lot less so. In the end, we’re so glad we found the Hitching Post. If Angela has availability for your wedding date, book the space as early as you can!

Her vendor recommendations were spot-on and she was able to answer any and all questions we had in the year(s!!) leading up to our special day. You never know what's going to happen with wedding planning, and we dealt with a worst-case-scenario situation when COVID hit after we had booked the barn months prior. But Angela proved to be the most flexible, professional, and kind vendor imaginable. We are so grateful for the way in which she approached things in such an uncertain time, so we can say wholeheartedly that, when you're planning a wedding and need a team that can be flexible and fair, Angela would be an outstanding member of that team. The barn itself is just... breathtaking. There are really no words to describe how beautiful it looked. We got the lighting and drapery package as well and found that it gave the barn that little touch of elegance that swept our guests off their feet. There are also four single-stall bathrooms for guests to use (no lines!!) and the bar area is spacious as well. We were able to use the outdoor ceremony spot, which was PERFECTLY shaded for our 4pm ceremony, and then guests really enjoyed the patio and brand-new porch space during cocktail hour. We had 109 guests and found that the space felt perfectly full but still roomy. Do yourself a favor and book Angela and her beautiful barn for your special day!! Thank you for everything, Angela!!

k up again for a second tour with my mother a few weeks later. Angela was flexible and incredibly kind when we needed to postpone our wedding due to COVID. Her communication was second to none as we navigated rescheduling and abiding by the necessary safety restrictions. We had our dream day a few weeks ago and everything went absolutely perfect. We did have a wedding coordinator, however Angela was there the day before when we were setting up and was available the entire day/night of the wedding. I could not have imagined a more beautiful venue to be married and we were so happy to be able to make such beautiful memories at the hitching post!
