HM Photography is for couples who care more about actually living their wedding day than spending the whole thing posing for photos. I'm Haley, and after photographing 100+ weddings, I've learned that the photos people come back to aren't always the perfectly posed ones. They're your mom trying not to cry while helping you get dressed. Your best friend absolutely losing it during the ceremony. The bear hugs, champagne spills, crooked veils, belly laughs, dance floor chaos and the quiet five minutes you finally get alone together after saying “I do.” That's the stuff I'm looking for. My approach is documentary at heart, with enough direction that you're never standing there wondering what the hell to do with your hands. I'll step in when you need me, help build a timeline that actually makes sense, keep family photos moving, fix the little things nobody else notices and then disappear into the background when the real moments start happening. You don't need to know how to pose. You don't need a Pinterest-perfect wedding. And you definitely don't need to spend your entire day performing for my camera. I want your gallery to look beautiful, obviously. But more than that, I want it to look like your people. Your relationships. Your personalities. The weird little things that could only happen at your wedding. Every wedding collection includes an engagement session, 24-hour sneak peeks and a full professionally edited online gallery with printing rights. Depending on your collection, coverage is available with a second photographer as well. If you want someone who will show up organized, keep things moving when they need to move, laugh with your people and document the hell out of everything happening in between - hi. HM Photography serves couples throughout Peoria, Pekin, Bloomington-Normal, Springfield and surrounding Central Illinois communities, and I'm always down to travel for a good love story.
