Hockridge Florist

I booked hockridge for my wedding on November 28th, 2015. They were very easy to work with and open to any ideas I had. I wasn't to picky about my flowers so they could be any kind of flowers. What I did care about was the color of the flowers. I waned many different types of purple for my bridesmaids and all white for my bouquet with brooches (which I provided) in it. If I ever had a question I could just call and they would be very happy to help me. On the day of the wedding they delivered the flowers and I really liked my bouquet. The flowers looked a little dry but I wasn't complaining. What I didn't like was my bridesmaid bouquet and groomsmen boutonniere. The flowers looked well hydrated and alive but they did not look purple! They looked red! The florist assured me it was the lighting in the room we were in and believed her because it was fairly dim. But once we where out side the flowers still looked more red than purple. I wasn't to happy about that but they didn't look ugly just the wrong color.

The owner Anne-Marie was so informative. I basically just showed her colors and described our venue and she came up with the perfect center pieces and flowers for the bridal part.

They were so nice and helpful when we met for the consultation. I wasn't sure what I wanted yet and they were very patient and helped me pick beautiful flowers. They also helped me stay within my budget and they weren't pushy at all! Great experience!!

When I had my first meeting here they were incredibly nice and we were on the same page with everything! I had thought about doing the flowers myself but transportation and keeping them fresh would have been too stressful. Everything looked beautiful the day of and was perfect.
