We had such a wonderful experience working with Aubrey for our wedding dance! We came in with absolutely no dance experience—we had never learned a choreographed dance or taken lessons before—and she made the entire process enjoyable and approachable.
Aubrey started by teaching us the fundamentals of partner dancing, including leading and following, which gave us a great foundation and made us feel much more confident on the dance floor. She broke our choreography into small, manageable sections, so we were able to build the dance step by step without ever feeling overwhelmed or discouraged.
She was incredibly patient, encouraging, and supportive throughout the entire process, and by our wedding day we felt prepared and excited to perform our first dance. We couldn't have asked for a better instructor and would highly recommend Aubrey to any couple looking to create a memorable wedding dance, whether you're complete beginners or have dance experience. Dancing has always brought me such joy, and I love helping others experience that same joy. When it came to my own wedding, my fiancé had never danced before and was very concerned about what to do with a hundred people watching him. Teaching him our first dance was an amazing experience that brought us closer as a couple. We still do our dance just for fun even though our wedding has long since passed. Our first dance went so well that our friends asked me to choreograph their first dance too. As I watched them smile and laugh while dancing together at their wedding, I knew I wanted to bring that joy to others!

I’ve been dancing my whole life, from solo and group dances as a child to team dances in high school and partner dancing in college, teaching all along the way. Dancing has always brought me such joy, and I love helping others experience that same joy.
When it came down to my own wedding, I knew it wouldn’t sit right with me if our first dance as a couple consisted only of swaying for two minutes. Don’t get me wrong, I’m totally okay with other people doing that if that is what they prefer. It just wasn’t for me. However, my fiancé had never danced before and was very concerned about what to do with a hundred people watching him. We decided he would likely feel much more comfortable and relaxed if he knew exactly what he was supposed to do.
