Julia was extremely flexible working with me to reschedule and made it clear that her client’s safety was her priority. I finally had my session in April 2021, and it was above and beyond my expectations. I was a little nervous, but Julia and her team made me feel comfortable and safe. Julia explained every step of the session, including her COVID safety procedures, which immediately eased any anxieties that I had walking in. Getting made up while sipping champagne helped me get into the right, sexy mindset! When I was finally ready to be photographed, Julia walked me through how to pose. I love that Julia makes the package a full experience in her gorgeous studio- from partnering with a HMUA to get you all glammed up, champs & blasting tunes to release any nerves, to a lingerie and accessories closet to play dress up in- she has it all covered! I felt confident, even out of my comfort zone, and had so much fun that day.
On top of offering a great product, the experience was seamless from my first interaction with Julia on social. She took the time to chat with me and answer a million questions even before booking and leading up to the scheduled shoot day. She will be your hype girl, candid, relatable & easy to talk to. When reveal day rolled around, she was incredibly patient when I was trying to decide which images to pick. It was so hard because she captured so many I loved! Julia and Kevin have an innate ability to capture beauty, light, and emotion with their cameras in such an artistic way that it's as if every picture could be printed in a magazine. I have gotten so many people telling me that our photos are the best wedding photos they've ever seen.

With COVID and CA wildfires, not only was our original wedding plan changed, but our second, third, and fourth plans were as well. olutely BEAUTIFUL job. I am quite pale so it is hard for my foundation to be matched perfectly but JoAnn was able to make it happen for me!
From the get go Julia made me feel so comfortable. Having never done this before it was nice to have her show me each pose. Having an amazing photographer can create a whole lot of difference. Durning the shoot she would show me some of the pictures on the camera and they didn’t even look like they need that much touching up. Let me tell you that takes some skill! She will do anything to get you that perfect picture even if that means having one foot on the ladder and one foot on the couch.

I was asked many times if I liked the way my hair and make up we're turning out And my preference for looks. When it was time to take pictures I was a little nervous but Julia eased my mind by full explaining the process, how she works and how to pose. I felt so comfortable the entire time. as just helping me look like an elevated version of myself, not like a totally different person. I really appreciated the end result, I felt ready for my photos! I was super nervous, but Julia coached me through the whole thing! I showed her a few example photos I had saved and then let her take on the artistic design. First, the music really put me at ease and Julia really talks you through it. It feels like a lot with posing, breathing, and trying to make it work, but I felt right at home after about 10 minutes. And the camera never stops clicking, literally catching every angle and every shot. Julia was kind enough to show me a few shots on the camera and I couldn’t even believe it was me! This totally made me feel even more relaxed and by the end of the shoot, I felt so beautiful and empowered. It was really important for me to relinquish some control and really embrace this experience and I’m so glad I did! If you’re on the fence about this experience, do it! And do it with Julia and her amazing team!

booked a shoot with Julia. And I must say I am SO glad I did! The whole experience was amazing. From the first emails to get more information. I never felt pressured to book and every response was quick. I loved that Julia offered these shorter special sessions, because I wasn't really ready for a super long intense shoot. I'm a graphic designer so I'm super use to being behind the scenes, not being the model.
Having hair and make up included was a life saver too! Our wedding is in central california, so I am not familiar with any local hair and make up artists. So this saved me a great deal of time and stress. At the shoot Julia made sure to take time to show me how to pose to get the incredible pictures that she does. She also made conversation and small talk which really helped someone like me who gets nervous in any sort of social situation.
I can't say enough nice things about Julia and her team. So if your even slightly thinking about it, DO IT! You won't regret it.
