We had a beautiful wedding weekend at Holiday Acres. Our goal was to be able to offer lodging to all of our guests for the weekend of our wedding so that nobody had to worry about transportation. Holiday Acres allowed that to happen. They had a perfect setup, beautiful natural elements, right on the lake, and close to town. Our guests and us had a wonderful time at Holiday Acres and would highly recommend it for a wedding - or weekend away.

Holiday Acres completely outdid themselves for my wedding- absolutely beautiful and flawless day. Carol, Julie, Kim and everyone went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and all my guests and myself enjoyed every moment of the night! Every detail I planned was remembered and made happen, and the food was absolutely EXQUISITE!! I wish I could get married every year, and come here for it!

I had my wedding here and it was absolutely perfect. We had both visited the resort previously and love the Northwoods character. Our goal was to plan an elegant wedding that had all the little details we wanted. We were able to do just that. This was a destination wedding- my husband and I planned the entire thing from across the country. Our families also traveled from all over to attend. We had about 100 guests attend and stay at the resort . The front desk staff did a great job coordinating hotel rooms and cabins for all of our guests. I worked with Kileigh and Gladys to plan a rehearsal cookout, an outside ceremony, a happy hour and reception at Three Coins, and then brunch the morning after. All the events went so smoothly and were exactly what we had wanted. I cannot say enough positive things about all the staff. Kileigh did a great job communicating about how we wanted things to look, and made sure that all venues were set up exactly how we wanted them. The food was also amazing! Our guests could not say enough positive things about it. The service was great throughout the entire weekend. As a bride with all guests attending from out of town, I was worried about making sure people had enough to do to keep them entertained. I also didn’t want to add additional stress to my weekend and try to plan additional activities. The front desk staff really helped with this. Since everyone was able to stay at the resort, they were able to take advantage of all the on-resort activities which kept guests of all ages entertained for a long weekend. Guests could rent boats or fishing poles from the front desk, or get recommendations about about nearby hiking trails and golf courses. Having everyone stay on site also made the actual wedding day so easy! People were able to get food at the resort as they wanted it and no one had to worry about driving between locations. The resort grounds are also gorgeous. We were able to get a variety of wedding pictures along the lake, in the woods, as well as in an open area, all without having to drive anywhere. The resort has so much character and was exactly what we were looking for. I highly recommend choosing Holiday Acres as a wedding venue because it is the complete package; the resort grounds are gorgeous, the restaurant and bar area are elegant and charming, and the staff are wonderful to work with.

Holiday Acres is a beautiful site if you are a bride desiring a Northwoods wedding. The resort grounds are breathtaking in all seasons and the staff is very helpful. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Rhonda the wedding coordinator who helped us every step of the way. We had an outdoor tented reception in October and while you do have to deal with weather conditions, the food and setting of Holiday Acres is worth it. Our weather turned out to be fabulous and I was able to make our reception the elegant event I had pictured by choosing the details I wanted. I highly recommend working with this site! All of our guests have been raving about how great the weekend was, how comfortable the accommodations were and have mentioned how wonderful it was to have a whole weekend getaway at the resort for the wedding.
