though it poured the day of the wedding- the venue is right on the river which is beautiful and provides potential for great pictures. Would definitely recommend the Holiday Inn to anyone in the area.

The Holiday Inn Arena was a great place to have our wedding reception! They customized the menu for us and helped us plan every detail of our reception so that it ran smoothly!

Both the Ceremony and Reception was located in the Ballroom of the Holiday Inn Arena; we sectioned off 1/3 of the ballroom for the ceremony...
and the other 2/3 was the reception. Guest Count was 150
PROS: It was a great place for a wedding! The Hotel just remodeled and it looks gorgeous!!!There is only 1 ballroom, and the Hotel only rents it out to one event a day, so the Hotel has all their attention on your event! The staff was great!! Kris the Food & Beverage Manager was awesome!! Brenda Stolarcyk the Wedding Coordinator was so sweet! We were able to do really anything that we wanted! The food was amazing! All of our guests kept telling me they loved their meal! The Hotel accomadated us perfectly!! We were able to get in there on Saturday (because the Hotel Ballroom was never booked for an event) and decorate, and the Hotel already had the chairs and tables set up for both the ceremony and reception. It was great!! The staff was on hand ready to do whatever I needed done! During the reception they were there during the entire thing making sure everything went as planned! I was also able to bring my decorations (since I did the centerpeices and had the chair covers) a week in advance and that was great that everything was at the Hotel in advance so I knew I wouldn't forget anything!
We also had our rehearsal dinner there the night before in the Hotel Bar & Grill and it was great! again the food was delish and they were there the entire time making sure everything was good!
CONS: The Hotel stay dissapointed me, but just a little. We didn't get a key for our room until 7:30pm!! My husband needed to get into our room to drop off our suitcase for that night and he also wanted to be able to take a shower and everything- the wedding was at 5 and check in time isn't until 4, and we had pictures at 3 so there was no way for him to get in there by 4- and as we were eating dinner at the reception it came to mind that we didn't even have a key for our complimentary room!! but Kris was able to get that to us right away. The only other con I have is that I accidently left my jewelry up in our suite and I called the next day and they said they would have to find it all; then they called me back saying the maid claimed there was nothing left up there but my rhinestone bobby pins, which she said she threw away; well frankly I think she pocketed them!! Good thing the jewelry wasn't real- so I guess I'm the last one laughing ahah
But overall- it was the best decision!!!
