The location is another huge plus. Being so close to the Mall of America made it incredibly convenient, especially for tourists like us who came specifically to visit the mall.

The check in process was smooth and the front desk staff was very friendly. They gave me a choice between daily room cleaning or 500 bonus points if I skipped it so I chose the points. My room was on the sixth floor which is the top floor. The room itself was mostly clean but there were a few minor issues in the bathroom. The bathroom vent was loose and I could not tell if it just came apart on its own or if someone did something to it. The toilet also acted up a bit. It would flush two or three times in a row by itself. A couple of times the tank did not fill up at all so I had to take the lid off and wiggle the flush to get the water filling again.
My only other small complaint was the coffee supply in the room. They only left one regular coffee pod, one decaf, and one tea pod. I had to go down to the front desk to ask for extra coffee. Even with those few shortcomings, the stay was fine.

om. The bathroom was also not cleaned well, which made going to the bathroom an unpleasant feeling. The staff was unprofessional and unhelpful. When I brought up the issues I had with the room, the employees had an “I don’t care attitude” and did not make any effort to resolve the issue. Their attitude made it all the more frustrating. With all of this the hotel several maintenance issues. The door did not close well, the ac was blowing humid air, and there were many aspects of the room that looked worn down and broken. I used my hard earned money to pay for this so yes, I did expect more. Do NOT book this hotel! I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.

n had a dark black stain on it and the window curtains were so filthy. Bathrooms are so tiny only a 3x3 foot rotation area in bathroom area and that is shared with opening closing bathroom door. Our hair dryer was stored on toilet tank not a safe area for that. Too much furniture and not enough room to put luggage or to move around the room. No clocks in room overall cleanliness was a negative one rating. No platinum ambassador members benefits. Will not visit this hotel again. It was really bad!!!!

seem surprised or concerned at the state of the room when I showed them photos. There were no apologies. Since the hotel and, essentially, the whole city were booked that night, we couldn’t take their offer to leave and receive a refund. However, we did check out a day early the next morning. We were told the manager would contact us about a refund for the second night, but no one has done so or returned my husband’s communications. We are now disputing through hotels.com and will dispute with the credit card company if needed. It seems they are aware of their filthy rooms (another guest complained to my husband about the same issues) but think it’s something they can just get away with.
