The venue was really nice, but the service was not the greatest.
Short story: Rude event coordinator and service staff that ignored requests.
Long story: The event coordinator, N...
anette, was not very sensitive when bringing up issues. For example, my wedding was in December and they had two massive Christmas trees in the front corners and would not cover them. Also, the minimum head count for a wedding in December in the large conference room was 225, instead of the normal 200. She was insensitive when she brought it up even though we would be spending more than 11K at their venue.
Another big issue that really bothered me was that the service staff served the cake and coffee and then IMMEDIATELY picked it up. Some of my guests told them that the people were in the bathroom and would be coming back and they still picked them up. This was at 9pm and we had the venue until 12am. It was very upsetting to me to find this out. I hope another person can avoid these issues I had.
Hotel did all the decorating for me, Blocked rooms, Made sure that groom and Bride were Happy, Made all planning much easier and less stressful. Made food arrangments for specialty...
food with no extra cost. Water park for kids the next morning
The holiday inn was very helpful when planning my reception. A month before my wedding I found out they had a new event planner. I was nervous about switching event planners a mo...
nth before my wedding but they were great. Kim was awesome and went over everything in great detail with us. They took care of a lot of the little details for me as well. We had a lot of friends and family from out of state and a lot of them stayed overnight. We heard a lot of good compliments about the venue, the food, the service, the rooms, and the water park. I would recommend this venue to future brides.
Half way through the whole planning process, the head coordinator was fired and replaced. A lot that was promised by the first, was not provided by the second. They caused a few sc...
rew ups and they didn't offer any compensation for the money I had to spend to fix them. In the end though, the food was phenomenal and the ballroom looked amazing. The night was so perfect that it ALMOST made me forget all the screw ups....almost.
very great to work with, but a few mistakes that made me mad. cost was OK
The facility is beautiful and the manager is very helpful.
This is a great place to have a reception. There was plenty of room. The food was excellent and served quickly along with the cake. They were very helpful with anything that I need...
ed throughout the night. The only thing was there should have been two bartenders instead of one because we had to wait along time to get drinks.
The Holiday Inn was a great place for a wedding reception! Amy and Lisa were great to work with. The ballroom looked beautiful and everything was set up exactly how we wanted it. I...
t was nice not having to worry about whether things were done and set up at the reception while we were at our wedding ceremony. They were very accomodating. It is a great place to have a wedding reception and very intimate as only 1 reception is held there at a time. The food was excellent! The food portions were the largest I have ever had at a wedding reception. Overall, I would recommend anyone have their reception at the Holiday Inn! We had a great experience and all of our guests were very impressed!
