Hello I'm from Pittsburgh and had my wedding at the holiday inn surfside Myrtle beach on 7/17/16 from the time I came into contact with Lesley the event coordinator I knew I was in...
good hands! She made life so easy for me planning over the phone. Her and her team brought to life the small intimate beach wedding of my dreams and I will be forever grateful for that. Food was excellent, service was incredible, location of the hotel amazing! A great start to a wonderful marriage to my husband!
The Holiday Inn at Surfside Beach, SC was an absolutely amazing venue to have our reception at!! The customer service is AMAZING and the over all atmosphere is great! We had our ce...
remony on the beach in front of the Holiday Inn and after everyone went inside to the banquet room. It was nice to have everyone and everything in one place! We had about 60 people total including the wedding party that had traveled in from all over. Everyone stayed at the Holiday Inn and stayed about 5 days. The beach is nice because its not super busy because its not right on the boardwalk, yet its only a 10 minute drive to the boardwalk. The hotel has just recently been updated which was really nice! That was the only true concern is we'd get there and the hotel would look like it was straight out of the 90s l0l( I hadn't been to the hotel until 2 weeks before the wedding). I would recomend the staff and Holiday Inn at Surfside to anyone looking to have a beach wedding... Big or Small!
My husband & I had our July wedding at the Holiday Inn Ocean Front in Surfside Beach, S.C.. Lesley Montee was wonderful, helping me through the whole thing with suggestions for the...
DJ, Bakery, everything and it was all perfect! Our DJ, Paul Matthews, was the best, and the hotel food was fabulous! The serving staff were all very attentive and friendly. We couldn't have asked for better! It's been 3 months since "our day" and our friends are STILL talking about what a wonderful party it was! It was nothing short of the "magic" we had hoped for!
My husband and I had originally planned on another location, which fell through, but we are glad that we went with the Holiday Inn Oceanfront at Surfside Beach. Lesley and Lauren ...
helped answer our questions along the way, and
Ray did a magnificent job with the reception. She and the food/beverage staff transformed the Shoreline Restaurant into what I had imagined it could be and more. The food was great, and so was the bartending. Our guests didn't want to leave at the end of the night.
My only complaint is with guest services. They were rude to my guests when they checked in and acted like it was a burden on them for us being there. We booked approximately 15 rooms for the wedding, and I felt that the front desk acted inappropriately to paying customers.
All in all, the Holiday Inn Oceanfront is a great beachfront location for your wedding.
I had my wedding and ceremony there a month ago...and it was perfect. They were very willing to work with us, helped out with anything we needed and was always very responsive when...

. When I called with a question they were right there to help me and if they did'nt know the answer they found out. The food was excellent ( my husband said the shrimp scampi was the best he had ever tasted) his favorite dish. We had a wonderful time and I could'nt have asked for more for "my babies" wedding day. Thank you all who made that day perfect!!! L.Jones
The staff at the Holiday Inn Oceanfront at Surfside Beach is absolutely amazing. Planning a wedding from two states away is certainly not easy, but they made sure it was as seamles...
s as possible. They were very flexible and did everything they could to make sure the day went exactly as we wanted. We used the Plantation Room for our reception, and it truly could not have been more perfect. The set up and decorations were great, and the food was amazing! They always had great suggestions when we asked about other aspects of our planning (like rehearsal dinner food ideas), an they were also great to work with to make sure we did not bust our budget. I highly recommend!
