Holiday Inn was one of the only hotels in the area that had a bar and a shuttle service, and they were the quickest to respond to my inquiry for a large wedding block, so it was an...
easy choice.
Lisa went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly for us as we were planning our NC wedding from Texas. The room block was seamless and although we were slightly below what was our expect room count, we hit all of the quotas to receive a complementary suite and shuttle service to and from our venue.
Lisa also made sure the bar would stay open late for our guests after the reception! This was a huge gesture that was much appreciated by all!
The staff placed door hangers on all of our guest rooms, and left the welcome bags inside for me, too. Plus (without any asking or prompting), the staff made a note of my Aunt and Uncle's anniversary and had a beautiful welcome for them in their room as an amazing surprise. The service was top notch and the hotel was perfect for us all!
The only thing I wish was different was the shuttle only seated 10, but to help alleviate troubles, there was a sign-up sheet at check-in so guests would know which shuttle time to prepare for.
There were many options for rooms in which to have the reception. There are several ballrooms in the hotel as well as a large conference center next door that is owned by the hote...

They were very willing to work with us on what it was we wanted regarding room arrangement and special requests.;I had to stay on top of the event coordinator there and put in several phone calls to get an answer. Also, they forgot to charge us for our h'oderves when we paid before the wedding and asked us for $800 at the reception.

d warn you about. Lisa Ferguson (She is the person in charge of booking the hotel)was so helpful, I do not know if it would have been as nice if it had not been for her help. She went above and beyond.
