I don’t usually write reviews, but my experience at the Holiday Inn in Dunmore was so AMAZING that I had to make an exception.
After a long drive, I walked in starving and ready for a good drink. That’s when I was greeted by the best bartender...
— Jen. She welcomed us with a big smile and the kind of personality you instantly connect with. She was personable, witty, funny, and truly elevated the entire experience. We love a bartender who can crack great one-liners and offer spot-on recommendations!
The drinks were fantastic, and the soy salmon with rice was an absolute knockout. I’m so glad she suggested it. Jen took the time to ask what I liked and matched me with the perfect dish. That level of attention and care is rare these days.
Even though it was just an overnight stay, the entire experience was exceptional. If I could give Jen 100 stars instead of 5, I absolutely would. We’ll definitely be staying here again on our travels — as long as Jen is behind the bar!

tone with her professionalism, efficiency, and genuine courtesy. She is polished, attentive, and clearly a strong leader who elevates the guest experience through her calm and capable presence.
Jen, a newer team member currently in training, already shows remarkable promise. She is friendly, eager, and willing to jump in wherever needed — qualities that can’t be taught and signal a very bright future ahead.
Erin, the desk manager, demonstrated extraordinary patience and professionalism while handling a prolonged phone call with a guest who repeatedly asked the same questions. For over fifteen minutes, she remained composed, respectful, and attentive — a true testament to her character and customer-service skills.
It’s rare to see a team where every individual operates at such a high level. The Holiday Inn in Dunmore clearly understands that outstanding service starts with outstanding people.

Good stay, could be better. No road noise. The shower had a wonbly floor. The bathroom door didn't close fully. And the soft drinks in the vending machine were $4.10 each. Rarely do DC prices beat other vending machines, but they did by...

The hotel is clean and modern. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. The bar area was nice to sit and relax in. Our only issue was the pool area is not completely enclosed and everything echos. There were people...
/kids in the pool after 11 pm and we could hear them in our room. Our room was down the hall from the pool. If you have a room right next to the pool I'm sure it sounds 10x louder. Had we been there on a night when there weren't inconsiderate guests in the pool I probably would have given 5 stars.
