He had undying energy and stamina to spend the whole day and night with us starting at our home, hopping onto a limo bus that shuttled us to our wedding ceremony in the mountains and then, continued to be with us in Denver for our ceremony. We are so blessed to have connected with him and consider him a friend.

Erik takes the photo that you don't even know you want...example on our wedding day we have the same old posey photos that everybody has but with Erik's style we have photos that are not "basic" like one with my four year old daughter looking back down the long corridor or my son chasing my daughter in their wedding gear and the smiles that go along with that chase...photos of belly laugh after belly laugh. He gave us a box handmade by the amish with our names engraved onto it, it sits on display on our buffet with 150 pictures inside and all kinds of small momento's of our day. It is my most prized possession. I am so thankful to Erik for making the process easy, fun and not in anyway average. Who knew there was a part of wedding planning that was worry free AND fun?!! Erik you have an amazing talent thank you so very much for everything!!!

He spent a lot of time scouting out the perfect spots for beautiful photos. He was calm with all of our family and guests, as well as with the nerve-wracked bridal party. He captured so many unexpected moments - those are truly the pictures that will last us a lifetime and remind us of those wonderful days. shoot it, I had the task of going through my network of colleagues, peers, and friends to pick the perfect photographer. When I found out that Erik was shooting weddings I cancelled my other meetings and called him right away. I have always been impressed with Erik's work as a photojournalist. When I saw his wedding work I was blown away by how he meshed the two worlds of documentary photography and wedding photography to create truly spectacular image. He did not disappoint on our day on October 10th. My wife and I were married in Northern Michigan. Erik and his assistant captured the beauty of the area and used it as a background to capture incredible images and touching moments. Erik and his assistant were considerate and professional. We were not hounded by him, or posed a million ways, he did rush us but he kept us on task. He let us enjoy the day and did not keep us from our friends and family. Erik guided us in the direction to make the best images and we followed along and had a blast participating in his process. He was exactly what we were looking for.

he took the time to meet with me to hear what type of pictures I wanted and gave me some great ideas of his own. He was on-time to our wedding, had a smile on his face the entire time, braved the heat with us for the outdoor pictures, made me feel comfortable in front of the camera (I hate getting my picture taken) and was very non-obtrusive through the rest of the night. My only regret is that we didn't allow for more time with him between the ceremony and reception so that we could've done more photos in the downtown area. I highly recommend Erik for weddings!!
