Hollow to Hem

Hollow to Hem was the best vendor decision we made for our wedding! Ali was incredible, every time we weren't sure about something, her answer was essentially “oh don't worry, I got it,” and she always did. We worked with her as a partial planner and handed everything over to her team the month leading up to our event. Ali coordinated with all of our vendors, handled timelines and logistics, and always made everything feel completely under control. I was set on being a DIY bride, and everything I made only looked incredible because of how they went above and beyond to set things up. We had a multi-day Indian/American event and they learned everything they needed to know about our Indian Sangeet to execute it beautifully. They also handled the transition the two days seamlessly, including setup, teardown, and a complete room changeover overnight. Most importantly, they solved every problem behind the scenes without us even knowing there was a problem, which allowed us to be completely present and enjoy our wedding. Ali always made me feel like she understood exactly what we wanted and never tried to turn our wedding into someone else's vision. I would absolutely recommend Hollow to Hem for and we can't imagine having such an incredible wedding without them!

We used Hollow to Hem for day-of wedding coordination, as well as wedding planning 60 days before our big day, and we couldn’t be happier with their services. In retrospect, after witnessing their amazing work, I can confidently say that we would have hired them for full-service planning if we knew we needed a planner sooner. If you’re thinking about hiring them for wedding, this is your sign to do it! We had a lot of our wedding planned before we realized we could use some extra support, and bringing Hollow to Hem into the fold was the single best decision we made in our wedding planning process. They made the 2 months leading up to our wedding, and especially our wedding day itself, stress-free which meant a LOT to us. They were so thorough, professional, supportive, and organized, and they helped us think of & plan for things we would have never thought of on our own. They were so in tune to our needs and our vision, and they helped our vision for our special day come to life — we genuinely couldn’t have done it without them. They centered our wants and needs while making helpful suggestions when we didn’t know what we wanted. Something that left a big impression on us as well was their ability to work with our multicultural family and support a multicultural wedding with cultural competency, respect, and enthusiasm. Kate was the lead planner for our wedding and she was a ROCKSTAR. We also had the chance to work a bit with the owner of Hollow to Hem, Ali, and both were such a pleasure to work with. I am confident that Ali and Kate are reflective of an amazing team that makes up the Hollow to He’ll staff. They helped us with last-minute emergencies before they turned into a crisis, they gave us the tools we needed to stay organized leading up to our big day, and they were extremely communicative throughout the process. Kate took care of all of our vendor communications in the days and weeks leading up to our wedding, as well as on the day of our wedding, and she oversaw the careful set up of all our decorations, tables, etc. - all we had to do was show up and it made things so easy. We were in such good hands because when we showed up to our venue we were blown away by what an amazing job that Kate and her assistant did with coordinating our vendors and setting up our space in alignment with our vision. Kate was on top of everything all night long so that my spouse and I could be present and in the moment with our wedding guests, which meant the world to us. I felt like I actually got to be present and enjoy my wedding because Hollow to Hem was there to oversee all of the logistics, timeline, and little details throughout the night. I actually can’t fathom the extent of their hard work behind the scenes because they made it look so easy, but that is a testament to their expertise, capability and professionalism. Kate proactively thought of myself and my spouse’s needs all night — down to the little details like learning what our favorite drinks were and making sure our glasses were never empty.
