We are so beyond thrilled with our experience with Holly! We were drawn to her because of her use of color and, with a winter wedding, we wanted to make sure we were choosing somebody who could make photos on a potentially dreary day look their best. During our initial call, she said she "welcomed the challenge of a winter wedding" and I trusted that we were in good hands. She was extremely flexible when we had to reschedule our engagement photo session twice due to bad weather and she also traveled all the way to downtown Chicago (and had a location in mind already!) to capture our photos. We were obsessed with our gallery and couldn't wait to see what she could do for our wedding day. She arrived early the day of the wedding to scout out the location a bit so she knew which areas of the venue would be the best for photos. She was prepared with our "must have" photo list and kept the day rolling to the point where we were even running ahead of schedule! She is SO wonderful to work with--my husband and I are, admittedly, not the most comfortable in front of the camera, but she made the environment calm and relaxed by joking with us, complimenting us, and just keeping up the positive energy. We received a lot of compliments from our wedding party and family that she (and second shooter, Mandy) were both a joy to be around during the wedding activities. She even made sure to grab us before she left for the evening for a few nighttime photos outside with some backlighting. We were so immensely happy with how our gallery turned out (which we received even earlier than anticipated!). We still can't choose a favorite photo because she did such a wonderful job that we are fortunate to be burdened with choice. If I had to do it all over again, I would still happily choose Holly...I'm giving 5 stars but she's worth 10!!!

professionalism and guidance. It made what seemed like a very intimidating part of the wedding planning process a lot smoother. We were BLOWN AWAY by the results of our engagement session, our pictures are so stunning. We've gotten teasers of our wedding day and that already made us cry. She captured light and life and most importantly, she captured the greatest memories from the most special day we will ever have. Holly's editing style and thought process behind her pictures are honestly top tier. We love that there are very bright and airy shots, but then there are the more moody and sensual shots. It's the best of both worlds. Holly impressed not only us but our entire family.
