y planner and I were blown away by Holly's professionalism—head and shoulders over anyone else we talked to. We had a general vision and mood, but from there, let Holly and her team have control on overall flower choices and other elements, and she used her expertise and flexibility to KNOCK OUR FLOWERS OUT OF THE PARK, without relying on a plethora of expensive stems, but instead what was seasonal and/or available from her own flower farm(!) Late in the process, we weighed a few additions and changes to things like ribbon color, and Holly handled it with grace and ease. She was also so accommodating of me wanting a trial floral crown for my hair trial a month before the wedding, and even arranged for me to send the wire crown from the trial back to her for use on my wedding day. On our wedding day, not only were the floral arrangements and my personal bouquet and flower crown BREATHTAKING, but Holly and her team were SO professional, and worked beautifully, efficiently, and confidently in our somewhat-restrictive, challenging historic venue—even as, I would learn after the fact, she actively navigated a family emergency the weekend of our wedding. She even personally delivered my bouquet and floral crown to my bridal suite to check in on me. We heard from our guests over and over again about how spectacular the flowers were. Holly blew us, our planner, and our guests away. People are STILL talking about the flowers, over a month after our wedding.

A true visionary, I knew I wanted to give Holly license to just create and dream up something extraordinary with little direction other than general flowers I like. Having my wedding be impacted by COVID and restrictions in place 2 months out, Holly offered for my husband and I to get married at her farm. At the time I declined, because I was so upset and still cautiously optimistic that we'd be able to press forward with our original plans. Little did I know, that wouldn't happen, so two weeks before our original wedding date (May 2020) I agreed and Holly welcomed us with open arms. To make the day more special, she surprised us with take home arrangements for the women in my family who were in attendance and setup a lovely tablescape. The generosity she showed continued to amaze me. Holly and her team hung in with us for another year, as we still were committed to having a larger celebration with even more family and friends, which we were able to do in June 2021. Yet again, Holly dreamed up perfection and I've now gained a friend and floral designer for life. You can't go wrong deciding to work with Holly.

Not to be outdone, our large wedding a few months later turned out better than I could have ever dreamed of. With little direction from me, I offered some ideas of colors and my "vision", but she created floral masterpieces with beautiful gems from her farm. Before meeting Holly, admittedly, I didn't think flowers could really make a big impact on a wedding...but boy, was I wrong! We were so lucky to have worked with Holly, and I don't feel like I just worked with a florist, but with a friend.

I had always thought her work was stunning, so reaching out to Holly about our own wedding after we got engaged was an easy choice, but I wasn't really sure I wanted to make the flowers the most important part of our big day, or of what "look" I was really even going for in our decor... Holly and her team did the most AMAZING job in both helping bring our design to life and in executing it to its full potential. Working with what seemed like a pretty broad color scheme (neutrals, blush, and metallics with pops of burgundy, merlot and pink), Holly used her local, seasonal blooms to design a gorgeous palate that fit our venue and style to a T. Her experience and knowledge of her craft is obvious just in looking at her work, but her talents and abilities go beyond the aesthetic to make each of her designs unique and personal. From thinking to include hops in the boutonnieres for my Chef fiancé and his food-industry groomsmen, to matching the ribbons on the bridesmaids bouquets to each of their six different dresses (a look I wasn't even sure was going to come together), every floral design was flawless, and we cannot thank Holly and her team enough for helping make our wedding day so beautiful.

bridal bouquet. I sent along pictures of flowers I like and had two lengthy discussions with Holly about options -- she clearly wanted the flowers to be just right for the big day. She outdid herself. The bouquets and boutonnieres were gorgeous and just right. Holly is an artist through and through. If you're looking for high-impact florals, you must talk to her!

I came to her with a Pinterest board full of flowers I couldn't name and she transformed it into beautiful bouquets and center pieces for my wedding day with a nearly perfect match to my wedding flower dreams. The downside is how expensive she is and how little you are able to buy for such a high price. Holly's business is growing substantially now (and for good reason) and it's also difficult to have additional talks with her. When you get her time, she is completely about you; but you only get one or two talks with her or you must pay an addittional fee. If you go with Holly, there is no way you will be disappointed with her flowers--not possible--but just be prepared to pay the price and make use of your time with her!

She went above and beyond, and made our day so special. She and her staff are so accommodating and dependable; knowing that she was taking care of making my reception beautiful made my day so much more enjoyable. Holly and her team truly gave me my fairy tale wedding.

She asked a lot of good questions and spent a long time with me and my mom going through pictures of flowers to help her figure out what kind of flowers I wanted at the wedding. She's friendly, nice and takes a lot of interest in getting to know her brides. She even called me a few days before the wedding to say hello and just make sure everything was going well! She was also very attentive to sticking to our budget.

e only vendor I knew I had to have! Both of my sisters raved about the work she did and since then, she has become a legend around these parts. My fiancé (now husband) and I had so much fun meeting with her and discussing the vision for the flowers –looking back, we were pretty vague about what we wanted-- rustic elegant, soft pinks and purples , greens and some whites. Holly somehow got it exactly right – above and beyond what I could have imagined myself. The bouquets brought tears to my eyes when I saw them on my wedding day…. Every detail was stunningly beautiful, and completely authentic. She has this ability to create arrangements that cater specifically to you and really reflect the bride’s vision and personality. She was also great in working to fit our budget, with ideas like using the bridesmaid and bridal bouquets for the centerpieces at the reception. The flowers were simply amazing and Holly is so much fun to work with. I feel so honored that I was able to have her design our wedding flowers and she herself is so wonderful! So, so, so thrilled with how everything turned out.

ever seen in my life and Holly did that with the hundreds of arrangements she created, each one unique, each one more beautiful than the next, and all of them working together to create the most spectacular setting that my mom, my husband and I (and all of our guests) have ever seen. I wish we could've captured all of the compliments our guests made throughout the evening -- everyone was so taken with Holly's designs that people were literally stroking the centerpieces! I really hope someone got that on camera. We knew Holly was great when we saw the pictures of her work on her website and it was evident from the beginning that she has an incredible gift but holy cow -- what she created for our wedding exceeded our wildest expectations! Everything was beyond perfect. I'm still trying to pick my jaw up off the ground. Holly is the best of the best!

en a friend of the family for years. I didn't want to spend a lot on flowers, or go overboard with them, and Holly met those requirements with stunning artistry. The flowers were breath taking (IMHO) and actually made me tear up when she brought them up to the dressing room. You can just see in Holly how much she loves her work, and cares about her projects. In my opinion one of the greatest things a vendor can have is love for their work. So long story short, I LOVE LOVE LOVE Holly's work and would recommend her to anyone!

end, but I begged and begged her to do my flowers until she gave in. I was lucky that she is such a softie! Despite having to do flowers for 7 weddings that weekend, she delivered. My flowers were truly beautiful - lush, wispy, and airy - just as I asked. I should note that you should give Holly time to get back to you - she is perhaps the busiest floral designer in the area (and with seven children, this is a true superwoman). Once she is able to focus on you, the wait will be worthwhile. She listened to my ideas, complemented them with her own exciting ideas and wealth of knowledge about flowers, and gave spot-on advice (not just about flowers but about weddings in general, too). I find her passion for flowers and design very inspiring. Holly is very highly demanded for good reason - she is AMAZING at what she does, and she combines that enormous talent with a generous heart. A friend of mine made a comment that summed up Holly's work very well: "Everything in your wedding was absolutely gorgeous but I think you stole your bouquet right out of my dreams! So lovely!"

actly what that bride needs. Even though my wedding flowers were on the smaller side in terms of the caliber of weddings Holly does she still blew me away. I am still getting compliments about how gorgeous, unique and creative the flower were. If you chose Holly for your florist you will not unhappy, she works with all budgets, but will be realistic with you about what you can get for your money. Her flowers are fresh and she will not put out a bad product. I cannot say thank you enough for the beautiful bouquets she made for me and my girls. Thanks Holly!

r and truly went ABOVE AND BEYOND for me. She found incredible props ie: a cast iron chalk board for a vintage country chic look and created the most charming and stunning feeling for my wedding. I trusted her taste 100% and she never let me down. Holly loves what she does more than anyone I know and you can tell the minute you meet her. She's so enthusiastic and excited about her work and it really shows. Holly is absolutely the most talented florist in the DC area and I would recommend her to anyone.
