or texts from me. I worked on her wedding for MONTHS. I met with her and her Mother on multiple occasions. Once for 4 hours…. Fast forward to her continuing to not respond to messages. I reached out to schedule their 30 day meeting, and her “husband” decided he wanted to sit in on the meeting. This was the first time he had ever spoken to me or been involved in the planning. He had no idea that she had booked me, signed a contract, and paid me a non-refundable (50% deposit). He told me he wanted a print out of everything I had done for their wedding to ensure their money was well spent. I sent them a 5 page front and back excel document of everything I had done. He then gets off the call and then texts me saying they were not paying their bill because they felt like they could do it without me. MIND YOU - they had not done any of their own planning from October - April. I told them via text message that if they did not make their final payment, my services would end there. They did not ask for a payment plan, they simply told me they were not going to pay - period. This is a business, not a hobby. I gave them the weekend to make the payment, which they did not. I texted and called them both, and her Mother. I was completely ghosted by all three of them. Due to them not fulfilling their contractual obligations - I dropped them as clients and released the date. The week after they told me they weren’t paying, I had a client reach out to me saying they were looking for month of coordination. I booked the client, because the date was a now free - per our contract. I did not hear anything from the Bride or her now “Husband” until I posted photographs from the new client’s wedding. They were bitter and angry that I booked someone new, and wanted to get back at me for that. After harassing me for 3 days I simply reached out and told them the legal advice that was given to me by my legal team. Which included the statement about harassment. This was after I sent them the copy of the contract with her signature on it. Due to the fact that they know they cannot get their money back, because she signed the contract they want to make my life and business suffer by doing things like this. If she was that great at managing her bridal store, she wouldn't have that many unhappy clients at Henri's, and if she was that "well-connected" she would not have needed an event planner. Feel free to contact references, call me, or speak to venues or vendors in the area. They will tell you, this is inaccurate. I have never in my entire decade career in events had someone not pay me, or had a client not follow through with services.

I was incredibly thankful and grateful for the chance to work hand in hand with you all to create the perfect day for each other. It truly was the best day, and I could not have been happier or more blessed to be a part of it. I wish you both nothing but the VERY best in your marriage, you two are destined for greatness.
