Holly was a joy to work with, and we cannot recommend her enough. As others have written, we chose her because we got along well with her and were impressed with the sweet candid photos in her galleries. During couples' portraits (both at our wedding and for engagement photos) she made us feel comfortable and gave just the right amount of direction. During the wedding itself my partner and I remember noticing her only a handful of times in total - she does a superb job of capturing moments without interfering. We are so happy with the photos she took of our wedding and give our highest recommendations for Holly.

We originally booked with Holly because of her excellent reviews and ability to capture truly candid photos. She exceeded our expectations and even got our photos to us earlier than anticipated in the midst of a crazy hectic wedding season. Each photo is beautiful and our guests can’t believe her skill and talent. We are so grateful to have found her. Her prices are fair, she was always extremely responsive, and she brought an especially (and much appreciated) calm demeanor on our wedding day.

Holly was such a gem to work with. She had really positive and laid back energy the whole day, and directed our families, friends, and us (the bride and groom!) with ease. By the end of the night it felt like she was part of our party as more than a vendor, but a guest. We really enjoyed working with Holly and I would recommend any couple to work with her as well.

Holly is an amazing photographer and person, a combination which makes her an ideal wedding photographer! My husband was chatting with her for the first time before the wedding and really liked how warm and down to earth she is, which was a huge asset in helping us feel comfortable in the "natural" wedding couple poses and corralling family for group photos. She was amazing in guiding us in the planning phase, and on the day of did a great job being there to capture all the important moments while also being super unobtrusive so that we just got to really enjoy the day. The quality of her work speaks for itself!

Holly was a fantastic photographer for both our engagement shoot and our wedding! She was very flexible with scheduling our engagement shoot, which was a great time to just walk around a few scenic areas and get to know each other/for my husband and I to get comfortable in front of the camera. On the day of our wedding, Holly made sure to include everything from our pre-made shot list (including lots of different combinations for family!) as well as taking excellent candids. The turnaround time on our gallery was great, even during peak wedding season. We were so excited to all sit down and review our gallery when it came in, and had a great time reliving the day through the memories Holly captured so well. We would definitely work with Holly again!

Holly was an amazing photographer for our wedding. She knew all of the best spots at our venue to photograph and somehow fit all of the outdoor photos in between episodes of rain showers. Holly took dynamic photos and captured so many moments of us with our guests, but she never got in the way of anyone's experience of the wedding. She is the ultimate professional, and we are so lucky we found her to be our photographer!

Holly is incredible. She photographed my sister's wedding and after I saw the pictures I knew I needed Holly to photograph mine. Not only are her pictures warm, human, dynamic, and fun - but Holly herself is such a lovely calming presence. She gave me her personal snacks when I was feeling faint after the ceremony ;-) I literally could not have gotten through everything without her. I cannot recommend her highly enough!!

Working with Holly was great! We did an engagement shoot prior to our wedding and love the pictures from both! We (and all of our guests) really loved the candid photos she took. She captured the joy and closeness of the day. She had great suggestions without being push, and was very organized. We also got rained out a few times for the engagement shoot and she was very flexible on rescheduling.

Holly is amazing! She was a preferred vendor from our venue, we booked her for our engagement shoot and she was awesome! So easy going and down to earth and very accommodating and really made my husband and I feel lie we could be ourselves. We enjoyed working with her so much that we booked her for the wedding. In retrospect, I can't even imagine what my entire wedding would have been like without Holly. Though we had never met in person, on the day of my wedding, the help from my 2 bridesmaids became non-existent. Holly's professionalism and experience led me through step by step. She even helped fix my dress! The venue had a lot of rules and Holly dealt with competing demands. Her flexibility allowed her to compromise on things but never did she compromise on her devotion to taking excellent pictures for our families' memories! Not only were her photographs artistic but they captured the magic of our simple ceremony and of the emotional release by our guests, most of whom, like the rest of the world, had suffered tragedies and losses over the past year and a half. Holly captured the tears, the joy, and the relief in our wedding. I cannot recommend anyone more highly than, Holly, to document your special occasion.

Holly is absolutely amazing. We were very fortunate for her availability when we had to move our date 3 times due to the pandemic. She stuck with us during the roller coaster of emotions! She was extremely flexible and made sure we felt comfortable during the entire event. The wedding pictures turned out perfect! I could not recommend her enough!

I’d love to sing the praises of Holly! She came to the rescue during a rollercoaster of emotions. We had to reschedule our wedding due to my Dad having been diagnosed with Leukemia and death. We had hired another photographer who not only would not be available for the date, but would also not return massages or the substantial money spent. I found Holly on The Knot and she was the breath of fresh air I desperately needed. Her easy going personality helped me not to worry, she had me email her pictures of styles I liked and listened to what my family wanted captured... She delivered beyond our wildest dreams. We got all the shots we desired and both MoB and MoG were very moved with the photos and albums. I can not recommend Holly enough.

We are so thankful to have had Holly as our photographer! Not only did she take beautiful photos of my husband and I, that will last a lifetime, but with patience and kindness, was able to capture every photo we were hoping for with our large families. She even went above and beyond and stayed later than planned when our timeline during the wedding night got a little behind. Getting married during a pandemic is no easy task, but Holly went above and beyond to help us achieve the wedding of our dreams! She was incredibly flexible when we had to change our venue at the last minute. She kept in contact with us through out the entire process leading up to our wedding and she was amazing on the day of. She helped us keep our timeline moving and on schedule and through out the ceremony and reception we hardly noticed she was there. And for anyone concerned about safety, there's no need to worry with Holly! She always made sure to wear a mask. Last and probably most importantly, she stays true to her word! She gave us a realistic time frame for when we would receive our photos and that is exactly when they arrived. Holly is an incredible photographer, we love all of the pictures we received and would very highly recommend her to anyone!

We could not be happier with our experience working with Holly! My husband and I did not have plans to hire photography for our small ceremony, but my sister went ahead and hired Holly Redmond as our wedding gift. I found Holly by searching The Knot and am still amazed by the good fortune! From the very first messages and phone call, she was so personable and professional. I felt very at ease working with her and fully trusted her to capture all the details of my wedding. Holly's clean, colorful photojournalism style was perfect - she has a way of taking both posed and candid photos that made my husband and I look very natural (and neither of us are usually comfortable in front of a camera). Her demeanor and attention to detail are wonderful and I would love to work with her again in the future.

When we were looking for a wedding photographer for our wedding in June 2019, we specifically wanted to find someone who could capture the emotions and essence of the wedding as it naturally unfolded. But at the same time, this was our wedding and we wanted to have the perfect formals, too! Finding someone who can excel at both is not easy, but we were not let down by Holly and her phenomenal photography skills. Whenever I look through our photos, I am immediately brought back to the moment of that image. Holly’s experience in photojournalism translates incredibly well in her style and capabilities as a wedding photographer. When it came to formals, she used these same skills to know exactly how to get us to feel comfortable and act naturally (which is not easy in formals), which resulted in the perfect pictures for us to cherish for years to come. We could not have been happier with the entire experience with Holly.

My husband and I feel so blessed that we found Holly to photograph our wedding! We were so pleased with her work that we have since had 2 family photo sessions with her. She is not only reliable and professional, but she is an absolute pleasure to work with. Holly has an eye for capturing details and emotions in photos that we will cherish forever . Holly photographed our wedding on Thompson Island in Boston on August 17, 2019. She was an absolute DELIGHT to work with from start to finish and we couldn't have been happier with the whole experience. From the beginning, we really wanted someone who focused on taking beautiful photos without looking staged or corny. The "natural" looking photos were so important to us. Holly stood out immediately from her work as someone who focuses on capturing authentic moments between people. Right from our first interaction, we knew Holly would be the one. She was so organized, so kind, patient, and a really good listener in our pre-wedding meetings . She took notes so she could know exactly what formals we wanted, and working with her to plan the day was extremely easy. The morning of our wedding, Holly bounced around to get photos of absolutely everything while we were getting ready - of the venue, my husband and his friends, me and my friends, guests arriving, the band, the flowers, the harbor, everything. They are beautiful. We had a few formals taken before the wedding, too. Holly took control and brought us to some of the most beautiful spots. She was so kind and patient, yet not afraid to take the lead, since we are, of course, not professionals. All of our photos were outside and she had the sun and wind to deal with, too! The pictures from the ceremony and reception were so gorgeous. She somehow identified all of the important people in our lives and took the most amazing pictures of us and them. We were so happy with her work and would recommend her to absolutely anyone looking for a wedding photographer!

Holly was so great to work with both for our engagement and wedding day photos. My husband and I were definitely not used to having our photo taken but Holly’s personality made us feel comfortable which was important to us as we wanted to look natural and like ourselves in our photos. She has a great eye and caught many candid moments which we really appreciate and cherish when we look back at the photos from our wedding day. The photos capture our day perfectly. Holly photographed our wedding in 2012, our daughter's newborn photos in 2014 and was kind enough to accommodate us again for family photos this fall. She was very understanding when we almost needed to reschedule last minute and accommodated us arriving late. Holly has been amazing from start to end - no complaints whatsoever! I think we really lucked out with Holly as our wedding photographer for a winter wedding. She was professional in every way (never late, always early!) and made things very easy for us clueless couple doing our wedding the DIY-way. She also worked very well with our church pastor to make sure that the best photos can be taken during the ceremony while still remaining respectful of the church's photography policy. Nothing frazzles her, not the cold, traffic, etc. She always maintains a happy smile and patient voice. I cannot recommend Holly Redmond highly enough! My husband and I booked Holly to shoot our wedding in July. We were interested in Holly because of her beautiful style, not to mention her affordable pricing. From the moment we met with Holly, we felt comfortable with her kind, welcoming, easygoing, and helpful personality. Throughout the planning process, Holly gave us great advice to make our wedding day flow smoothly. During the wedding, Holly was unobtrusive during the ceremony and reception. I didn't even notice she was there, but she managed to get so many beautiful photos that captured all the emotions of the day. I was a little hesitant that Holly doesn't use a second shooter, but it was totally fine! During the formal photos, Holly gave us clear directions that made for pretty pictures. We didn't do an engagement shoot, which I think I would recommend. Even though we still got great pictures of my husband and me, some of them definitely felt a little awkward because we didn't know the poses that worked best for us as a couple! That being said, I am still so, so happy with our photos and I cannot stop looking at them! Even in the midst of the busy summer wedding season, Holly got all our photos to us in just 5 weeks. The hardest part is going to be choosing which photos to frame/put in albums!

Holly was the photographer at my wedding at the Salem Cross Inn in May and we just received our pictures as promised by her. She did an absolutely amazing job and definitely captured the joy and love that was shared by all that day. She was exactly what we wanted in her professionalism and vision for our photos. Holly was amazing! She put us both at ease immediately on our wedding day and she was calm, professional, and fun to be around throughout the day. On our wedding day, Holly was flexible and more than willing to roll with the punches. When we asked to jump out of the car and take a few unscheduled pictures in front of our first date location she was more than willing to go along with it. She also worked with our bridesmaids and groomsmen to orchestrate photos of a surprise they had cooked up for us. When we decided to cut short our plan for outdoor photos, due to the unexpectedly freezing cold weather, Holly rolled with that too, and then suggested that we take some more photos at the reception site because she knew that we'd want them. She did a great job balancing our desires with what she knew we would want as a professional. Holly delivered the finished photos earlier than promised, and they were beautiful - she captured so many amazing moments. We would hire Holly again in a heartbeat!

If our beautiful engagement photos are any indication of what the wedding pictures will look like, I know they will be phenomenal and capture the amazing day that we all experienced "in real life." My husband and I had already booked another photographer when something came up ( within enough time thankfully ) so we had to begin the search for a photographer all over again. She was super helpful, friendly, professional and worked with my hectic schedule. I barely knew she was there taking photos and yet her work is absolutely stunning! Where do I begin?! Holly is absolutely incredible. We met for an initial meeting where Holly genuinely showed interest in us as a couple. She took the time to hear about how we met and learn our style/ personality. She recommended doing an engagement shoot so that we would be able to get to know her and her style, and vise versa. We chose to go to our gorgeous wedding venue (Friendly Crossways Retreat Center, Harvard MA) for our engagement pictures to get a feel for the property as well, Holly was familiar with the venue which made us feel even more comfortable. Kissing your fiance and being genuine in front of another person and camera can be hard, but Holly made it simple! We felt calm, comfortable, and supported by her! She even recommended an AMAZING place for dinner after our photo shoot. :D Our engagement photos came out absolutely phenomenal and we were so delighted with the choice we made. We discussed formals for our big day, details like the first look, getting ready photos, etc.... and Holly got it ALL! Our big day was captured absolutely perfectly! Every detail is in the pictures, I look at them and feel like I am back there. She was never in the way, but always there. We absolutely recommend Holly to anyone and everyone!

Holly was great to work with, and our pictures look great! We're not really people who are comfortable being in pictures, and she made the whole thing easy for us. We didn't do engagement pictures with her, but met/emailed a lot with her before and she clearly listened and had a good idea of what we wanted her to shoot. Our caterers weren't always great at their jobs, and she really went above and beyond in helping us track down people and things we needed.

Holly was absolutely amazing from start to finish! I was initially attracted to her work because of all of the naturally beautiful shots she has on her website. I wasn't looking for anything too pose-y and her style was right up my alley. During cocktail hour she provided simple instruction about positioning and the results were amazing. I couldn't be more pleased with the formal shots. Then during the rest of the wedding she shot the perfect candids! To be perfectly honest, I hardly noticed she was there during the reception. I have heard of photographers that are sort of in your face but I didn't experience this at all with Holly. All in all she provided us with all we wanted and more ( 620 beautiful pictures!!) And I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a professional and attentive photographer.

We loved working with Holly! We weren't interested in too many formal photo's and were interested in capturing the overall feel of the day. Holly captured it perfectly. We had to interview her over the phone, since we live in New York, but I knew within five minutes of talking to her that she was the photographer I wanted for our wedding. We knew we would be booking Holly from our first meeting with her. She has such a lovely and professional personality and her style suited us perfectly as we were looking for a more photojournalistic feel. Holly was truly the most amazing photographer we could have asked for! My husband and I did a lot of research and met with a number of different photographers but no one was quite like Holly. She was personable, knowledgeable, and her portfolio of work was impressive. We loved that she had a more photojournalistic, natural way of capturing beautiful moments. Her pricing was affordable and fair with several different options for building the perfect package. We did an engagement shoot with her which I highly recommend doing. We got to know her well during this session which made it easy on our wedding day! The month leading up to our big day, she kept in touch and went over everything in detail. She answered all of our questions and was accommodating of our photo requests. The day of, she showed up early to get a good feel of our venue and stayed very present, yet did not get in the way throughout the day. We had a lot of formal family photos with A LOT of people that needed to be taken in the heat and she tackled them all quickly and with ease, even though most would consider it stressful! We were also unsure of how many hours of coverage we would need, so we played it by ear, and Holly ended up staying a half hour later than we originally thought. We just received our pictures back and they are stunning. She caught all of the moments we wanted and more! Thank you Holly for being so fun to work with and for capturing our day so perfectly!

I would give Holly 6 stars if I could. She was amazing, I am so glad we found her! She shot our April wedding and was such a pleasure to work with. She always returns emails promptly, and was just so sweet. And she is talented!! My pictures came out amazing! Even if my photographer budget has been unlimited I would have still chosen Holly. She was easy to reach, really listened to what we wanted, was patient with all of our questions, and always conducted herself professionally. My husband and I were both nervous going into our engagement session because both of us feel pretty uncomfortable in front of a camera, but Holly made us feel completely at ease and did a spectacular job of capturing candid moments that were true to us as a couple. Our wedding photos were no different - they far exceeded any expectations that we had, and we have gotten TONS of compliments on them. We would recommend Holly to anyone, and hope to work with her in the future for family portraits!!
