Everyone there was incredibly helpful and taught me about buying an engagement ring throughout the process. I had no idea what I was doing and Gary walked me through the entire process - he helped me understand what characteristics of a diamond are most important and helped me balance each or those considerations to come up with the perfect ring. Everyone at Holsten respected my budget - no one tried to up-sell me or get me to spend more than I wanted. Most importantly, my fiancée loved it. Great experience- highly recommend for all jewelry purchases and repairs.

I had heard many glowing reviews about this small village gem of a jewelry store and now can add my own! I had shopped at Holsten Jewelers previously (Mother's Day presents, gifts for girlfriends) and the pieces and service were always impeccable. Once my fiancé proposed I knew that Holsten was the only place to go to pick out our wedding bands. Gary Holsten helped me choose the princess diamond eternity band that rests on my finger as I type this review! Gary, and his young sales associate, helped me choose the style and diamonds for my eternity band and really listened to what I was looking for and how I wanted my ring to be. I was able to choose the quality of the diamonds in my ring and even see a computerized image of what my final ring would look like before I have them the green light to create it! This store will be my go to jewelry store for the rest of my life! Top notch service and unparalleled personalized service!

First off, let me start by saying that Holsten Jewelers has been my family jeweler for almost 20 years. Gary Holsten has created dozens of beautiful pieces for my mother over the years and Gary was even the one who pierced my ears when I was 9 years old! My fiance and I had visited Holsten's numerous times before, (watch batteries and jewelry repairs) so my fiance felt comfortable going there by himself when it came time to pick out my (GORGEOUS!) engagement ring. I have only glowing reviews of Holsten Jewelers and Gary Holsten! My engagement ring (a round stone with a delicate halo) is just what I had always imagined it would be! My fiance had a pretty good idea of what I wanted but he confirmed that it was Gary and his sales staff that really pointed him in the right direction! A few days after he proposed, I went back to get an appraisal on my ring and also to thank Gary and his sales associate in person! What really sets this store apart is the feeling of being part of the family here. This place has a history and a feeling of tradition that you feel the moment you walk through the door. I also returned to purchase earrings for my bridesmaids and as expected, everything turned out stunning and all my girls were so thrilled with their gifts!
