Mike is South a Carolina native with ties to Seattle dating back to 1985. He has lived, studied and worked on four continents and numerous cities. He studied culinary arts in Denver Colorado and has worked as an executive chef in restaurants from east to west. With this in mind, I draw on my passion for crafting fresh, scratch-made dishes, influenced by my multicultural Mexican and Japanese roots, which have taught me to think outside the box. Home Bites was the perfect choice to cater our BBQ-style wedding! Their menu of hamburgers, hotdogs, sausages, and all the fixings was a hit with our guests. The additional sides, including fresh salads, jalapeño poppers, and chips, complemented the meal perfectly and made everything feel complete. Mike and Home Bites were one of our food truck vendors for my wedding a few months back. Mike showed great communication during coordination and planning, was flexible with the arrangement of the food truck (going above and beyond buying a shim to level the tires which was not previously discussed), showed up on-time, and most importantly, the food at home bites is top tier. Every single option will have you coming back for more.

My fiancée and I recently attended a tasting with HomeBites as we searched for a caterer for our wedding. From the outset, Mike went above and beyond to create a positive experience, even offering us his parking spot to spare us the hassle of navigating Seattle's challenging parking. This thoughtful gesture set the tone for an exceptional experience. The tasting featured generous portions in a private and welcoming setting, which made my fiancée feel truly cared for—a significant highlight for us. The menu included smoked brisket, flank steak with chimichurri sauce, baby back ribs, smoked pork belly, mac and cheese, pulled pork sliders, BBQ Guinness chicken, mashed potatoes, and Brussels sprouts. My fiancée especially loved the baby back ribs, while my personal favorite was the BBQ Guinness chicken. We both agreed that every dish was outstanding! We’re thrilled to have chosen Mike and HomeBites to cater our wedding. Thank you, Mike, for your exceptional service and delicious food!

Mike was a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process, and very fairly priced. He was quite forthcoming with suggestions on how best to serve our guests. We started out thinking we wanted the food truck option, but it turned out that buffet was a better fit for our event, and he was right! Even though, it meant that he was charging less money, he made it clear that he was more interested in our guest experience. The food was fantastic! All of our guests agreed, and the portions were spot on. There was very little waste at the end of the night. Overall, very pleased with the service provided, and would hire again in a heartbeat!

Excellent Food and services. We are Vegan and We look for so many catering services because no one will offer us a 100% vegan Menu because they didn't new the Vegan diet, or the one who knew it were so expensive. When I found the Home bites and I call them, they knew right away what we needed, and makes us a 100% vegan menu! the prices are excellent they get adjusted to you budget, The team was great!, food was delicious even NOT vegans love the food of our wedding. THANK YOU Home bites for making the best food for the best day day of our lives!!!!!!
