Home Bites has been so lovely during the whole experience of getting set up for catering our wedding. Mike has been so helpful with creating a custom menu to fit our theme, working out a schedule and helping with needs I didn't even know we would have (thank goodness for the professionals). The tasting was so luxurious and had me wanting to continue eating even after I was full. The wait staff were so kind and informative during the tasting. This is a well rounded team who are so thoughtful about any needs you may have and go through all options with you in great detail!

Mike is South a Carolina native with ties to Seattle dating back to 1985. He has lived, studied and worked on four continents and numerous cities. He studied culinary arts in Denver Colorado and has worked as an executive chef in restaurants from east to west. With this in mind, I draw on my passion for crafting fresh, scratch-made dishes, influenced by my multicultural Mexican and Japanese roots, which have taught me to think outside the box. This foundation drives me to continually expand my knowledge and refine my skills by drawing inspiration from diverse cuisines. Above all, I remain committed to staying in tune with evolving trends, understanding that there is always more to learn. The tasting featured generous portions in a private and welcoming setting, which made my fiancée feel truly cared for—a significant highlight for us. The menu included smoked brisket, flank steak with chimichurri sauce, baby back ribs, smoked pork belly, mac and cheese, pulled pork sliders, BBQ Guinness chicken, mashed potatoes, and Brussels sprouts. thinking we wanted the food truck option, but it turned out that buffet was a better fit for our event, and he was right! Even though, it meant that he was charging less money, he made it clear that he was more interested in our guest experience. The food was fantastic! All of our guests agreed, and the portions were spot on. There was very little waste at the end of the night. Overall, very pleased with the service provided, and would hire again in a heartbeat!
