Lauren, Mark, and our three kids run the Lodge year round - cross country skiing in the winter and weddings and various other groups the rest of the year. We delight in our guests having a great time and enjoying this incredible location. We're happy to tell you about local plants, animals, and geology or point you on your way to adventure. Ask one of kids to tell you about the local ant lions and maybe help you feed one.

Our wedding reception at Homestake Lodge was nothing short of perfect. It was gorgeous and they worked with us so much before hand to make sure that everything went smoothly. It is so great to have the cabins as well for guests or to stay in yourselves after a fun filled reception. I can’t recommend them enough!

We had our wedding here in September and it was absolutely amazing. The views are gorgeous. There are so many great spots for pictures. Mark and Lauren were very accommodating and quickly responded to all questions and issues that arose. It is very convenient having them on site. We loved that our family and friends could stay onsite in the cute cabins and beautiful lodge or bring their campers. It was so nice not having to worry about driving somewhere after our wedding. Mark and Lauren took care of directing parking and campers for the weekend, which really took the stress off of us. Mark and Lauren made clean up easy and straightforward. The lodge has a big kitchen that was wonderful for breakfast every morning and rehearsal dinner. We would definitely recommend having your wedding here! ❤️

We absolutely loved this venue for our wedding! When we started planning our wedding, we knew we wanted to find an outdoor venue with an understated natural beauty and elegance that didn’t break the bank. We were so lucky to find this at Homestake Lodge! This venue was the perfect location for our out-of-state guests to get a taste of the outdoors while also exploring Butte and other nearby towns. A few of our guests loved staying in the lodge and cabins during our wedding weekend and enjoyed hiking and biking on the trails. Lauren and her family’s professionalism, clear communication, and kind-nature made the entire wedding process so easy and kept us feeling at ease from beginning to end. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!!

I cannot express how wonderful our wedding weekend was. Lauren was so easy to work with and answered all of our questions quickly. The venue was absolutely gorgeous. When items were not available or when concerns arised, she always had alternative options or local resources to assist with our needs (support your locals!). The overall service provided was a rustic, genuine Montana experience (something we wanted our guests to enjoy as much as we do) while also providing services which made the day smooth and easy- space for rehearsal, ceremony, reception, and lodging for friends and family.
