Homestead on the Roof is a secret rooftop garden venue and restaurant located in West Town, and truly one of the city's best hidden gems! Host your next event in our completely private space and work with our event coordinator to cusmtomize the space to your liking. Nestled in between two natural brick buildings, our patio features hanging and planted gardens. You'll also have access to our interior, complimented by natural birch wallpaper, rustic tables, bright sunlight and intricate terrariums. Homestead is the perfect setting to host your wedding, rehearsal dinner, shower, corporate event or birthday party. Additionally we are available to cater any to offsite location so let us bring the party to you.

I always felt like I was in good hands which left me feeling stress free regarding anything the venue handled! The response time from Kelsey was always quick even during busy season, and she always had great suggestions when I needed help. The wedding was beautiful and so perfect. All the staff were attentive, friendly, fun and timely. A lot of our guests complimented how great the staff was & also mentioned it’s some of the best wedding food they’ve had! We had day of help from Kelsey and Autumn, they were both super helpful. Autumn even helped keep my train tidy before walking down the aisle. Thanks to everyone who worked this night. You gave us some of our best memories!

The venue is BEAUTIFUL. Minimal wedding decor was needed due to the flowers, foliage, string lights, and overall atmosphere Homestead of the Roof provides.
The day of was a little chilly and they quickly provided space heaters so our guests wouldn't be too cold, and before the event we discussed possible rain plans in detail so all could rest assured.
All of our guests raved the entire time how it was the best wedding they've ever been to. Would absolutely recommend!

y fun and successful event. Everyone was knocked out by the quality of the food and drinks and how lovely, helpful and gracious all of the staff were. The prep work that went into the planning of the event was also handled very well. Kelsey (and her predecessor Morgan) were both great to work with - really responsive, very helpful and extremely accommodating. What could have been stressful was made pretty effortless as well as fun every step of the way. I highly recommend Homestead, both as a wedding or event space, as well as for dinner and/or drinks.
