Our cake was included in our wedding venue package (Factoria at Charles Point). Being from Westchester, I've been familiar with Homestyle for years as my family loves their pastries/desserts for the holidays. We could not be happier with how everything turned out on our wedding day! My husband and I decided to have cupcakes for all our guests and a small cake for us to cut for pictures/save to bring home. The cupcakes were a hit! We were able to get two flavors (Hostess and Cannoli) and everyone we talked to were beyond impressed with them. We were able to pick our favorite flavor (Black and White) for our personal cake, and it was even better than when we had it with our tasting. Julie was easy to get in contact with, and answered all my questions and eased any concerns I had. I would absolutely recommend booking with Homestyle!

The bakery designed our cake exactly as we asked for our wedding. It came out beautiful, we were very happy. We picked the strawberry and cream cake and it was absolutely delicious.

My wife and I got married on the 21st of October this year in a Hallowedding of our dreams. HomeStyle Desserts gave us a cake that we designed exactly and absolutely loved it. We also requested a vegan cake that our vegan guests absolutely loved. They were provided in our venue package for a wedding cake. Everyone raved about our cakes and even went to the bakery on another day outside of our wedding.

They got the date of my wedding wrong. The morning of my wedding I got an aggressive phone call asking me for the details of my cake- my venue had reached out to find out when my cake and desserts were going to be delivered. They seemed to have absolutely not a clue who I was, despite several prior emails, a phone call, and an in person visit to pay the remaining deposit. After the team realized they got the date wrong (they had written down September 9 and my wedding was September 3), they insisted I would have the cake I ordered. Spoiler alert: I didn’t get what I ordered. My cake was delivered a sloppy mess. My maid of honor saw it after delivery and described it to me as “the leaning tower of Pisa.” The venue had to stick multiple dowels in it so it didn’t topple over. It was only one flavor, not the two I had ordered. The design was clearly thrown on to get it done with, and the cake tier I brought home was misshapen and decorated with pink sprinkles like a kindergartener made it in class. To top it all off, I had to reach out for an apology; they made no attempt to make it right. I would avoid at all costs for your peace of mind.

No Show!!!!!My daughter ordered a cake for her wedding and they never showed up after paying over three hundred dollars.The manager try to put the blame on my daughter which we did not appreciate at all,we have proof of the whole conversation through texting.I would not recommend them at all for a special occasion.Thank goodness her venue came through for us.

Used Home Style Bakery for my wedding cake, mini desserts, and apple cider donuts. Everything was delicious and arrived according the plan. Would highly recommend the cider donuts for a fall wedding!!

The taste and quality of their desserts is great, but (especially in the age of social media) they need work in terms of design!

Our strawberry & cannoli vanilla wedding cake was absolutely delicious. Received numerous compliments from guests. The cake design was beautiful, and the bakery was able to accurately replicate the design we sent from Pinterest. Prices were very reasonable, and the cake tasting was free, which is contrary to the policies of many other bakeries we explored. Overall, we highly recommend this bakery for your wedding cake. You will not be disappointed!

Homestyle is honestly the best bakery in the Hudson Valley! Not only did they do our wedding cake, but we get all of our cakes there ! Now I just reached out to them to do my daughters sweet 16 cake! All of my guests have complimented by wedding cake and was impressed by the restaurant style quality of the cake.

We had to choose a cake for our wedding and my wife and I were surprised by how good the cake samples were and how hard it was to choose one for our wedding. We ended up going with carrot cake not just because it is different but it was delicious.

Our cake was part of our wedding package from our venue (Hollow Brook). The tasting was very easy- just call and pick up a sample of cakes. I simply emailed the bakery with our choice and then followed up with our guest count. It was very easy since our venue then coordinates getting the cake for the day of. The cake was delicious and looked beautiful.

My fiancé and I have been avid fans of Homestyle for years. When we found out that our wedding caterers worked exclusively with them we were thrilled. As not the biggest cake fans, we decided to do a variety dessert station at our wedding. Julie was easy to work with and helped us create a great selection of items. We intended to have leftover desserts as favors.... however the only items left were a handful of cupcakes. Everything here is top notch and can't recommend enough!

Homestyle was the original vendor for Glen Island Harbour Club. We decided to keep them versus their newer cake vendor that had zero customizing ability. The ordering process with Homestyle was easy and they followed instructions on the color change we wanted to a cake design. Cake was delicious!

We worked with Homestyle Desserts Bakery through Hollow Brook Golf Club for our wedding cake. The team at Homestyle was wonderful and easy to work with! Our cake tasting was easy, not to mention delicious! We went with the Double Temptation Chocolate and it was AMAZING!

YUM! I'm still dreaming about our wedding cake - strawberry double temptation. Our cake not only tasted great, but it looked amazing. We caught several guests trying to steal other's slices - which speaks for itself! Absolutely delicious.

Homestyle Desserts is an incredible bakery! We chose the strawberries and cream with custard as the flavor! It was beyond delicious, all of our guests loved it!! They were incredibly communicative throughout the entire process - I sent their team the idea for the cake design and delivered the Italian ruscus greenery a couple of days before our big event! They kept the ruscus fresh and as you can see turned our inspiration into reality! Just beautiful!!! Thank you so much to everyone at the bakery that made our wedding cake so delicious and beautiful! My husband and I have also tried some of their other treats! I am a huge fan of their cannolis and cookie dough cookie tacos! Will absolutely be visiting again soon for more!!!

I used this bakery for my wedding cake and it was delicious, one thing my husband and I really wanted was good food and great tasting cake and they went above and beyond with the flavor. they’re missing one star because of the up-and-down I had with ordering, I think they need a better system but then again it is Covid.

Absolutely delicious! Our cake was beautiful and yummy. We were eating leftovers for a week! They also made cider donuts for us as favors and everyone keeps raving about them. Weeks later we’re still being asked where we got them.

WOW!! Our cake was included through Homestyle Desserts Bakery in our wedding package at The DoubleTree Hilton in Tarrytown, NY - and we were absolutely blown away by it!!! We had chosen a tree design with realistic bark and that is exactly what we got!! We didn't even want to cut it it was so beautiful! Thank you a million times over for giving us the most beautiful and unique cake!

delightful experience. tasting was delicious. we went with 4 flavored cupcakes. my fav. his fav. his hometown fav and my childhood fav. the flavors were amazing. peresentation was impeccable. i had to go boxes and people got to take home a delicious treat. we did one small tier to cut and save, per tradition

The cake tasting was very fun and the cake was perfect and delicious. There were thousands of options to choose from and they did not disappoint.

My family has used Homestyle for many occasions in the past, so they were the only place I even considered ordering our wedding cake from. I met with the owner, Rose, and she had no problem creating exactly what I wanted (Only wanted a small wedding cake, with a sheet cake to serve our guests delivered to the kitchen), and decorated it perfectly with the flowers and cake topper I provided her with. Not to mention, she suggested an awesome flavor combination, and all our guests loved it. I'll always recommend Homestyle!

I don't even know what to say. Our cake was absolutely perfect. From the tasting to the day of it was great working with Homestyle Desserts in Peekskill. Marissa brought our wedding cake vision to life. They took my dairy free requests very seriously and made me two delicious layers of chocolate and vanilla cake with dairy free Nutella filling. t The other two layer for our guests and my groom was chocolate mousse and cheesecake which everyone loved. The cookie trays were delicious as well. I just wish the trays had been fancier. I plan on going to Homestyle soon and getting a replica of the nutella tier so I can really enjoy it.

We are so happy that we chose Homestyle to do our wedding cake. We sat down with them and they provided a range of cakes to taste from carrot cake to their famous "crowd pleaser." All of them were delicious, fresh, and well crafted. We went with their yellow cake with cannoli filling and we were blown away. We went with a simple ribboned, tiered cake with buttercream frosting with each layer rimmed with a gold ribbon. We would not change a single thing. We were told by several guests that it was one of the best cakes they have had at a wedding. We ate so much of it at the wedding and even more the next day! Now let's see how it tastes in a year when we take the top layer out of the freezer. Cannot recommend enough!

We have always used Homestyle, from our Engagement party cake to our Wedding cake. All of their desserts are absolutely delicious! Our wedding cake was absolutely perfect!!

We used this bakery as it came with our venue. The cake they made was beautiful and delicious. I would've given 4 stars, but was unhappy with our cake tasting process. I called and made an appointment over a month in advance as we were planning from out of town. I even emailed to confirm the appointment and the response was that we were on the books. However, when we showed up that morning the staff didn't know and weren't prepared. They checked the calendar and saw my appointment so they made it work, but at first we were made to feel like an inconvenience. I would definitely recommend the actual cake, but just make sure to triple check they're ready for you!

My family uses Homestyle for everything and we always have the best desserts! My wedding cake was no different, people are still talking about how delicious it was!!!!

Our cannoli cake was delicious and beautiful!

We worked with Homestyle Bakery for our wedding just under two weeks ago and I still have people telling me how delicious our cake was. We had a 4 tier wedding cake with floral fondant and a strawberry & custard core. The turnout was a beautiful, elegant wedding cake. My husband, who is from Texas, also wanted to have his own grooms cake and Homestyle made it happen. Both cakes were awesome!

Our red velvet cake was delicious. Though our initial cake design was no longer an option, the cake Homestyle Bakery provided for us was even better! Their red velvet recipe changed, and so a white frosting was no longer an option without worry of a bleed-through. They called us the week before our wedding to work out a new plan, and our “naked” style cake came out so wonderful. It was DELICIOUS. I didn’t get to eat much of the food at my wedding, but you can bet I ate every last bite of my red velvet cake with “better cream” instead of cheesecake frosting. It was the best thing on the menu. Highly recommend!!

Our wedding cake was delicious and all of our guests couldn’t stop talking about it. I highly recommend Homestyle Bakery. You can’t beat the price and the quality.

While the cake was very tasty the bakery did not follow what I requested as far as style. I specifically sent a picture and gave details on how I wanted my cake to look which they ignored. This is EXTREMELY frustrating. You are being paid to follow instruction and when you fail to do so that speaks volumes to how you run your business.

The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because I didn't get an elaborate wedding cake, so I'm not sure how they would do that - although have no reason to think they wouldn't be great. What I do know though is: someone I know recommended them to me, we actually switched to use them last minute, the cake was beautiful (4 tiers) & delicious. They accommodated us (with some attitude, but whatev) & delivered as promised. If you are looking for an affordable cake (but still pretty & tasty), look no further.

What a great job Homestyle did on our wedding cake. I made the fondant decorations for the cake, but the bakery handled the rest. The cake was exactly what we envisioned. Gorgeous job!

Our venue referred us to Homestyle and we so glad! We met with Catherine and Julie and they had us taste several delicious cakes. It was hard to choose but we went with the People Pleaser- it stays true to it's name! The textured look of the icing came out just the way we described it and our guests commented on how delicious the cake was!!

I was there on Saturday with my fiancé for a cake tasting and had the worst experience ever. We arrived 10 mins early and after waiting 5 mins for anyone to a knowledge us, there was 6 staff there just walking around and on cell phones , the staff member was all frantic bc we were "too early" and the woman who does their cake testing wasn't there yet. We were then walked to the back to look at designs which was fine but again staff was frantic and acted like we were a burden. The woman who did our cake tasting finally arrived and upon walking in through a back door let in a dog , that I guess was someone from the shops, and it began to jump on my fiancé. After 5 mins we finally got some assistance in getting the dog off my fiancé and outside. The woman who was working with us I can't even tell you here name because she didn't introduce herself was rude. We explained that we didn't want a traditional design and rejected the few ideas we had without a true explanation. A man who I guess worked there then went to the back door to talk to someone and stood in the doorway with the door open which again let the dog back inside and jumped back up on my fiancé. Instead of helping the woman we were working with yelled to the man who opened the door who also didn't help but instead was telling my fiancé for another 5 mins about how much the dog liked him. We finally got back to the cakes but I couldn't focus on ideas bc the young boy that was in the shop was screaming and yelling at the woman helping us who was yelling back at him. When I reminded the woman that I was gluten free she gave me the dirtiest look and told me they only offer gf cheesecake and then asked me what gluten was. I explained that we were told by our venue that they offered more gf options then just cheese cake and that I did not like cheesecake nor want it at my wedding was not listened too and offered 4 different cheese cake options or some cookies. We then left stating that we will be talking to our venue and choosing another bakery. The woman got annoyed and didn't even say any apologies or anything just blamed the venue for lying to us. Hands down the worst experience I've ever encountered and would never recommend them. Customer service was terrible and other things.

We got our cake from Homestyle Desserts and we are so glad we did. They recreated exactly what we wanted from a picture we sent them, a simple cake with buttercream and fresh flowers, and it was perfection. The cake itself was so moist and flavorful, we were pretty bummed there was nothing left after the reception. We will definitely have to reorder a cake for our anniversary.

We had such a great experience at Homestyle. From the super easy tasting and design meeting, to the day the cake was delivered, everything was amazing. Our cake was EXACTLY what I wanted: simple, classic, beautiful and delicious!!!! Thank you so so much!

We absolutely loved our cannoli flavored naked cake. A four tier cake was part of our reception package at the Chalet on the Hudson, which is a partnership that makes sense because they both do deliciousness very well!! I am actually really glad that our package led us to Homestyle Desserts because I'm not sure we would have found them on our own! If you can, be sure to visit their absolutely delightful bakery in Peekskill - my (now)husband's mother didn't want to leave and enjoyed a bunch of their goodies that she purchased after our cake-tasting appointment. We highly recommend Homestyle :)

We are HEARTBROKEN that we forgot the top of our beautiful wedding cake before we left our venue because that cake was exquisite. Several guests commented that this was the BEST wedding cake they'd ever had. The team was great to work with and made selecting our flavors easy and fun and were so accommodating when it came to the custom design of our cake.

They did a great job of executing the design we wanted. It was beautiful and just what we wanted. The cake was tasty and what we ordered. Really pleased with how this turned out!

We had our wedding cake and our wedding favors made at Homestyle. Honestly, they could not have been any better. We chose a carrot cake, with cream cheese filling, and buttercream icing and OH MY GOD was it delicious! Even people who don't normally like carrot cake were so impressed. Equally as impressive were their apple cider donuts. We ordered them as favors and were a bit concerned with how they would hold up if people ate them the day after. Often cider donuts tend to get stale within 24 hours. Not these! We were eating them a full week later, and they were just as moist and delicious as the day we got them. We couldn't be more pleased- thank you Julie and team!

We had our wedding at the Thayer Hotel last month and the cake was through Homestyle Bakery. The design of the cake was absolutely stunning and identical to the pictures I had shown. The cake itself was delicious! So fresh and full of flavor. Our guests could not stop asking where we got our cake from. Thank you!

Homestyle Bakery made our wedding cake for our wedding at Ceola Manor earlier this month and it came out amazing! Our cake tasting was delicious a few months ago and they created the cake exactly how we wanted. I would absolutely recommend this bakery to anyone looking for a wedding cake!

We had our reception at the Cliff House at Bear Mountain which uses Homestyle Bakery as their cake vendor. We got a beautiful 3 tiered white cake covered in chocolate covered strawberries with chocolate and strawberries cascading down the top and sides. We went with a chocolate cake that had cheesecake and chocolate mousse filling. It was amazing!! My husband, myself and our guests loved it. We took a big piece home with us to freeze and I gave the rest to my mom for her church group meeting the next day which they LOVED!

We are so happy we chose Homestyle Desserts Bakery for our wedding. My husband and I chose cupcakes for our wedding with a small cake on top of the tower! The strawberry shortcake cake was absolutely delicious (we just finished off the last of it!) and the cupcakes were all devoured by our guests, who raved about the delicious flavor options. Homestyle Desserts Bakery was great to work with and definitely came through to make our wedding day sweet!

We had our wedding at Bear Mountain Inn in NY and Homestyle Desserts Bakery was their cake vendor. YOU HAVE NO IDEA how many people complimented us on the cake. We had a chocolate cake with chocolate fudge and the actual cake was white with black leaves. It was beautiful. Can I also say how easy it was to work with them? When we did our tasting, I asked what else they would need from us from then until the wedding - they said that we had enough to worry about and they would handle everything. Loved that, loved them, thank you! Definitely recommend. (Also, the other cakes we tried at the tasting were incredible, really liked the cannoli filling too).

Homestyle Desserts Bakery helped make dreams come true for my July 3 wedding in West Point, New York. The cake was included with my reception at The Thayer Hotel at West Point, and it was absolutely delicious! We tasted so many decadent favors, but decided on a vanilla cake with strawberry and vanilla custard filling. The design was gorgeous, and exactly what I wanted from Pinterest without any extra charge. Our guests are still raving about the cake - THANK YOU!

The most delicious wedding cake I've ever eaten!!! Chocolate and vanilla cake with a cheese cake and strawberry filling. YUM!!! And might I add it was BEAUTIFUL to look at as well! Thank you!!
