Honey Bee Bakery

Looking for our perfect wedding cake was very stressful since a lot of the places we sampled tasted okay...but not great. One day I came across a comment in a wedding group about Honey Bee Bakery in Madison, and thought we'd give it a shot. We contacted Mary, and she packed us up a wonderful little tasting box (free of charge) that included different styles of frosting and fillings. My husband and I couldn't decide between caramel and raspberry (they were both SO good), and Mary said we could combine them to have BOTH. Best. Decision. Ever. Our cake was my favorite part of the day (besides my husband, hehe). We ordered a two tier raspberry and caramel genoise cake with a rippled design, and Mary EXCEEDED our expectations in taste, quality, and design. She even took care of ordering some greenery and flowers in our colors to use as simple decoration. At the end of the night, we had some cake leftover (our 'fault' since we didn't advertise our cake cutting and had it away from the rest of the food), and ended up eating it for a week after the wedding. Guess what - it still tasted GREAT!! I can't wait to eat our top tier in 9 months...seriously, everyone - this cake was SO good. 10/10 stars
