This company was fantastic and easy to work with! We were able to select our tasting options and have them ready for pick-up in just a few days. The flavors and consistency were better than everyone else we tried, and the pricing was comparable. We ordered our 3-tier naked cake with them, and they delivered to our wedding venue without issue the morning of the event. The cake was unscathed and delicious! With all the madness of coordinating with vendors they were by far the easiest to work with, and that's saying something! All of our vendors turned out to be great to work with, and Honey Bee was no exception.

We absolutely had a great experience from the time we reached out to Honeybee until the day our cake was delivered. We sampled there beautiful cakes back in March and were immediately impressed from March - November 2023, any question we had we always got a prompt response. We showed them an inspo pic and they delivered and surpassed our expectations. The cake was delicious and beautiful!!!!! We are so happy and our guest raved all evening.

We worked with Honey Bee Pastries for our wedding in October 2023. They did a spectacular job! For our wedding we went with a 2-tier wedding cake and then 3 types of cupcakes for our guests. The cake they gave us was GORGEOUS that nailed our theme and even personalized it with our star signs! Not to mention the cake was delicious (chocolate cake with caramel buttercream)! For the three types of cupcakes, we got pumpkin spice with cream cheese frosting, vanilla with strawberry frosting, and chocolate with coffee frosting. Everyone at the wedding LOVED them. The only thing I would change if we could redo it again would be ordering more cupcakes because they were that big of a hit with our guests!

Jenya was amazing to work with and our cake looked beautiful! She worked with our requests, brought flowers to decorate the cake with, and allowed us to mix two different flavors. We got several comments from our guests about how good it was, and have the top tier saved for our first anniversary. Would highly recommend Honey Bee pastries and Jenya!

Simply put, the most delicious wedding cake we’ve ever had. And we sampled plenty. We provided an inspiration photo and Jenya delivered a more beautiful and elegant cake than we had imagined. Can’t recommend Honey Bee Pastries enough.

Jenya was amazing to work with. She responded quickly to emails and with as much information as she could. We had a chance to meet her when we picked up our tasting box and was very personable! She even mixed two flavors to give us exactly want we wanted. Our cake was beautiful!

We used Honeybee for our September wedding cake. Working with Jenya was such a pleasure. She always responded quickly and provided great guidance. For our cake we chose a white cake with buttercream frosting and raspberry jam. Everyone said it was the best cake they’ve ever had! We couldn’t recommend Honeybee enough!

Honeybee Pastries created such a special and beautiful cake for our wedding day. Jenya worked with us throughout the process to create a gorgeous, lace-detailed cake with live flowers, and two flavors! We were drawn to her expertise on both the cake’s beauty and delicious taste. It was gorgeous, and her placement of the flowers looked phenomenal. We are looking forward to our cake topper for our anniversary!

After a great deal of research, my husband and I selected Honey Bee Pastries to create our wedding cake. Honey Bee Pastries designed a two-tier wedding cake with a coastal autumn theme. They incorporated our painted pottery turtles into the design. The chiffon lemon with raspberry filling and chiffon with passion fruit filling cakes were delicious!! They were extremely easy to work with (including making several tasting boxes available at different times due to COVID restrictions.) Honey Bee Pastries was also reasonably priced for the Washington, D.C. area. We would highly recommend using them for all your catering bakery needs.

We ordered a small two-tier cake and cupcakes for our wedding, and all of it was absolutely wonderful! Our guests raved about Honey Bee. Jenya knew exactly what I wanted on the cake and really delivered. Everything tasted heavenly. We are so happy with Honey Bee that we want to get our first anniversary cake from them. You will not be disappointed!

We LOVED our wedding cake from Honey Bee Pastries! Jenya is super responsive and friendly, and their flavors are absolutely out of this world delicious! We were also impressed by how affordable their prices were for how absolutely stunning the design was. You should definitely book with them!

We tried so many different cakes and Jenya & Andrew's cake was without a doubt the tastiest. Light, fluffy, the perfect sweetness, and sooooo beautifully designed exactly to our specifications. The cake didn't break the bank either! Jenya also was super communicative and a joy to work with - we will definitely be getting more cakes from them in the future!! p.s. they are professional pastry chefs working out of their home - we love supporting small businesses!!

Choosing to work with Honey Bee Pastries for our wedding was the absolute best choice! Jenya is so kind, accommodating and prompt to respond to email communication. Our cake was even more beautiful than we pictured and tasted absolutely amazing! We received a lot of compliments from the guests on how delicious it was. Jenya also made a Groom's Cake for the rehearsal dinner that was amazing! Honey Bee made a delicious and beautiful cake for our big day. Jenya was amazing to work with. She asked us to drop our cake topper and dog figurine off in advance so she could make sure that our final product would be exactly what we wanted. The cake looked perfected and tasted equally as amazing! Honey Bee made not only a delicious and perfect cake for our wedding, but also an amazing groom's cake as well! They helped pull off a perfect surprise at our rehearsal dinner with an absolutely amazing Super Mario themed groom's cake. Jenya worked with me to come up with a perfect design that embodied the specific characters and details that I wanted. My groom was thrilled and it was a prefect dessert to end our rehearsal dinner. We cannot recommend Honey Bee enough and look forward to buying many more cakes from them in the future!

The team were great with communication. We had several meetings to plan out our design and the cake transportation. Their cake tasted so amazing! It was light, moist and wonderful. We got an almond cake and chocolate cake with buttercream frosting. They created a beautiful cascade of cherry blossoms along our cutting cake that made all our guests ooh and aaah. Our cutting cake had two tiers, one almond and one chocolate. We would order their cakes for any and every event in our future. They were very accommodating with arranging a safe tasting during the COVID pandemic.

We actually did a half cake/half styrofoam option which was covered in fondant. She gave us our quotes almost the same night as our conference call with detailed drawings - super professional. My husband was a little hesitant at first with our cake choice because it was going to use fondant and he is not a fan. However, he actually really enjoyed the fondant on this cake. The cake was also beautiful and tasted delicious. She also made our cake topper which looked amazing. Highly recommend!

Andrew and Jenya’s cakes are absolutely amazing!! After tasting around a bit, the tasting that they put together blew everyone else out of the water and we immediately fell in love. All of the flavor combinations for the cakes were so incredible, we decided to switch our dessert plan from a pastry bar to sheet cakes. Not only did it result in a much more affordable option, they even hand delivered it to the venue for free! Everyone commented on how delicious and moist the cakes were, and the sheet cakes were so thick that we still had a bunch left over for ourselves! We can’t recommend Honeybee Pastries enough!!

I highly recommend Honey Bee pastries for your wedding or other event requiring a delicious and beautiful cake. From the start, Jenya made clear communication with us, and she made the tasting process very easy. Then, she ensured we had our flavors and the look of the cake picked. As our event got closer, she checked in with us and kept in constant communication. She delivered our cake on time and much more beautiful and tasty than we imagined!

Andrew and Jenya have mastered making their cakes taste amazing, but also look absolutely gorgeous. We ordered cupcakes and a small cutting cake from them and both were phenomenal! We had to downsize our wedding due to Covid, but we kept our original cupcake quantity and there were only a few leftover because our guests enjoyed them that much! We really appreciate Andrew and Jenya working with us and being flexible through our original date postponement. It was all worth the wait! We will definitely order from them again in the future and recommend them to friends and family.

Jenya was amazing! Our wedding cake was gorgeous, it tasted incredible, it was delivered on time, and we loved every bite! I also loved her flexibility to do take-home tastings during COVID (which turned out great for our kids-- we made it into a special event for them).

We loved our experience with Honey Bee Pastries, from beginning to end, it was seamless. The tasting was lovely, intimate and not rushed. Jenya and Andrew have a wonderful background to share, and you can taste it in their cakes! So SO GOOD. They were very eager to hear our ideas and make them a reality. They took care of everything, as far as delivering the cake to the venue and setting it all up. Rave reviews, from everyone, compliments ensued! Craving the cake as I type.

Jenya was so great to work with during our wedding planning. She has an amazing assortment for our tasting and was able to answer all of our questions. ALL of our dessert was eaten at our wedding from the cake, cupcakes and the pies! ALL GONE! I was actually worried I purchased too much since I feel I never eat cake at a wedding. Boy was I wrong! I could not have been happier with the service and the quality provided by Honey Bee. I would highly recommend and will use them again for any future professional cakes!

We didn’t do much shopping around for wedding cake bakers, because as soon as we found Honey Bee Pastries, we knew they were the one! Jenya is such a lovely person, and she made us feel so welcome in her home when we met her for a tasting. She offered us so many delicious options that we couldn’t decide which we liked best and ended up choosing two flavors. We also found the prices to be very reasonable. At the wedding we were so busy that didn’t even get to see our wedding cake until it came time to cut it, but when we finally did see it, we couldn’t believe how beautiful it was! And goodness, it was delicious too! They say a lot of people don’t end up eating the cake at weddings, but I caught a glimpse of our caterer bringing our extra slices because so many people were having some. Bottom line, if we had to do it over, we would absolutely go with Honey Bee Pastries again. We can’t recommend them enough!

I didn't really care about the cake - I was going to have a small piece shoved into my face and that is all that I was going to eat.... that was until I did cake tasting with Honey Bee. We did 3 cake tastings in 1 day (highly recommend doing all in one day) and Honey Bee was by FAR the best tasting, best texture and freshest cake out of all 3. They do a European style cake with is not overly sweet and provides the right balance of cake to buttercream ratio. From the day we tasted the cakes to the day of the wedding, they provided excellent communication and provided assistance with how to decorate and how much cake we needed. Their prices were affordable, I made a change a few days before the wedding and they were able to accommodate, they delivered the cake on time and did a great job with the arrangement of the flowers and cake topper. EVERYONE at the wedding loved the cake - we had 3 different flavors and some people went back for seconds and thirds to try the different kinds.

Best cake I've ever had!!! Jenya and Andrew's cakes are so delicious that we couldn't decide on a single flavor and got two! (We did the almond with almond buttercream, and lemon chiffon with raspberry filling and buttercream.) Our guests loved both flavors so much that we had a ton of cake compliments at our wedding and even had several people ask the next day if there was more! Jenya is a consummate professional and is super responsive to emails and requests. The whole process was just super easy. Would HIGHLY recommend!

You need to use Honey Bee Pastries! They made our 3 tier wedding cake for 60 guests and is was significantly cheaper than other vendors. It turn out just like we wanted. The cake tasted exactly as it did at the tasting. She was very responsive via email. Who better to make a wedding cake than a local husband-wife duo?!

WOW! Jenya and Honey Bee Pastries are exceptional! She is extremely responsive and a creative genius. All of the cakes that we tasted at our initial meeting were so good that it was difficult to pick out our favorites. We showed her a picture of the cake that we wanted and she created a cake that was even better than we expected. All of our guests raved about how delicious the cake was. Jenya and Andrew know how to make a great cake. I was pretty picky with our baker dabbling in baking myself and I knew we wanted to support a local business. As soon as we tasted their cakes, I knew we had our decision. They run their business from their home but in a professional separate kitchen that is inspected annually for quality and they have pastry professional training. Not to mention our cake and cupcakes looked beautiful too. I'm still getting comments about how delicious our cake was. Support local and go with Honey Bee!

This is the most amazing cake vendor ever! Highest quality and won't break your budget. Jenya was very professional and great to work with. I gave her a picture of a cake from pinterest and she created something far superior than that: more detail and elegance than the original without straying from the design. The cake is beyond delicious: it's exquisite. Even my mom, who hates cake, loved it. The moisture and proportions are perfect. The flavors are unique and have mass appeal: a rare combination. The price was also great, even compared to cakes that aren't nearly as good.

We had the most beautiful wedding cake ever! Jenya was able to copy a cake I showed her on pinterest and she did a phenomenal job with the gum paste flowers! The best part was that our cake tasted great! I couldn't believe we had no leftovers! We will definitely go back and make a request for her to make us an anniversary cake for our one year anniversary. Her prices were amazing and she was very practical about it and helping you cut costs. I liked that she gave you updates on how your wedding cake baking/construction process was going. We definitely recommend her!
