Brooke and her team handled our wedding photos and video. All I can say is wow!! I can’t stop looking at our wedding photos and they bring us so much joy! Brooke is incredibly talented. She offers great coaching and guidance for those of us with less comfort being photographed. She is also cool, calm and organized - just what we needed on our busy wedding day! I cannot recommend her enough!

As a wedding coordinator who has been working with Brooke for years now, she's definitely a hands down favorite - not only are her photos absolutely stunning and timeless, Brooke is just a master at what she does. I found Honey Gem Creative on the Knot and knew that I wanted to work with her. Brooke seemed so genuine, and from our first phone conversation I knew she would be a good fit. After I initially booked her about 10 months out from our wedding, we didn’t have much communication but she was prompt if there were any questions I had. She worked with my planner on all logistics and absolutely blew us away. When she arrived on the wedding day, she went right to work to make sure all the photos we wanted were taken and was so gentle with our very rowdy wedding party. She captured the most beautiful photos but was also never in the way of the fun. She delivered around 60 photos in my initial preview gallery just days after the wedding. Brooke was truly an amazing vendor and I would hire her again.

Do yourself a favor and reach out to Honey Gem!! We worked with Brooke on our engagement shoot as well as our wedding day - and I'm not joking when I say we've looked at our wedding gallery every day since we got the sneak peeks. Our engagement photos came out stunningly and the wedding photos are nothing short of breath-taking. We feel like Brooke truly captured the joy and love we felt surrounding us! Plus, she and her team were phenomenal to work with - they were encouraging, lighthearted, and fun to be around, on top of being incredibly talented and skilled professionals. (I also loved that she uses digital + film photography, craft and traditional art processes are so important to me and the image quality of film is so soft and beautiful.) We will absolutely treasure these images for the rest of our lives.

Brooke did a fabulous job at our wedding! Brian hired Brooke before we were engaged, my mom drove Brooke 15 hours in a car to Colorado to be there for our secret engagement. I had no idea and it was the best surprise. Brooke’s attention to detail is unmatched, and I adored our proposal photos, and our engagement photos. Brooke shoots with film and digital, so the colors with film are second to none. She is 6’2, so if you’re tall like me, and worried about having a double chin or bag angle in photos, you don’t have to worry about that with Brooke. Since our engagement, Brooke has shot my bridal photos, and our Christmas card photos, as well as our wedding. I highly recommend HoneyGem Creative. The wedding was full sun and quite windy, so some photos people are squiting, or their dresses are blowing, and that cannot be helped, but the photos of the first look with my Dad are exceptionally special to me because he was having major surgery one month after the wedding, those photos are amazing. The first touch with my husband was captured perfectly. As a bride you don’t always get to see every detail come to fruition at the wedding, because you’re getting ready, etc. and Brooke captured each detail so amazingly well. Her style is bright and crisp, and I love it. We are waiting for our video from Brooke’s team, and cannot wait to relive the day over and over. Brooke is kind, talented, able to assert her authority during the wedding, and has great attention to detail.

Brooke was my wedding photographer for my wedding last weekend. She absolutely worked SO hard. From the moment she got there she was taking detail shots, grabbing bridesmaids, and getting everything set up. She listened to what I needed and made sure to get as many photos as she could with us and our guests. Something unique Brooke does is she also uses a film camera to capture special moments which is totally unheard of in today's world. The day after the wedding she stayed up late and sent me about 50 sneak peeks so I could start looking at my photos. She was totally on board with anything I needed and was quick to respond when I had any questions. Plus, the most important thing is that her photos are incredible. They will be cherished for the rest of my life and I am so glad I chose her to make my dreams come true!

We LOVE Brooke!! We found her on Instagram and were sold on her the second we hung up the phone after our initial consultation. Brooke provides individually tailored packages based on your needs, her photography is pure art, and she is SO sweet and wonderful to work with. She knows how to direct you to get the perfect shot, she knows how to work with large groups, she is the BEST! We did an engagement session with her and she sent over ideas of what to wear (wow, what?!) and these pictures turned out beautiful and we didn't think they could be topped. Brooke was an absolute godsend! She was like a best friend through the planning process, if I ever had doubts about a design or timeline she was always happy to help and provide useful insight with inspiration! The engagement and wedding photos Brooke took of my husband and I are amazing! We couldn’t be happier with how they all turned out. The way she captures the lighting in photos is stunning! We had great communication from the time we inquired about her availability, throughout our planning, up until our wedding day. She is wonderful with specifics from suggestions on what to wear for engagement pictures, where to take them, posing for pictures, wedding timeline, etc. We were definitely not the most comfortable starting out in front of the camera, and she made us feel so comfortable and natural. Brooke made all our photos fun and easy. She is so lovely to work with! I would honestly recommend booking with her to all our friends and family!

Choosing Brooke as our wedding photographer was hands down the easiest and best decision we made during the wedding planning process. Within the first five minutes of our FaceTime meet and greet, I knew I had found our photographer. Brooke was always SUPER fast to respond to any emails or text messages I sent her and delivered our photos well before our promised delivery date! We chose to do a package with her that included engagement photos and I HIGHLY recommend other brides do the same. Not only did we leave the engagement shoot with great pictures, we also got to know Brooke a little better and felt more comfortable taking her direction on our wedding day. My husband and I had very little experience posing for photos together but Brooke was incredibly patient and walked us through each picture (making adjustments and tweaks whenever necessary). The engagement photos turned out better than I could have ever hoped for and made for perfect save the dates. On the wedding day, I had 100% confidence in Brooke. She was so organized that it was almost as though we had a second wedding coordinator! I cannot emphasize enough how glad I was to have Brooke there -- throughout the day my coordinator would ask me questions like "Do you want us to dim the lights for the first dance?" or "Do you want to have your veil for your first look?" and I immediately responded with -- can you just ask Brooke? I'm comfortable doing whatever she thinks is best. THAT is the kind of trust I had in Brooke! By the wedding day, I had already spent enough time getting to know her and admiring her work, that I felt completely confident leaving all the little decisions in her capable hands. We now have 2 amazing albums of Brooke's beautiful work and I seriously want to have them all printed in hung in my house! Brooke captured so many little moments on our wedding day that we otherwise would have forgotten but thanks to her we will forever be able to cherish. If you are looking for your wedding photographer, you can stop your search now. There is no one more talented than Brooke!

AMAZING! We had Brooke do our wedding video. She did an amazing job! Our highlight film was put together so well. We love it! The flow, audio, music all amazing!! We also love having our ceremony and speech footage. I can be picky and Brooke was amazing to work with and very accommodating. She took time to understand exactly what I wanted and the final outcome blew me away! She is also very responsive and easy to communicate with. I very highly recommend Honey Gem Creative for videography!!

Brooke is amazing! She loves what she does and it shows! From the first email to the sneak peek...she we could not have been more pleased. She has an eye for detail and can make anyone look good. She goes out of her way to get every detail and shot that makes each aspect so special. She has a wonderful team that assisted her at the wedding. I cannot wait to see the actual photos and videos. The colors are amazing in her bridal & sneak peek pictures... she makes everything look romantic and beautiful. I can't imagine doing the wedding without her. I am giving Brooke five stars as she was absolutely a pleasure to talk with while I was searching for photographers. Someone else did I end up booking her for our date (you are a lucky gal!) but Brooke was extremely professional, giving me other suggestions in the photography community that she knew were similar in budget and style to her work. I would definitely hire her if I could!! Her photography and style is stunning.

We hired Brooke to do our engagement/wedding and she was simply nothing short of amazing. Her attention to detail is evident by the photographs, but her ability to manage the wedding day was like having a second wedding planner. She made sure that we ran as close to schedule as possible while also managing people a large wedding party. I have a very rowdy group of friends (and was stressed out myself that day). We are not an easy group to handle and she maintained an incredible level of professionalism in trying to deal with us. She never seemed frustrated and her ability to handle us took a burden off my shoulders. I appreciate everything she did for me and my wife that day (and leading up to that day) and would recommend her to anyone.

Brooke was AMAZING! She was a huge help to me prior to the wedding -- giving me a great breakdown of which photos we needed to accomplish at what times based on the natural lighting and time the sun would be setting. Frankly, I had originally tried to be frugal and we ended up adding additional time to our package per her suggestion and I AM SO GLAD WE DID. She was honestly a godsend! She was so professional and gave me, my husband, our families and bridal parties great direction. Without even seeing any of our photos yet, I can tell you I feel that we absolutely chose the right photographer.

From the moment we saw Honey Gem Creative’s wedding films we knew we wanted them to be our wedding videographer. It was the right decision and we are absolutely thrilled with all of our wedding films! Brooke is amazing - so lovely, kind and helpful! She was quick to reply and answer any questions or concerns. She and her assistant were so great and so discreet at the wedding that I didn’t even notice they were filming. The drone footage of the venue was something that really attracted us to the films. The day of our wedding it was too windy to fly the drone (we didn’t even know this at the time), but Brooke went back another day and captured the footage so we could have it for our video. Not only that but she captured great Audio. She truly went the extra mile, and we really appreciated it! The Films themselves are absolutely beautiful. They quality and lighting are fantastic and romantic. She captures all the scenery, details, facial expressions and special moments so effortlessly. We also opted to have music in our video background and Brooke’s song choices were perfect. It is a wonderful keepsake that we will forever cherish and love!

Brooke was absolutely fantastic. She was extremely professional in wrangling up the family and ensuring that everyone looked their best. She is extremely responsive communication-wise and honestly, her pictures are breathtakingly gorgeous. Brooke and team are worth every single penny - don’t hesitate to contract with her!

Brooke was so sweet and amazing to work with - she really took an interest in our big day and made us feel special vs. just another client. She took the time to get to know us and our style, she even created vision boards for us based on our conversations and what she thought we would like. She was flexible too, and rescheduled our engagement session when the weather wasn't cooperating but still squeezed us in for a quick mini session to get our save the dates out. Brooke and Perry the photographer and videographer were the highlight of my wedding day, not only were they easy to communicate with they worked with me to arrange the logistics for the day to make sure they could capture what was most important to us. My husband and i felt so comfortable on the wedding day, as some know hours of shooting can be tiresome and yet we had so much fun i didn't want to stop. You both truly went above and beyond for us and we don't know how to thank you more for making the wedding morning and night memorable. Brooke with Honey Gem Creative was the most incredible wedding photographer I could ever imagine hiring for my wedding day. To say she went above and beyond for our wedding would be an understatement. She is the kindest, most detail orientated wedding photographer I have ever met. She spent hours and hours perfecting our engagement shoot, my bridal pictures, and our wedding album. Her eye for lighting, details, and capturing the precious moments seriously can not be beat. Brooke was always there to answer wedding related questions: from the details of the table arrangements, suit colors, and anything else I had a question about, she was always there and quick to respond. The passion she has for her work clearly shines through each and every photo she takes and she takes care of her clients like they are her family. During our wedding we almost didn't even know she was there! Her and her team were so discrete during the ceremony, and made us all feel so comfortable during the group photos. She captured every moment I ever imagined for our wedding, and made every photo look like a dream. I can't imagine hiring anyone else for our wedding day. Brooke was truly a delight to work with, and I am so happy she is the person I will always have to thank when I look at my wedding photos for the rest of our lives.

Brooke paid so much attention to detail. In fact, she spent hours on my detail shots, and they came out so great! You can tell she has a passion for art. She also went around town and took some pictures that my husband and I want to blow up and frame some day. They are so good! She was very nice and easy to work with. The lighting her photos create is so wonderful and really captured how fun and exciting our event was.

This is a two-parter. We hired Brooke for our wedding back in 2017 and she legit rocked it. She worked with our schedule and did everything asked of her and what she was limited to. When it came to the church, she was polite and asked where she was able to stand, when she could shoot, and what to capture for us. She did a great job communicating with us throughout the entire process and we have her photos hanging up around our house and always look to them with great joy. Somehow she captured moments of us dancing and we never even noticed she was there. She captured special moments from the ceremony that we will always hold dear in our hearts. She captured everything perfectly and went above and beyond to make us feel like the stars of the show. So much so that we recommended her to our friends for a wedding this year. This is the part 2 of the review. I saw the negative review of her and I must say that it is very surprising to see a guest bother to leave a review on a photographer that was not there for them. I also had a Catholic wedding and she was VERY respectful of the moments she was supposed to be and captured very intimate moments that we will be able to relive for the rest of our lives. I highly disagree with everything the guest said in her review. She was doing her job and I was sitting in the back watching the whole thing and never once did I think she was distracting or acting like an airline traffic director. I had the pleasure of seeing some of the photos she did capture and they came out amazing. What I find very disturbing is that the guest who left the review seems to misplace her proper place in the review. Brooke is not there for her. Brooke is not there to cater to her needs. Brooke is not there to make sure the guests are enjoying everything without obstruction. Brooke had specific instructions and directions from the Bride and Groom and she executed it with perfection. It will be something the couple will remember for the rest of their lives and there is absolutely no way that her work took anything away from the ceremony. It was a gorgeous ceremony and I enjoyed every single moment of it. I heard zero complaints from any of the family members nor the guests that we were sitting with during the ceremony or afterwards at the dinner. Ironic that the couple has yet to leave a negative review, but a guest did. So to whomever ends up reading these reviews, please remember that the photographer is there to cater to YOUR needs, NOT your guests needs; and to that point, Brooke does AN AMAZING job. She was perfect for us, perfect for our friends (you can take that with a grain of salt since it is hearsay, but hey if "Sally G" can talk in parenthesis, I figure I must include one too so I am not left out), and I will continue to recommend her and I'm sure Emily and Michael will as well. Our family had no complaints about her, loved her photos, and I will be recommending her for future events for our family. I am sure I speak on behalf of many of her clients that they would highly recommend Brooke as well. Honey Gem is extremely professional and I would not be here to defend Brooke and her work if I did not think it was not warranted or if that 2-star review was blasphemous. (I had to throw a religious reference in there.)

This review is not based on the quality of photography, but on behavior of the photographer during the ceremony. I was a guest at a wedding photographed by Brooke. During most the ceremony Brooke could be seen moving about the front of the church. This was distracting, but understandable. However, what was unacceptable was her behavior during the vow exchange. Brooke and the videographer positioned themselves in the center isle, about midway down and started what looked like a discussion about their placement. It looked to me like they were trying to figure out who was going where when the bride and groom walked down the aisle. I was far enough away that I could not hear what they were saying, but the large hand gestures and body movements, were over-the-top. Brooke looked like she was an aircraft marshal on a tarmac (you know, the folks that guide airplanes down the runway). All she needed was yellow vest and orange flashlights. It was hugely distracting to all the guest sitting behind them. All this lasted nearly the entire time the vows were exchanged. If the solemnity of your wedding ceremony is important to you, my recommendation is that you explain this to the photographer. I imagine this is especially important to brides and grooms that have a religious ceremony.

Totally customizable and works with you, and really captures the vision of the couple. She finds ways to keep reminding you of the shoot by releasing photos on her social media (and always tagging us), and every family member we visit has already ordered prints from our engagement shoot and framed them before we arrive. :D <3 The wedding bridals and wedding day photos were even more amazing. We keep finding ourselves reliving every moment of it. I can't recommend Brooke/Honey Gem more highly. She is so great at capturing my our love.

Brooke was amazing on our special day! She captured all the fine details in such a beautiful and tasteful way. Brooke was very professional and her experience and knowledge for weddings shined through every step of the way. I was really happy with our portraits and these memories we will cherish forever.
