We found HoneyTrain when we saw them at one of our best friend's weddings, and at a friend's wedding prior to that. We initially started looking around Boston to see if there were ...
other bands we might like, but couldn't find a band with the same value and with the confidence in them as performers. We hired the 8 piece band, and had them as our ceremony music (guitarist and piano), and for cocktail hour (jazz trio). They killed everything! We received many compliments from guests after the reception that it was the best band they have seen at a wedding. We were so so happy.
We also requested to keep the music classic, staying as much as possible in the 60's, 70's and 80's. They delivered on that and the old folks danced all night! HoneyTrain was extremely easy to work with, and they were amazing on all fronts. We would highly recommend!!
We were lucky to have HoneyTrain play live music at our recent wedding in Maine! It was very easy to communicate with Jason beforehand, and the entire band was excellent and extrem...

Cannot recommend HoneyTrain enough! Everyone after our wedding was raving about them, us included. They kept the energy up, were so fun and sounded amazing. We loved how some band ...
members went into the crowd and played while everyone danced! They made the day extra special. Additionally, Jason was great to work with, responded fast and was very helpful figuring out logistics.
Honeytrain review
We received a recommendation to book Honeytrain for our wedding from a jeweler in downtown Falmouth who had used them for her own wedding. She told us, “If y...
ou’re having a wedding band, you HAVE to book Honeytrain!” So I reached out right away, and from the very beginning, we were so impressed.
Jason was incredibly kind during our initial phone call and took the time to answer all of our questions. Throughout the entire planning process, the band was attentive, accommodating, and so easy to work with. They let us customize the setlist with the songs we definitely wanted to hear, as well as songs we preferred not to have played, which made everything feel so personalized.
Not only are they affordable, but they are unbelievably talented. We decided to add a saxophone player for our cocktail hour at the last minute, and they happily accommodated the request. It added the perfect jazzy atmosphere and was such a great touch.
For the reception, we had the 7-piece band, and they absolutely rocked the house! Our wedding was at The Cape Club in Falmouth, and they were set up in the rotunda, which made for such an incredible atmosphere. From the moment guests entered, the energy was amazing. The female vocalist walked through the tables while everyone was being seated, which was such a fun surprise, and our wedding party and bride and groom introductions were so much fun. The MC also did an incredible job keeping everything flowing smoothly and announcing all of the dances and speeches.
Once the dance floor opened, it stayed completely packed the entire night. There were even people dancing who normally never dance! The music was so good, and there were so many people on the dance floor that guests were joking it was literally bouncing. The musicians were phenomenal, and every singer was incredibly talented.
Honeytrain truly made our wedding unforgettable—not just for us, but for our guests and even The Cape Club staff. We had so many people come up to us throughout the night and afterward asking how we found the band because they were that incredible.
If you’re looking for a wedding band that will keep your dance floor packed all night and leave your guests talking long after the wedding is over, book Honeytrain. Trust me—you won’t regret it!
I cannot say enough good things about Honey Train. Not only are they so incredibly talented, but they are incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and so personable. Working with Ja...
son through the planning process, he offered tips and advice for certain songs and ideas which helped us make our night flow smoothly while also making sure our visions came to life. We were lucky enough to meet Chris on our wedding night who checked in frequently to make sure we were all on the same page. Every single musician and vocalist were incredible and SO FUN! Joining the crowd and dancing with us making sure we were all dancing ALL of the time. BOOK HONEY TRAIN! They are incredible and I recommend their services to anyone and every one.
Honeytrain is simply the best. Their energy, talent, and expertise are unmatched. Booking Honeytrain will give you the confidence that your special day will be managed with care an...
d attention to detail. The team is always accessible, accommodating, and insightful. Our guests have all claimed that Honeytrain is the best wedding band they have ever seen and we could not agree more. Our dance floor was packed the entire night - it was truly a party and that was all thanks to Honeytrain leading the way. We had a musician play piano during the ceremony and a jazz trio for the cocktail hour - they brought and built the energy through the entire night. To any bride and groom on the hunt for a wedding band, book Honeytrain, we 10/10 recommend.
Honey Train was awesome awesome AWESOME! Take that load off your mind about people turning out on the dance floor and BOOK THEM! They brought the party the whole time and you could...
tell they were having just as much fun as the guests! Our wedding was three weeks ago and we’re still hearing compliments about them and people asking for their name to refer to their friends. People who “don’t dance” were dancing!! They were so fun but they were also so awesome to work with leading up, super responsive and as accommodating as possible! If you have a guest list that loves to sing and dance, we cannot recommend them enough!
Also, if you have it in your budget, you should add ‘The Captain’.

ng process, he shared great insights and was really enthusiastic to partner with us. The band had everyone dancing and brought the energy of a house party. They really read the room with what the crowd wanted and chose songs on the fly that met the mood! Many of our guests said they were the best wedding band they'd ever seen and we completely agree!
Honey Train was so talented and had such amazing energy at the wedding reception. They played tons of variety that got all of our guests on their feet! The groom's mom changed into...
hiking boots so she could dance longer, and an uncle who has trouble with mobility danced all night with his cane! It was a truly incredible dance party that upleveled the entire reception. The band was also incredibly prepared and professional as well. 10/10
Music was super important to us (father of the bride and groom are musicians) and we were blown away with Honey Train! Great communication leading up to our wedding, super easy to ...
work with, and they kept the party going with every set. They even allowed my dad and husband to play “My Girl” with them and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. They have an impressive song list and we’re willing to a learn a few songs that were not already regulars- and the band even got down on the dance floor with us at the end of the night and rocked some killer solos. Alicia was fantastic throughout the night, also as the emcee, and was super flexible with things we added (and subtracted) from our original run of show. Everyone has been raving about how amazing Honey Train as since our wedding and our only regret is that we live far away and can’t go see some of their live gigs around New England! We honestly can’t imagine a more talented group of true musicians and felt honored that they played for us!
We were given HoneyTrain by my parents and grandmother as a wedding gift. I personally was going to do a DJ to save money, but was happy about the present as I had heard from frien...
ds that bands make weddings a lot more fun!
I went into the wedding knowing the band had good reviews, but I was blown away! First, they knew how to get the crowd going and people danced all night! I put total trust in them with the song choices and they knocked it out of the park! People did not sit down!
We did the 3 piece jazz trio during cocktail hour (which I was not there for) and I was told by my guests that it was one of the highlights of the night! I was approached by MANY MANY guests that it was the best wedding band they'd ever seen and the most fun wedding they'd been to. The band definitely set the precedent for how the night was going to go. At one point the singer and sax came out onto the dancefloor to sing and dance with us! It was amazing!
Everything was so much fun because of the band. They kept it professional and gave us their honest opinions during our meetings and I greatly appreciated their thoughts and suggestions to make sure the night went smoothly. I could not recommend them more! Yes, bands are pricier than DJs but it is worth the investment. Book the band!
Honey Train absolutely crushed it! They brought the party and had every one of our guests out on the dance floor. The band was professional, gave prompt responses, and brought the ...
experience we wanted for our wedding. We're now weeks after the wedding, and "the band" is all our friends and family rave about. Thanks for giving us such a memorable experience and providing us with the soundtrack to our happiest day together!
From day one, I was set on having a band play at our wedding. I love flowers, decor, etc. but I was 100% okay with cutting costs wherever was needed in order to have a live band pl...
ay on our special day, and will forever be grateful I did!
As I began researching "local" bands, that may work for what we were looking for, I stumbled upon Honey Train...and I am SO HAPPY I did! Our wedding was just shy of 2 months ago (3/18/2023), and we still have family and friends mentioning "how awesome the band was," and how much fun they had at our wedding because of Honey Train.
For our big day, we went with the 7 piece band, and are so thankful we did...the energy was unbelievable. One of my bridesmaids came up to be during the night and said, "this is the first wedding I have ever been too where there were people dancing BEFORE dinner service!" Another one of our guests thanked us and told us this was the first time in 20 years that she was able to get her husband on the dance floor with her! I also just ran into a friend this week and she said, "At future weddings, I think I may be a bit of a snob because I don't think I will ever really enjoy myself at a wedding where there ISN'T a live band...and your band (Honey Train) set the bar so high!"
From day one of the planning process, Jason & Liv + the whole Honey Train crew, took the stress of the wedding music out of the picture. They are experienced professionals who know the wedding industry and made everything on the day of go so smoothly. We also are extremely grateful for Alicia, lead female vocalist and MC, who was patient but also efficient with organizing our large bridal party for introductions, toasts, etc.
We truly cannot thank Honey Train enough for being such an important part of our wedding day, and for making the celebration one that we will never forget!

om the moment we started communicating with Honeytrain, I knew we picked the best wedding band around. The entire process was efficient, professional, and everyone involved with the band made us feel at ease. I've always felt that a wedding isn't complete without a live band but it's hard to ensure that a live band will meet expectations. Simply put, Honeytrain exceeded our highest expectations in every possible way. It was a dream come true and I would recommend them to anyone.

r party. Honey Train made sure the entire day ran smoothly. They set the mood for each phase, from the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, to the reception. Their mc-ing was flawless; they knew exactly what was scheduled for when, and would make brilliant suggestions on changes when they read the crowd in the moment, always making sure we were happy. They were the highlight of the event. The music was so much fun, we just couldn't stop dancing. Now I know, Honey Train is the most important vendor for your wedding!

Honeytrain exceeded all of our expectations as our wedding band! We hired them for our original wedding date in May 2020, which was postponed to May 2022 due to COVID. Throughout t...
his very long process, Honeytrain was responsive, easy to work with, and accommodating to scheduling changes. A few months prior to the wedding, Honeytrain asked us to fill out a detailed survey that included our specific musical tastes, special dance song requests, and details about the wedding day. The week of our wedding, Honeytrain (specifically Jason) arranged a detailed phone meeting with us during which we reviewed the survey contents and the schedule for our reception. We found this meeting to be extremely helpful, and it reassured us that things were going to go smoothly on our wedding day. When our wedding day finally arrived, everything went exactly as we had discussed. The band did a fantastic job keeping our guests on the dance floor throughout the night, and they even surprised us with some new (and very popular) songs that weren't on their set list. Jason also checked in with us during the reception to make sure we were happy with how things were going and asked if we wanted them to make any changes to the music selection (which we didn't because they were doing a great job without our input!). So many of our guests came up to us to tell us how much they loved the band, which is exactly what we were hoping for!
In addition to rocking our reception, the band provided acoustic music for our wedding ceremony and a microphone for our officiant, and we were very happy with these services.
Overall, we are so happy that we hired Honeytrain to play at our wedding. They truly were the talk of our wedding among our guests! And from our standpoint, they really helped to make things seamless on our wedding day, which allowed us to relax and enjoy the experience (and dance all night!). We cannot recommend Honeytrain highly enough!!
The Buzz (part of Honeytrain Music Services) was a great choice for our wedding band! They were very communicative throughout our planning (even as it was rescheduled twice due to ...
the pandemic), and guided us through the decisions we needed to make and choosing from their large song list. Their sets were wonderful and had everyone on their feet, and the band played perfectly for our memorable first dance.

ly… and it sure did! They played all of the songs we planned for perfectly and the additional songs were amazing & fun. Every single person at our wedding was dancing the entire time to the point where the barn floor was LITERALLY shaking and moving. They are thoughtful, energetic and a group of truly talented musicians.

ayed at our ceremony, cocktail hour and our entire reception! I never left the dance floor all night and all our guests said they were so sore the next day from dancing so much- and one guest even broke her shoe, you know that’s a damn good band! They played off the vibe of the crowd and never had the dance floor empty. Don’t look any further, book with Honey Train if you want an epic party!

oney Train soloist play acoustic guitar for our ceremony, their jazz trio for our cocktail hour, and the full band for our reception. They absolutely killed it! They did a great job of incorporating the music my husband and I like, while also reading the room and keeping the energy up. We were a little worried about having our first dance song and parent dance songs played live, because you never really know what they will sound like, but Honey Train played them all sooo beautifully, and they were even kind enough to edit the lyrics of our first dance song to be less explicit (for the grandmas :)). They kept our dance floor full they entire time and our guests are still talking about how incredible they were, weeks later! We couldn't be happier with our experience. Thank you, Honey Train!

from 2020 to 2021. They do a great job "reading the crowd" in terms of music selection and style. For us, that meant keeping up with a raucous dancing crowd.
We recently hired Honey Train for our wedding up in Maine. Given COVID, it was tough to get out and listen to a band in person, but Honey Train had such a great selection of songs ...
on their website that it was really easy to listen to them and get an idea of their vibe. They were super helpful throughout the entire planning process and very flexible given the distance from the Boston area. They really helped to walk us through day of structure and song choices. For music during the band's breaks, we sent them a Spotify playlist and they tailored it based on the songs they were already planning on performing. They really minimized the thinking on our end, which we greatly appreciated.
Once they started playing, they absolutely crushed it! We received so many compliments from guests saying how great the music was. They kept everyone going on the dance floor all night and their energy never let up. They even stuck around after the wedding to play at the After Party, which so many people said was one of the best parts of the wedding. We would highly recommend them as a wedding band! You will not be dissapointed!
We give infinite stars for this band- HONEY TRAIN IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!! We hired them as our wedding band it was definitely one of the best decisions we made! They played hit ...
after hit and kept the dance floor packed all night long! Over a week later and our guests are still raving about them and all the fun they had! We got married in a hotel and even guests from the hotel kept poking their head in asking what band was playing, and even a few who asked to come in and join in on all of the fun! They completely exceeded all of our expectations and we couldn’t be more happy with our experience! They also completely crushed learning/playing our first dance which was my most favorite memory of the night!! Jason and Liv were a pleasure to work with and were very responsive throughout the whole planning process! I can’t recommend Honey Train enough!
HoneyTrain was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! Jason and Liv are so professional, responsive, and easy to work with. On the night of our wedding, HoneyTrain ...
had the dance floor PACKED! Everyone was up and dancing throughout the entire night. HoneyTrain knows how to "read the room" so well, and created a set list for us that was full of songs we requested and also had a mix of songs that they threw in and knew would create the perfect balance. It is now three weeks after our wedding and people are still asking us who our band was and complimenting how great they were. They are talented musicians, awesome people, and really know how to bring the party to life! We are so glad we found HoneyTrain for our big day and would recommend them to anyone!
My husband was a music & sound engineering major in college, so we went through about 15 bands before finding Honey Train Music Services, and they were more than worth the search! ...
From incredible communication, planning questionnaires, and meetings leading up to our wedding day to a reception that was truly more than we could have imagined, Honey Train absolutely killed it! Our guests have absolutely raved about our wedding band, and my husband and I spent all night on the dance floor. If you’re looking for a wedding band, look no further! Go with Honey Train, you won’t regret it!!

r sound system set up, we barely had to be involved. They played for our ceremony as well as our reception and every moment went perfectly – a wonderful mix of flexibility, professionalism, and great musical talent.
The only downside was communication leading up to the event. We had to book over a year in advance (not a problem) but the band handles a lot of gigs, so we didn't ever have a clean and consistent line of communication with the band. All that aside, when time came for them to show up and perform, nothing else mattered – they made for an amazing party.

ong at the wedding reception was played, and every step along the way was a fantastic experience. Jason and Liv were incredibly accommodating and responsive throughout the entire planning process. They were so thoughtful and kind and made sure that no detail went unnoticed. We booked Honey Train for our ceremony and reception and are so glad we did! Once the day finally arrived we were blown away by the musical talent of the band! They were absolutely fantastic - as professional as they were fun! During the reception almost every single one of our guests complimented the band and how fantastic they were! Do yourself a favor and book Honey Train for your wedding or special event- you (and your guests) will be so happy you did!

s totally impressed with their involvement and contribution to a fun and meaningful wedding. With their permission, I'd be willing to field a reference call if anybody considering them wants to know more.
In summary, I give them an excellent on all the following dimensions.
1. Versatility of playlist -- they can cover anything, classic and current rock, to R&B, soul, pop....and classical. They love being challenged.
2. Professional accomplishment/expertise of each player -- everyone of them is a pro and love entertaining.
3. Audience sensing/real time read for song selection and duration -- they know when a song and a vibe is working, and when to move to the next tune
4. Responsiveness to bride and groom song request list -- they were very receptive to covering and learning key songs that were requested (especially when we got to Pearl Jam)
5. Open arm inclusion of wedding party hobbyist musician (as the father of the groom, they had me join ton stage for a couple of numbers, and we even did a rehearsal first)
Again, Jason, Joya and the rest of the band put it over the top for my son and first daughter-in-law.

the process. Band Manager Jason was organized, helpful, and flexible in the project management aspect of planning, and even gave us lots of good suggestions on how to use the space since they had played there before. Vocalist Joya was amazing, both her outstanding vocal skills but also in MC'ing the whole reception. The ceremony piano and cocktail hour jazz trio were beautiful; the MC'ing of toasts, guest flow, and A/V setup were all super smooth; and most importantly they played a PHENOMENAL set that had people on the dance floor all night long. We received endless compliments from all the guests afterwards on how awesome HoneyTrain was, and the set was the perfect mix of tempo, music style, and all with maximum energy. Our only regret is that our venue wouldn't let us stick around and keep them playing for longer!! We had a lot of things to worry about throughout the course of wedding planning and on the day-of, but HoneyTrain was a dream from start to finish. I can't recommend them highly enough!

brought is unparalleled. The dance floor was PACKED the entire wedding, which was all we could have asked for. I wish I could give Honey Train 100 stars!

er responsive leading up to the wedding, and really took note of our preferences. The band was great to deal with on wedding day - very nice, chill, professional, and flexible. The solo keyboard player was fantastic during the ceremony; he also coordinated a duet with a family member who sang a song during the ceremony. Honeytrain performed like pros, playing songs across the musical spectrum, keeping in mind our preferences, and keeping the dance floor moving. We had over 200 guests at an outdoor tented wedding, and the band really tied the night together, from the formal pieces (intros, special songs, toasts, etc.) all the way through to the encore - which was amazing. Honeytrain brings their own flavor, and stands out from the typical, generic wedding bands. We highly recommend Honeytrain!
Our experience with Honey Train was amazing, from the day we met them until our wedding. We heard about them through friends, saw them play at a bar in Boston, and knew right away ...
that they would be perfect for our wedding. They were very accommodating to our special requests for the schedule, having no problem with deviating from their usual plan. The setlist was amazing, as were the playlists for their DJ sets between live sets. They were the life of our party, keeping everyone dancing from beginning to end. I will never forget Honey Train's role in our special day, and I hope to see them many times in the future.
From the initial conversation with the band to the final song, we could not have been happier with having Honey Train help us celebrate our wedding. We knew it was a good sign whe...
n one of our friends arrived at the cocktail reception and said, "wait - Honey Train is playing at this wedding?! NO WAY!"
From a planning standpoint, Jason was extremely flexible and responsive. He and the rest of the band did a great job of figuring out what music we were into and what songs we wanted to hear, while also providing their own input and playlist creativity. When the party was going so well and we decided to extend the reception, the band was more than happy to keep the music going. For that, we were extremely appreciative.
From a talent standpoint, we wanted a band that offered (1) a lot of options for instruments, (2) a jazz band feel for the cocktail reception, and (3) both male and female vocals. For those couples with similar interests, Honey Train is the perfect group to meet any and all of those interests.
Finally, we spoke with numerous bands during our wedding planning. Honey Train was far and away the most affordable group (in spite of the fact that their music was easily the most impressive out of any we'd heard leading up to our decision). We cannot recommend them enough.

er telling me that this is the best band they've ever heard at a wedding! The band was constantly interacting with the crowd and they kept everyone dancing the entire night. They had everyone dancing from the short dance set before dinner all the way to the very last song. One thing I love is how they can read the dance floor and subtly adjust the music based on the crowd that is out there. They were also so accommodating when my family members planned a few musical surprises for us and always made sure to check in with me to make sure I was okay with everything.
Jason is super communicative and I had no doubt they would be prompt, professional, and sound amazing on my wedding day!
