The solo keyboard player was fantastic during the ceremony; he also coordinated a duet with a family member who sang a song during the ceremony. Honeytrain performed like pros, playing songs across the musical spectrum, keeping in mind our preferences, and keeping the dance floor moving. We had over 200 guests at an outdoor tented wedding, and the band really tied the night together, from the formal pieces (intros, special songs, toasts, etc.) all the way through to the encore - which was amazing. Honeytrain brings their own flavor, and stands out from the typical, generic wedding bands. We highly recommend Honeytrain!

He and the rest of the band did a great job of figuring out what music we were into and what songs we wanted to hear, while also providing their own input and playlist creativity. When the party was going so well and we decided to extend the reception, the band was more than happy to keep the music going. For that, we were extremely appreciative. From a talent standpoint, we wanted a band that offered (1) a lot of options for instruments, (2) a jazz band feel for the cocktail reception, and (3) both male and female vocals. For those couples with similar interests, Honey Train is the perfect group to meet any and all of those interests. Finally, we spoke with numerous bands during our wedding planning. Honey Train was far and away the most affordable group (in spite of the fact that their music was easily the most impressive out of any we'd heard leading up to our decision). We cannot recommend them enough.

As a musician myself, it was very important that we have a great band at our wedding, since most of our guests were professional musicians and choreographers. Everyone kept raving about how great Honey Train was, and the dance floor was filled the entire night! Even my 62 year old mother was on the dance floor the whole evening, and she never dances! They also played for our ceremony and cocktail hour, which were both beautifully done. Never once did I worry about a thing with them, and their choices in fun but tasteful music were perfect! I wish I could do it all over again because they were so much fun.

I wanted great music no matter what, and after weeks of research I decided on Honey Train. And you know what?For our 90 person wedding, the dance floor was packed the ENTIRE NIGHT. Yes, both young and old were having a blast - and that was a huge and unexpected win. Plus, they learned our father daughter dance song with a few days notice - it was completely my fault, but when I asked, I expected a no, and instead they were completely accommodating in playing it live for us. You know a band is totally on it when the lead singer pops over to your table after a few songs to make sure the volume is absolutely perfect (aka not too loud for the grandparents). Honestly, we had so many compliments throughout the weekend - I expect anyone would want this awesome of an experience with their wedding band!

Each time they play the entire crowd is engaged, everyone is singing along and they play such a wide range of music that everyone listening is having a great time. There was do doubt that we needed this type of energy and talent at our wedding. They were very knowledgeable in helping us make decisions and guiding the flow of the evening. During cocktail hour we had the jazz trio preform and it set a beautiful backdrop to everyone mingling around. Following that, the full band completely blew the crowd away with their performance during our reception. The dance floor was packed the entire evening, the band was interacting with the crowd and the playlist represented us as a couple so well. They really worked hard to make sure they knew what we wanted to hear and to get a feel for the crowd early on so that they could keep the party going. Everyone from ages 5-65 was having a great time. At every point throughout the evening, everywhere I looked was a smile. Even now, over a month past my wedding I am still getting compliments on what a great band we had. They say that two things make up a good wedding, good food and good music. I have to say hands down that Honey Train provided GREAT music and they played a large part in making our wedding a blast and, a night we will always remember.

My family and I commented on how we didn't even notice, to which she said "that's because they did such a great job. You would have noticed if they hadn't done anything.” For the reception, Honey Train was terrific. They had the perfect mix of songs to keep everyone on the dance floor and their voices were amazing. Joya was such a sweetheart and made sure to run through everyone’s name pronunciation and the order of events one more time as things kicked off, and Jason was great in our call the week before the wedding. To top things off, at our post-wedding brunch the following day, just about everyone we spoke with mentioned how fabulous they thought the band was. We came to understand that they this extensive form was for the alignment of the band with our wished and to put it to a document / checklist. He made every effort to understand our tastes and tweak their set list to match, as well as making us comfortable with the timing of our first dance song so we wouldn't embarrass ourselves... Jason was very helpful and flexible in the planning process and helped us think through the day with some great advice. We had rehearsed our first dance, and they matched the timing of the album version perfectly. They interacted with the crowd on the dance floor. Joya did a great job with the flow of the introductions to the speeches and cake cutting. They were super professional but really did keep the party going. The quality and variety of the music was so good, and just cool. They took the time to understand what we liked as far as music, but we felt comfortable just letting them do their thing. The next day my mom was like "I just didn't want them to stop playing!" We couldn't have asked for a better band.

We checked out another band or two who were good, but Honey Train stood out to us for their musicianship, each of them is a master at their craft, and it shows on every song.

We had asked Honey Train to learn a unique version of Your Song for our first dance and the version they delivered was perfect. Joya did such an amazing job by learning the version we had asked but at the same time putting her own personal spin on it. It really was perfect. Our guests stayed on the dance floor the entire night. Multiple people had told us that it was the most fun that they had ever had at a wedding and that is due in large part to Honey Train. I think my mom may follow them as a groupie whenever they play locally. They played all the songs we had asked for and organized it in such a way that it flowed perfectly. They even interacted with the crowd with the sax player getting on the floor and jumping rope while still playing, it was definitely a talking point of the wedding. Jason was also a pleasure to work with, taking plenty of time to make sure he understood what kind of music we did and did not want at our wedding. Other bands we spoke with did not seem to want our input when it came to song selection - they would all tell us that they "knew what they were doing" and "not to worry." We felt very comfortable that Jason really understood our style and would be on-point with what we and our guests wanted to hear. They were also extremely flexible when it came to the schedule for the evening when our reception started later than originally planned, and we were grateful when they agreed to play for an extra half hour. They quickly adjusted the number of breaks they planned to take and once they got the party on track, it did not stop. The band even allowed my husband and I to sing a duet during one of their breaks, which we greatly appreciated. Our guests were on the dance floor all night long thanks to Honey Train's awesome variety of songs - there was something for every person at our wedding. Music is one of the most important aspects of our lives, and our wedding was no exception. Honey Train did not disappoint - in fact, they delivered above and beyond our expectations. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a fun, high-energy wedding band who is also committed to customizing the experience as much as possible.
