Honeymoon Bakery did a beautiful job on the wedding cake. They have almost any combination of cake flavor and icing someone could want. The cake we had at the wedding was absolutely delicious. I wish I could have the cake we created all the time.

This was the vendor my husband and I were supposed to have for our wedding at Hightower Falls, but after several excruciating emails we decided to go elsewhere. Unfortunately, whoever I communicated with was confrontational from the very beginning and seemed unwilling to explain why they couldn’t do certain types of frosting, flavors, designs,etc. It was a massive disappointment because we were so excited to work with them, but after the last email they sent with multiple personal insults towards me we just decided to go elsewhere. Publix was able to to do the exact cake I wanted from the beginning and they explained to me why certain options would be better than others and I was happy they offered an alternative for frosting types. I just wanted it to look like a tree stump, but I guess that got lost in translation. I was really disappointed and I still am not sure why the person I communicated with started insulting me out of the blue. I asked if we could talk over the phone and when they’d be available since I had a feeling there was a misunderstanding, but sadly the only response I got was more insults and passive aggression. I personally didn’t want to have to fight my vendor for a simple cake to happen especially since I was willing to stretch the budget if needed. Overall my experience was very disappointing because I did want to work with the bakery, just not the person I communicated with.

We got so many comments on our wedding cake! We were able to send them a picture of what we were imagining for our cake and they made it happen! They are difficult to get in touch with- no way to leave a voicemail, so you have to email which usually took multiple days to a week to get a response. They don't provide complimentary tastings- you have to order 6 inch mini cakes to take home and try. The first one is free and then they are $6-7 each after that. Not a bad deal, but if you don't like the flavor then you are stuck with a 6inch cake.

I have been buying baked goods from Honeymoon since 2009 and was beyond excited to get to use them for my wedding cakes. Honeymoon created my mini 2020 COVID wedding, 2021 grooms cake and 2021 bridal cake. The Honeymoon Bakery team is amazing and consistently provides the best cakes I have ever had.

Kate was a pleasure to work with. I sent her multiple photos of different cakes, and she gave me quotes for each of them, helping us to decide which cake to go with. She delivered the cake to our wedding location, and it was absolutely delicious. Cannot say enough good things about honeymoon bakery!

We ordered 300 mini cupcakes from Honeymoon bakery last year for our wedding. They were delicious and very easy to pick up. Honeymoon bakery was professional and on time!

Absolutely amazing. I grew up getting sweet treats from Honeymoon everytime we traveled to visit extended family or friends in Rome. When it came time to choose a bakery, I knew I wanted Honeymoon but was worried about the price because how could something so good be affordable. Let's just say I was SHOCKED! Honeymoon was able to give me exactly what I wanted and then some for under my budget. Kate was amazing to work with and extremely accommodating. Since we are not from Rome, we scheduled a time, paid by phone and were able to pick up our tasting cakes to share at home. I had a few odd requests that did not follow the traditional cake flavors offered at the storefront but Kate nailed it. We ordered two cakes - one 8in for cutting and one 6in to serve as the "groom's cake." They were beautiful and simple just as I hoped for! Kate nailed the design based on a few Pinterest pictures and my florist topped them with a few flowers. For the guests, we served six different flavors of cupcakes. They were an absolute hit. I have NEVER in my life seen people clear a cake table at a wedding and ours were GONE! We stuck with the traditional flavors offered of strawberry, carrot cake and peanut butter (Reese's). Then, we had our odd requests of funfetti (also used for the wedding cake), cookies and cream (chocolate cake with an oreo crumble buttercream) and chocolate chip (groom's cake - white cake with mini chocolate chips in the cake and a milk chocolate buttercream). It was everything we could have hoped for! Kate was amazing in every way. Honeymoon even offered to deliver to Newnan, which was two hours from Rome! (Yes, with delivery it was still well under budget!) We could not have been happier with our choice and will use Honeymoon for many years to come!

BEST CAKE EVER! Not only was the cake beautiful but it was delicious. I've never been to a wedding where there was NO cake left over! I promise we didn't under order either! Kate delivered the cake herself. That may sound like no big deal but our venue was at a private residence in Atlanta and she came from the bakery in Rome, 1.5 hours away! She was fantastic in working with our caterer to make sure that the cake was set up in it's proper spot. Honeymoon has always been a favorite spot when we visit Rome and now it will hold a place in our hearts forever!

Honeymoon Bakery exceeded all my expectations with my wedding cake! I was so impressed! Kate is absolutely amazing- what meant the most to me was the fact that she took the time to meet with me and answered every single question I had. She is incredibly talented and knowledgeable and helped me choose the perfect cake! I had her make a surprise groom cake and it was phenomenal! We also did some cookies and brownies and they were to die for. I cannot say enough good things about how delicious everything was and how great the service was. You will not regret getting a cake (or really anything, for that matter) from Honeymoon Bakery!

You need to hire them! Honeymoon created a beautiful dessert bar and centerpiece cake for our wedding day and WOW it was delicious! Our tasting was delightfully easy and super fun! Kate was a breeze to work with and handled all of the intricate details for our order effortlessly. They delivered all of the desserts and set up the dessert bar for us! It was stunning and SUPER delicious! They have very competitive prices and create beautiful desserts!

Our wedding cake was truly unbelievable! Not only did the decoration of it surpass what we had envisioned, but everyone told us that they had never had a better cake (Italian Cream cake, cream cheese filling with almost buttercream frosting). It hurt to cut into the cake because it was so beautiful!

We never actually met Kate, but communicated many times via email. She took our ideas and made one gorgeous cake (the bride's) and one fun cake (the groom's). Both were delicious! We were able to taste the combinations we were considering ahead of time so we knew exactly what to expect. We were not disappointed! I would highly recommend Honeymoon Bakery for a wedding cake!

Highly recommend! I have used this bakery for years both personally and professionally. As a wedding planner, I work with brides on a regular basis, consistently referring them to Honeymoon Bakery. I am able to recommend in confidence due to every experience being on point, with a cake delivered as ordered, on time, with the rare combination of a beautiful cake that actually tastes amazing. Kate and her team go above and beyond to satisfy their customers and provide them with a quality product.

Honeymoon has awesome wedding cakes and they were great to work with. However, be very specific on what you want the outer frosting of your cake to be. We asked for their cream cheese frosting on the inside and outside of our entire wedding cake.... and we got a super sweet vanilla buttercream on the outside (with cream cheese as the filling.)

Love Honeymoon Bakery! Most weddings I have been to I have never really enjoyed the cake. This cake is delicious! I was sold after our tasting where they generously gave us several small cakes to take home and try. I loved how my wedding cake turned out and I wouldn't change a thing.

My cakes were absolutely fabulous! I wanted to go with multiple round cakes in many different flavors. Kate helped guide us on what flavors were best and most popular. The cakes tasted fantastic and we got many compliments on them. Additionally, we did a all-chocolate groom's cake that was to die for. They were reasonable priced since they weren't too complicated, and we picked them up ourselves because our venue was on the other side of Atlanta, and everything went perfectly! Worth the drive to go get these cakes, they are fantastic.

Kate couldn't have been more amazing to work with. To this day, a month after my wedding, my favorite part of wedding planning was meeting with Kate and tasting cakes (priorities). I got a simple two tiered cake, a groom's cake, and a sheet cake. The top of the two tiered cake as well as the sheet cake was Italian Creme with alternating raspberry and cream cheese in the layers. The bottom tier of the wedding cake was marble. The outside of the whole cake was vanilla buttercream. It was then covered with berries. The groom's cake was decorated with the Red Sox logo, and it was chocolate with chocolate mousse filling. The outside was vanilla buttercream. Not only were these cakes amazing to eat, but they were also beautiful to look at. I was so unbelievably happy with Honeymoon Bakery!

First I must start by saying all of the cakes and sweets that are cooked up at Honeymoon Bakery are incredible! Kate did an excellent job meeting with us to pick the perfect design and kind of cake. It was more than reasonably priced and we got so many compliments on our cake! Plus, it was stunning! I would highly recommend Kate and her team!

I have received countless compliments on my cake. It was a squared three tiered with white caramel buttercream icing with apple cake filling. Delicious and beautiful. It had a broach in the middle and lavender roses and white hydrangeas on top. Kate was phenom to work with!

Everyone at the wedding reception commented on these cakes being the best wedding cakes they have ever tasted! So they are definitely not only beautiful, but absolutely delicious!

Kate is such a pleasure to work with. I was busy working full time and had a hard time making it to appointments during the day. She did all my requests by phone or email and even made all our samples and had them ready for me to pick up and take home for a tasting. She took the picture of the cake we wanted and re-created it perfectly!

YUM!! We got our wedding cake and grooms cake from Honeymoon, and all of it was delicious! The red velvet is my favorite of the cake flavors, but everything we tried and bought was wonderful. The design of the bridal cake was nice too; we got a monogram and it looked really good. We ordered mini cupcakes for the grooms cake and they were the perfect size to pick up for a small treat and also really affordable. Good stuff!
