your guest has asked at the last minute if they can bring their 1 year old to your adult-only wedding, Carter is that person who assures you they will take care of it. She helped me laugh through the stress and craziness! I honestly wanted a wedding coordinator so that I would have someone to set up the candles - I never knew all the other details that Carter would take care of. When we were overwhelmed in the planning process with our vendors, she stepped in and asked the questions we never thought of, and stood up for us when some vendors were being a bit pushy/unclear. As details came up, Carter kept us organized and focused on what was really important. The day of the wedding I did nothing except relax and celebrate one of the happiest days of my life - everything went perfectly smoothly and everyone had just the absolutely most fantastic time! There is so much planning and details that go into a wedding, especially as we rented a large house for the weekend to gather everyone, and we could not have done that without Carter’s support. It is so clear that Carter loves what she does, she thrives in the little details and offers the perfect suggestion when needed, without overstepping. My family and friends loved getting to know her and found her so sweet, which is always an added bonus when someone is pretty much running your wedding day!

the first on scene and did her absolute best to fix them (all out of her control - I hired a few vendors I wish I hadn’t). If I could change anything about her service it would be that I had done her Partial Planning package and not the Month of Coordination. If we’d had her wisdom and support from the start I know that we would have had the perfect vendor selections. Her attention to detail was outstanding and her checklist allowed us to make sure all bases were covered for our DIY wedding. You can tell she truly loves what she does.

On the day of our wedding, Carter made a point to make us feel special as she dressed up to match our space themed wedding, and it was a pleasure to see her caring about our shit. We were able to actually enjoy our wedding because she took care of so much the day before and the day of: she packed a lot of our wedding up towards the end of the evening and even sent us a video of her boxing a lot of our stuff. ek, to make sure we were on track, on the same page and work out every detail to plan. She was attentive to our vision and was able to add in details to tie in the finishing touches we didn’t know we wanted.
From checking off the smallest to-do and managing day of events, Carter kept us on track, our nerves calm and allowed us to focus on what was truly important for our special day.
We were able to be fully present with each other and our guests as Carter had the full run of the venue running smoothly like clockwork!
I remember watching Carter bring our venue to life as the minutes flew by. She never seemed rushed, frazzled or skipped a beat to trouble shot any little hiccup that came up.
Seeing how calm and collected she remained, we knew we were in the right hands and had nothing to worry about.

Each call I had with her was organized with a purpose and agenda. She’d always check in to see how I was doing and if I seemed stressed she’d insist to take on anything that would help alleviate some stressors. Multiple other vendors would, without prompt, tell me how amazing and communicative Carter was. If anything went wrong on the day of the wedding I would’ve had 0 clue about it. I’m grateful to say I actually got to enjoy the day.
She was the real MVP and truly a wonderful resource to have through the wedding process.

point I realized how much running around I would end up doing day of (and the night before) and decided it was worth the money. And trust me when I say, it was.
I didn't have to worry about the little details, I was able to relax and know that Carter had everything taken care of. The decor being set up, and even making sure I had a snack after the ceremony while signing the wedding license.
The week leading up to the wedding we had hour-ish long phone calls that squared away all the details and plans for decor. Any questions were answered within minutes. The communication between us and the vendors was always clear and concise, and we never didn't know what was going on, but also didn't need to stress about it.
All in all, if you're looking for a wedding planner in the Tahoe Area, you can't go wrong with Honeysuckle Traditions.

had, had connections to other things that we didnt have yet and even had amazing ideas that were affordable and had contacts to help with everything. She handled all our calls, emails and issues and only reached out to us if necessary. She made the last few weeks so much easier and stress free!
Then was the day of the wedding! She was there early, helping set everything up and make sure my wife and I only had to worry about ourselves. From the very beginning of the day to the very end she was in control and kept things moving along even as we were completely distracted. The day was perfect in every way and we owe it all to Carter and her amazing party planning skills and contacts.

r of the Bride felt the same. Both of us are single moms and yet we were able to relax and enjoy. Carter is the consummate professional. She brings years of experience from managing some of the largest and most noted wedding venues on the Central Coast. It doesn't matter what size the wedding or event, she knows how to orchestrate it all. This wedding was a micro wedding (26 in all including the bridal party), yet all the big traditional wedding elements were part of the day. There were a lot of spinning plates and some interesting family dynamics as well. Carter handled it all with grace, calm and ease. She really became part of the family. Carter has great suggestions and she takes care of every little detail from setting up to decorating to tearing down and everything in between. She really kept the vision of what the bride and groom wanted. I can't recommend her enough. I'd hire her for any event, wedding or not. What a gift Carter is to anyone planning a wedding. Without a doubt, she made the day perfect!

I was honestly scared all my emailing and questions would scare her away but she always replied without fail. She'd always answer in a timely fashion and was always willing to help. She was so organized - contacted all the vendors and followed up with me on anything I had missed. She was on top of it, which I really appreciated. On the day of I couldn't have asked for a more calm and organized coordinator to help the day go smoothly. Carter was the best and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding planner/coordinator.

I could not recommend a nicer, more caring person to support you during the most chaotic time in your life. Carter provides great resources and ideas throughout the entire process. If COVID wasn't stressful enough, the first rain of the season ended up aligning with our wedding day as well! But Carter was in constant communication with us through the days leading up to the wedding as well as the actual day to help come up with mitigation plans and keep us sane while navigating the uncertainty. She made every complicated moment seem effortless and exciting, and I don't think you could ask for much more on your special day. 10 out of 10 Carter is your girl. No question about it.
