Hoogasian Flowers

ned our first daughter's wedding. We had ordered flowers from Hoogasian for many occasions over the previous 15 years, and had always been thrilled by the results. Based on this history, we called Larry when we were struggling to find a florist who could meet our daughter's wishes for contemporary arrangements of varying sizes, some in mercury glass containers , on each of the tables during the reception, simple flowers on the aisle chairs during the ceremony, my wish for beautiful, warm flowers on the chuppah, in the entry hall, and for the reception, and our daughter's very specific requests for the bouquets and bouttonierres. Larry listened carefully to all of our wishes, and exceeded our dreams in every respect. Nothing could have prepared us for the exquisite artwork in flowers which Larry created for our daughter's wedding. Larry designed the most beautiful flowers that I've ever seen in my entire life! He made our special day absolutely gorgeous. Each one of his creations was the most extraordinary I've ever seen. The bouquets were exquisite, incorporated every detail that we requested, and were even more beautiful than we could have dreamed. The same was true of the chuppah; it was the most beautiful chuppah we’d ever witnessed. We loved Larry's aisle flowers, flower girl's pomander kissing ball, the boutonnieres, wrist corsages, lovely flowers in the entry urns, on the small tables inside, on the cake, and the gorgeous array of floral arrangements on every table. Larry turned a cold sculpture gallery into a warm, inviting, sumptuous, beautiful destination in which to celebrate love. The flowers he delivered to our home the next day were breathtaking. They extended our celebration and joy. We really struggled over finding a florist who could create designs that would please all of our decision-makers and work within our budget, and we are incredibly grateful that our search brought us back to Larry and Harold Hoogasian. Larry listened patiently, he cared, he sought out the freshest and most beautiful flowers, and he employed his talent and artistic skills to create the embodiment of joy and love. Hoogasian florists is simply the best. Now I can add this update, 7 years later, after our second daughter was married last weekend, and Larry, Harold and the rest of their incredible team knocked it out of the park, once again! We are so very grateful to Larry, Harold, and their entire team at Hoogasian Florists for making our second daughter’s wedding day so incredibly beautiful! Larry’s professional talent is unsurpassed (and he has photos in his office of flowers he provided for the Pope and the Grateful Dead, to prove it), yet he is as humble, kind and “it’s all about you, not about me” as a person could possibly be. Larry is a caring listener, and wants your flowers to be exactly the enactment of your vision. I can say without hesitation, after 22 years of working with Larry for all of our floral needs, that he nails it every time! He’s not flashy, he doesn’t have a fancy website or storefront, and his prices are remarkably reasonable given the incredibly high quality of his work. He simply exceeds our biggest dreams every time, and has always been a joy with whom to partner for any project.
