nce floor was never empty. Brian Crist with Hoosier DJ did an excellent job of making sure that we never worried about the music. We let him know our must-haves, and he was able to do this with ease and then some. He was able to read the crowd and play the most appropriate songs that kept the party going. Unfortunately, we had severe weather on our wedding day, but you would have never known by the way our guests were dancing and Brian’s commitment to our receiption. Our wedding guests are still raving about how well our DJ did. We highly recommend Hoosier DJ to anyone.

ked our guests for their favorite request on their RSVPs so we filled in quite a few songs the DJ could have to choose from. Those were the majority of the songs and since they had been requests, they worked well with our group. However, the "logistical" parts of our wedding (cake cutting, first dance, toasts, etc) left much to be desired. We had been told we would be called the Wednesday prior to the wedding to go over details and were never called until 8pm the night before the wedding. When I tried to call back the next day because I was in the middle of the rehearsal and didn't see the call until midnight, there was no answer. Therefore, the DJ met with my mom quickly before the reception started to go over names and the exact timing of those "logistical" parts of the evening. Everything went fine but we felt that those things were very rushed and not timed well. For example, the toasts were being announced before he realized if our toasters were even in the room at the moment. Also, the garter toss was being announced before he had even announced the garter retrieval. Nothing was so blatantly messed up that most of our guests even noticed as badly as my husband and I did and for the most part, the evening went smoothly. I just would have preferred to have more conversations leading up to the day to iron out all those details.
