What started in 2004 as a small team of hair and makeup professionals has grown into a collective of beauty maestros dedicated to making clients look and feel their best on their most important days. Amanda Hopcraft launched the first-of-its-kind, on-location hair and makeup operation in St. Augustine, Florida. By 2016, she and her growing team expanded into Georgia, Upstate New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and beyond.
The Hopcraft Collective is now made up of more than 20 makeup and hair specialists who go above and beyond to make their clients' dreams come true.

roughout the planning process, they were responsive, thoughtful, flexible, and genuinely kind—and that same care carried through the preview and the wedding day itself.
Because I rarely wear makeup and usually keep my hair in a bun or braid, I was nervous about having both done professionally for my wedding. It was also important to me that the products be cruelty-free and free of animal products (and animal by-products when possible). Amanda listened carefully and went above and beyond to ensure I felt completely comfortable with every product and every part of the plan. She was also a joy to be around: warm, friendly, easy to talk to, and deeply receptive to feedback.
I had my hair and makeup preview with Amanda the day before the wedding, and I highly recommend it. It gave us time to collaborate on the wedding-day look, and I was even able to enjoy the trial style (which was different from the wedding-day style) at our welcome gathering.
I told Amanda that I wanted to feel like myself on my wedding day—just elevated. I wanted something natural, polished, and never too bold or exaggerated. She understood exactly what I meant. On the day itself, I felt special and stunning while still feeling entirely like me.
Amanda and Jodie, her associate, were equally wonderful with my bridal party and family. The group ranged in age from 9 to 79, and they created looks for each person that felt fresh, fun, and beautifully suited to the individual.

One major thing I appreciated about Amanda and her team was that they actually listened. I have been in several weddings with several local beauty service providers and I never felt like they listened; I felt that either I was cornered into specific looks that I did not like and shamed when I would speak up about my preferences. The Hopcraft team took their time to give all of my bridal party looks that were unique to their preferences but cohesive as a group. Everyone left thrilled with their glam.

My hairstylist was Sarah and she was incredible. She did hair for 9 girls and completely rocked it. Everyone was raving about their hair. She dealt with my wedding day stress so tactfully and calmed my nerves when I was feeling a little overwhelmed. My hair came out even better then my trial and I am so grateful to have worked with Sarah.

Then I changed AGAIN both my hair and makeup styles for the day of. I sent inspo photos for myself and from the other girls getting styled day of, and they had looked them over and were well prepared. Everyone was so sweet to work with and we all felt beautiful! She takes the time to really understand your skin and hair to make you look your very best. She even taught me tons about how to do my own make up and tips on skin care. Not only is Amanda fantastic but so is every member of her team. My girls and I all looked and felt amazing both times that Amanda took care of us. Amanda did an excellent job with makeup while Sarah did an excellent job with hair for me, bridesmaids, mother, mother-n-law, sister-n-law, and nana. Both listened to each persons needs and made getting ready feel like a day with the girls. Not like I was paying them to be there, but that they truly wanted to be and getting paid was a bonus. They were on time and finished on time, making the transition from chair to alter flawless. If you need hair and makeup done for an event, I highly suggest hiring this company to do so.
