I worked with Amanda for my wedding in Manchester VT in August. First of all, the hair and makeup were perfect. It was such a collaborative process and I felt gorgeous! I opted for...
a more natural look, and her handwork was light but effective! Thank you, Amanda!
Working with Amanda was a dream. She was TRULY a delight to work with. Calm, flexible, and professional (but not cold). She went above and beyond, helping us with photos and assisting with dress hiccups. Amanda has so much experience and it really comes through in the way she just helps out.
One of the things that struck me about Amanda is how she won over everyone in my family/bridal party. We have some strong personalities (myself included) and everyone loved her “the most”!
I could not recommend Amanda any more highly.
Amanda and her team are unbelievably professional from start to finish! We had the most wonderful experience from the hair and makeup trial all the way to the big day. I’m not some...
one who wears a lot of makeup and was very concerned about looking natural and like myself and Amanda executed my vision perfectly. Her and her team are also so fun to be around and made our bridal suite so fun and lively! 10/10 would recommend them to anyone who’s looking for a fabulous experience!
I could NOT have asked for a better makeup artist than Amanda! She made my wedding so special and she feels apart of the family! We all highly highly HIGHLY recommend her!
Amanda and her team exceeded all of my expectations. I'm less comfortable with hair and makeup, but I wanted to look and feel great on my wedding day. Amanda made me feel comfortab...
le and heard the entire time. She's the person you want with you on your wedding day: fun, calm, professional, understanding, and incredibly talented at what she does!! I loved the way my looks turned out. If I could do it all again, I wouldn't change a thing. Put your trust in Amanda and her team; you won't be disappointed!!
My wedding planner suggested Hopcraft Collective for my Vermont wedding, and after working with them I understand why. Amanda and her team were exceptional from start to finish. Th...
roughout the planning process, they were responsive, thoughtful, flexible, and genuinely kind—and that same care carried through the preview and the wedding day itself.
Because I rarely wear makeup and usually keep my hair in a bun or braid, I was nervous about having both done professionally for my wedding. It was also important to me that the products be cruelty-free and free of animal products (and animal by-products when possible). Amanda listened carefully and went above and beyond to ensure I felt completely comfortable with every product and every part of the plan. She was also a joy to be around: warm, friendly, easy to talk to, and deeply receptive to feedback.
I had my hair and makeup preview with Amanda the day before the wedding, and I highly recommend it. It gave us time to collaborate on the wedding-day look, and I was even able to enjoy the trial style (which was different from the wedding-day style) at our welcome gathering.
I told Amanda that I wanted to feel like myself on my wedding day—just elevated. I wanted something natural, polished, and never too bold or exaggerated. She understood exactly what I meant. On the day itself, I felt special and stunning while still feeling entirely like me.
Amanda and Jodie, her associate, were equally wonderful with my bridal party and family. The group ranged in age from 9 to 79, and they created looks for each person that felt fresh, fun, and beautifully suited to the individual.
I would hire Hopcraft Collective again in a heartbeat and recommend them without hesitation to any bride looking for exceptional wedding hair and makeup.
There was never a question about who I wanted by my side for my wedding day - Amanda has been doing my hair and makeup for countless occasions over the last decade plus, so when it...
came time for my destination wedding in Italy, bringing her along was an easy decision.
As much as I've always loved her work, this time was truly exceptional. I have never felt more beautiful in my life.
Amanda and the Hopcraft Collective team traveled all the way to Tuscany and took care of myself and several family members for our welcome party, then 12 of our family on our wedding day. Every single person looked absolutely stunning, and each look felt elevated while still making everyone feel like the best version of themselves.
If you’ve ever traveled to Europe, you know that air conditioning is simply not the same. Doing hair and makeup services in warm spaces with a large group is not ideal, but they made it work! Our outdoor ceremony was held in the summer sun & heat, followed by hours of celebrating well into the night, and our hair and makeup still looked incredible. That alone speaks to the quality of their work and the products they use.
Beyond their talent, Amanda and her team brought such a calming, fun energy to the week. I truly could not have been happier with my decision, and I cannot wait to see and share even more of our professional photos.
Thank you, Amanda, for making me feel so confident, beautiful, and completely myself on the most important day of my life. You are simply the best! ❤️

ess. They truly listened to what everyone wanted, made the whole morning feel fun and stress free, and made everyone feel beautiful and confident. Their positive energy and attention to detail did not go unnoticed, and I am so grateful for all of their hard work in helping make our wedding day so special!
My hair and makeup for my wedding was absolutely gorgeous. Even with a slight bit of rain, it didn't ruin the look and my hair and makeup was flawless all night. Thank you so much,...

life even more beautifully than I could have imagined. I felt so, so beautiful and that feeling is priceless on your wedding day.
The entire morning was calm, joyful, and incredibly relaxing. She has the most perfect space for getting ready, comfortable, beautiful, and ideal for everyone to be together. My bridesmaids and family all looked stunning, and we genuinely had so much fun laughing and spending the morning together.
One thing that meant so much to me was that she even came to do touch-ups later - simply out of the goodness of her heart because it was SO windy during our photos. That level of care and attention made such a difference and shows how deeply she cares about her brides.
Everything was perfect. I would recommend Amanda a thousand times over to any bride who wants to feel beautiful, relaxed, and completely taken care of on their wedding day.

ing exactly what I wanted—even when I was feeling totally indecisive about my hair and makeup look. She listened patiently, offered thoughtful suggestions, and created a vision that was better than anything I could have imagined. On the wedding day itself, she nailed it perfectly: timeless, elegant, and completely me. My makeup looked flawless from the morning through the late-night dancing, and my hair stayed picture-perfect all day long.
What truly elevated the experience was how Amanda and her entire team treated my bridal party. Every bridesmaid (and even the moms!) walked away feeling like a million bucks—their hair and makeup were stunning, personalized, and cohesive without feeling cookie-cutter. The team was professional, warm, fun, and so efficient that the getting-ready process felt relaxed and joyful instead of stressful. They truly made us all feel special and beautiful on one of the most important days of our lives.
If you’re looking for luxury bridal hair and makeup that combines artistry, attention to detail, and genuine care, Hopcraft Collective is the absolute best. Amanda is not just talented—she’s a dream to work with. Thank you, Amanda and team, for making my wedding day even more unforgettable! I would give 10 stars if I could.

on her website and Hopcraft Collective knows how to work on all hair types (curl power girl here)! She is such a personable person, so it made it easy for me to open up. I am more of a slick hair back with gel, no make up kind of person, so I was hesitant, but knew I wanted to be a natural princess for my wedding day. When we did the hair and makeup run through, a friend accompanied me and provided Amanda with input. Amanda did not mind answering questions or receiving input from me or my friend. During the trial run 2.5 months prior to, the day before and the day of the wedding, Amanda was a constant encourager and provided honest input. Wedding day, she was with me getting ready, first look pics, wedding party pre-ceremony pics, after ceremony pics, pre-reception entry, dress change out, hair shift to updo…she was there making sure hair and make up were on point…having her present at all those key points made a huge difference!! Because of her ability to make me feel comfortable in things that were not normal for me, on my wedding day, I felt like a true princess!! Had I not listened to Amanda’s feedback and trusted her expertise, I know I would have been disappointed in myself for not heeding someone with her abilities. I am so happy with what she delivered, so yes, I highly recommend Hopcraft Collective!

dations for my style. Her attention to detail with my updo was beyond what I expected. We had rainy weather, but I didn't worry about my hair or makeup all day! I'm a makeup minimalist and she was able to create a look that followed my personal style while helping my features pop in photos. She will make you feel beautiful!!

5 wedding. Amanda is so personable and professional and put me at ease when other vendors only seemed to increase my anxiety around the big day. She not only helped me curate the perfect look for my big day but helped to set honest and realistic expectations so that on my wedding day myself and my bridal party all felt beautiful.
One major thing I appreciated about Amanda and her team was that they actually listened. I have been in several weddings with several local beauty service providers and I never felt like they listened; I felt that either I was cornered into specific looks that I did not like and shamed when I would speak up about my preferences. The Hopcraft team took their time to give all of my bridal party looks that were unique to their preferences but cohesive as a group. Everyone left thrilled with their glam.
I would 10000% recommend Hopcraft Collective to any bride, or groom, searching for their wedding day beauty. Booking them, in my opinion, was one of the best decisions I made in my wedding planning process.

very interaction. The team took the time to understand my vision and seamlessly brought it to life — enhancing my natural features while ensuring I still felt completely like myself.
On the wedding day, the Hopcraft team created a calm, elegant atmosphere that set the tone for the entire morning. Every member of our bridal party looked exquisite, with hair and makeup that lasted beautifully through tears, laughter, and hours on the dance floor. Their work photographs flawlessly, yet remains soft, timeless, and effortless in person.
I felt radiant, confident, and truly pampered — exactly how every bride should feel on her wedding day. Hopcraft Collective exceeded every expectation and was one of the best investments I made for our celebration. I cannot recommend their team highly enough to any bride seeking luxury artistry and a seamless, elevated experience.
I have nothing but high praise to sing for Amanda and her team. We brought them in to do hair and make up for 10 of us on my wedding morning and they did the best job on ALL 10! I'...
ve never been a part of a group in which not 1 person was in the bathroom afterwards changing things about their hair or make up.
Something else that makes her team so spectacular is their expertise; if you sit down in the chair with questions or some indecisiveness, they'll offer you up great advice and steer you in the right direction. I could not recommend Hopcraft Collective more as the absolutely delivered. Their services are an investment but all your people looking and feeling their best is 100% worth the investment!

ked with Cheri for hair and Makena for makeup. Both were amazing! They both worked with us so well to find the perfect styles for our big day. They were super receptive to any feedback and continued to work through our trials to ensure we were confident with our day-of looks. Could not recommend more! We also had Jenna help out with all bridal party hair and makeup and she helped execute everyone's looks seamlessly. I don't doubt that anyone you work with at Hopcraft will deliver fantastic looks fort your wedding day. Thank you!

ully after we got rained on a little. We also did a trial beforehand, which I highly recommend; that’s when I realized I’d need extra hair extensions, and I’m so glad we figured that out in advance.
On the wedding day, she did my hair and makeup, plus hair and/or makeup for my mom, matron of honor, two bridesmaids, and my mother-in-law. Everyone’s hair came out amazing, and they all loved their looks. She kept us on schedule, worked seamlessly through a big group, and stayed professional throughout.
What really stood out is how flexible she was — she traveled from out of state and even made time for me during a tight tasting weekend when no one else could. She made me feel confident, beautiful, and completely at ease on such an important day. Highly recommend to other brides!
I highly recommend Hopcraft Collective for your wedding hair and makeup! From working with Amanda for my initial booking, working on scheduling and details with Tayla, and working ...
with Jodi and Cherie for my trial and big day, everyone was professional, so nice, and very talented. Jodi executed my natural elevated makeup look perfectly and did an amazing job covering up some redness that I get insecure about. And Cherie gave me the perfect low bun with some front pieces that stayed secure through pictures, ceremony, a post ceremony boat ride, reception, and after party. Over 12 hours! Thank you Jodi and Cherie for helping me feel so beautiful on my wedding day

She made the entire process seamless — from early communications to the trial to the day before and day of — and truly felt like family by the time the weekend had ended. take an entire team of highly skilled and talented individuals, but the Hopcraft Collective Team went above and beyond. Everyone absolutely loved their hair and makeup, and no one looked caked on or fake, but more so an elevated version of themselves, which was amazing! Amanda was incredibly flexible with the trial, and the day of, my makeup wasn't running even a little bit, and my hair looked perfect (somehow) the entire day, so much so that I only took a body shower to save my hair for the following day's brunch! With a wedding party as huge as mine was, I was expecting pure chaos the day of, but each of my bridesmaids came away from hair or makeup with a huge smile on their faces, and a new appreciation of the member of the Hopcraft Collective team assisting them. The whole team was incredible, and I am very grateful for the Hopcraft Collective for making our day so effortless and special.

ctive. It gave me and my bridal party a private, spacious area to get ready with a beautiful view, tons of space to make ourselves comfortable, and lots of amenities to ensure we had an easy morning leading up to the wedding. Awesome natural light, bathroom right down the hall, and just a bunch of little things like music, refreshments, coolers, paper goods for snacking, and more that made me LOVE having chosen to get ready here.
Amanda and Mallory are absolute queens and we do not deserve them.
I wanted long Viking fairy braids but came across some challenges and maybe second thoughts of “is it too much?...
”. Amanda was going to allow me to sell myself short. She found the hair spent an entire day and probably night treating the hair to suit me. I feel like a goddess after she was done with me. My bridal party was a group of six she made them all look and feel incredible. Amanda and Mallory didn’t need to follow us to the Lightner after leaving their suite but they did it anyway to ensure I looked my best. They ready did go above and beyond. Amanda texted me back every time I was having an existential about what I should do with my hair and she made all my hair / make up dreams come true.
Thank you both for making me, my mom, and bridal party look amazing!

ready in was beautiful and spacious and she provided non-alcoholic beverages which made planning/bringing everything a breeze. I highly recommend Amanda and her team for any hair/makeup needs.
The weekend before the wedding I also treated my bridesmaids and moms to a lipstick making class that Amanda offers. This was a cute and unique non-drink based outing that we all really enjoyed.

d they nailed it during my trail - no edits! For my hair, I was particular on how I wanted my hair to sit for a half up, half down up do and Megan stayed and edited it during the trial until it was perfect. Overall, they were easy to work with, professional, on top of things and very quick to respond. I highly recommend them for your wedding or any special event!

t married in Southern Vermont at Okemo in mid October 2024. They were on time, so friendly and absolutely nailed the looks my party of 6 was looking for - from bride to bridesmaids to mothers to flower girl. I wasn’t able to do a trial ahead of time since I live across the country but was immediately put at ease once Ashley and Jodi started working on me.
It was really important to me to still look like myself on my wedding day, and Jodi and Ashley absolutely understood the assignment. They glammed me up but I still felt naturally myself. When they say they specialize in natural looks, they aren’t lying. Thank you SO much Jodi, Ashley and Amanda!!

ofessional, and did a wonderful job. What’s even better is I had changed my mind about how to do my hair and they really rolled with it! They always made sure to make me feel comfortable speaking my mind and giving honest feedback so that I was satisfied when it came time to walk down the aisle. I typically don’t wear makeup at all and wanted a clean, fresh look. The makeup felt so weightless and looked beautiful. It photographed really well too! I have to give a shoutout to Tayla who did my makeup because her work made me feel like I was just myself and really awesome! Tayla was also great at keeping in touch before the big day and that made it so easy to trust her and the team. I can’t say enough good things. Thank you!
