What started in 2004 as a small team of hair and makeup professionals has grown into a collective of beauty maestros dedicated to making clients look and feel their best on their most important days. Amanda Hopcraft launched the first-of-its-kind, on-location hair and makeup operation in St. Augustine, Florida. By 2016, she and her growing team expanded into Georgia, Upstate New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and beyond.
The Hopcraft Collective is now made up of more than 20 makeup and hair specialists who go above and beyond to make their clients' dreams come true.

I am more of a slick hair back with gel, no make up kind of person, so I was hesitant, but knew I wanted to be a natural princess for my wedding day. When we did the hair and makeup run through, a friend accompanied me and provided Amanda with input. Amanda did not mind answering questions or receiving input from me or my friend. During the trial run 2.5 months prior to, the day before and the day of the wedding, Amanda was a constant encourager and provided honest input. Wedding day, she was with me getting ready, first look pics, wedding party pre-ceremony pics, after ceremony pics, pre-reception entry, dress change out, hair shift to updo…she was there making sure hair and make up were on point…having her present at all those key points made a huge difference!! Because of her ability to make me feel comfortable in things that were not normal for me, on my wedding day, I felt like a true princess!! Had I not listened to Amanda’s feedback and trusted her expertise, I know I would have been disappointed in myself for not heeding someone with her abilities. She not only helped me curate the perfect look for my big day but helped to set honest and realistic expectations so that on my wedding day myself and my bridal party all felt beautiful.
One major thing I appreciated about Amanda and her team was that they actually listened. I have been in several weddings with several local beauty service providers and I never felt like they listened; I felt that either I was cornered into specific looks that I did not like and shamed when I would speak up about my preferences. The Hopcraft team took their time to give all of my bridal party looks that were unique to their preferences but cohesive as a group. Everyone left thrilled with their glam.

Amanda and her team were very organized, professional, and communicative. Sarah, my hair stylist, was not only a pleasure to work with, but was so talented and helpful! At my trial, she gave me some tips for things I could do ahead of the wedding to make sure my hair looked its best. And then the day of the wedding, my bridal party was so impressed with her skills and professionalism. I think everyone wanted a different style, and Sarah executed them all beautifully. She even satisfied my mother, who didn’t really know what she wanted and needed some tweaks before she was happy with a style. And I think Sarah still ended up finishing ahead of schedule! My hair looked exactly the way I wanted it to, and it stayed looking beautiful all day, despite some very misty air on a rainy day (usually my hair is pretty quick to frizz in conditions like that).
