Hope is nothing short of excellent - not only was the quality of her work amazing, the process leading up to our wedding was easy, streamlined, and so low stress. Working with Hope...
as our photographer was truly the easiest part of wedding planning. I am lucky to have known Hope since college, and have followed her career as a photographer for years - I even knew I wanted her as my wedding photographer before I met my husband! She and Max captured our day with such grace, joy and efficiency, a tough combination to find! The photos are such a beautiful blend of her artistic style, but she also made sure to capture the portraits we knew we would want in the long term, but were less excited to pose for. She and Max captured every emotion of the day, and my whole family laughed and cried all over again looking through the completed album. We can't thank her enough!!
We truly loved working with Hope and Max. Worth every penny for the incredible photos that we will absolutely cherish. They were a delight to work with from start to finish.
Hope Allison was the perfect photographer for our wedding! She did such an amazing job from coordinating beforehand to capturing every single moment during the big day. We are so t...
hankful we had the opportunity to work with her and we would recommend her to anyone planning a wedding in the New England area. She is incredibly talented and an absolute pleasure to work with!
I could never put into words how amazing Hope and her husband Max are. I have followed Hope on instagram for years before our wedding and it was an absolute dream getting to work w...
ith her for both our engagement shoot and our wedding. To begin with, Hope and Max are the kindest souls and bring so much peace to any moment with them, including awkward engagement shoot feels where you don't know what you're doing. It truly feels like you're with friends and your biggest cheerleader. In the chaos of your wedding day, it's important to have people and vendors like that surrounding you. The added bonus is that the photos that Hope takes are a work of art. She is so good at capturing raw moments and true emotions. I had full trust in her to capture my day in her own creative way - a way that in years to come, I'll be able to feel that very emotion that I was feeling on my wedding day. They have a way of being everywhere at the right time and were so helpful with advice while planning our wedding day. We upgraded to the Super 8 film as well and cannot wait to see that magic that Max makes. If you're reading this in hopes to get an idea of if you should hire them for your special day, and you're looking for someone who appreciates the true meaning of your wedding day and the emotion behind it, the answer is yes. No questions asked.
I simply don’t have the words to describe how amazing Hope is. From the start, she is so helpful in answering any questions you have and offering her advice - whether it’s lighting...
style for the venue, timeline or vendors. On the wedding day, as soon as she showed up she was an immediate calming presence, and I can’t thank her enough for that. And don’t even get me started on her work - absolutely gorgeous and stunning. We didn’t hire a videographer (wasn’t in our budget, unfortunately) but her photos alone told the story of how the day unfolded and showed the emotions. She captured it perfectly, all the guests kept coming up to us saying how she always seemed to be in the right place at the right time. And this couldn’t be more true - when we got our sneak peak photos a few days later we were crying. We simply cannot wait to see the rest of them! Thank you again so much Hope for capturing the day!
Hope not only captured our day perfectly but also helped with the organisation and flow of the wedding itself. When I couldn’t figure out how to get a sixpence coin to stay in my ...
shoe, Hope had double sided tape! When we were panicking about whether or not to move our ceremony inside because of expected rain, Hope calmly encouraged us to stay outside (best decision)! When our officiant forgot to ask everyone to be seated, Hope reminded them to do so. She made the day truly perfect! Hire her!
I cannot recommend Hope enough! She is attentive, personable, fun, professional, and talented.
I've always been extremely camera-shy. I hated being photographed and hated viewing ...
photos of myself -- but Hope made me feel incredibly comfortable from the beginning. Not only did she help me feel at ease through her easy demeanor but she fit in seamlessly with our wedding party. She helped me and my bridesmaids get ready, instructed us on how to cut the cake (tip: don't start at the top tier), and encouraged us to get married in the pouring rain (best decision ever). I wish we had grabbed some photos with her; that's how important she was to us on our big day!
And the photos. The photos! The Super 8 film! I have never felt more beautiful in my entire life. Hope perfectly captured the energy of the day. My husband and I are working to create a wedding album and we quickly hit the max photo limit. Instead of cutting back on photos, we've decided to create 2 albums because we want to have physical copies of every moment Hope captured.
Hope is hands down the best wedding investment we made. Hire her!
Working with Hope was a highlight of our wedding. From the beginning of the process, Hope was extremely professional, very responsive, and her planning guides put our minds at ease...
knowing she had all the details handled. On the actual day of our wedding, Hope and Max were such positive presences and truly put us at ease. We appreciated that they followed and captured the natural course of the day vs. spending a lot of time posing - this allowed my husband and I to totally relax before the ceremony and enjoy our quality time together. Now the PHOTOS: our wedding gallery is so unbelievably gorgeous. Hope captured every detail of the day with elegance and panache. Do not hesitate to book Hope Allison Photography if you are looking for 'wow factor' photos that will stand the age of time.
HIRE HOPE NOW!!!
I am not being dramatic when I say we had the BEST experience ever with Hope as our wedding photographer. She was responsive throughout the process and extremely ...
helpful with timeline creation. She listened to any preferences we had and was super flexible. Throughout the day she was a joy to be around and made us laugh the whole time. I hate getting my picture taken but she made me feel comfortable and at ease. Don't even get me started on how the pictures turned out!!!! My husband thought the preview shots she sent us (within 24 hours of our wedding ending mind you!!) were fake wedding images of models. THEY WERE THAT GOOD!! I can't say enough good things about her and her talent. If you are hesitant because of price (like I was) it is WELL worth it in the end. I am so thankful I booked Hope.
I am so glad we hired Hope as the photographer for our wedding. She did a great job and we absolutely loved the pictures. She was professional and very communicative leading up to ...
the wedding - something I really appreciated as an out-of-town bride. Hope really captured the day in the best way. I love that our pictures are so natural and candid. The staged pictures are great, but my favorites were the ones she snapped when we didn’t even realize she was shooting. Highly recommend!
I am SO HAPPY we hired Hope to be our photographer! Like many other 2020 couples, we had our plans change multiple times, but Hope didn't miss a beat - she even helped us come up w...
ith really creative solutions that worked for us even as our timing changed. But what I really want to gush about is how AMAZING and GORGEOUS our photos are. I'm so obsessed with them. We were both really nervous about being photographed, but she made it so comfortable, and captured our style so perfectly. Our pictures are so unique and beautiful. I definitely recommend Hope for other brides - you will not be disappointed!
Hope is hands down the best photographer! We hired Hope for our original 200+ person wedding then quickly went to about 50 people because of the pandemic. Throughout this whole yea...
r of planning/change of plans, Hope literally was our one constant and kept with us the whole time - even going to our new wedding spot and scoping out areas to take photos! Her photos were absolutely amazing and she got every shot we wanted and more. Our wedding was so intimate and special and Hope captured all of that in her work. We are so happy with all the photos and can’t wait to use you for future shoots! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a photographer! Thank you again!! Xoxo The Fennells

ould feel confident in. From her communication to easy-going nature to the way she made my husband and I feel in front of the camera, everything was amazing! And the pictures..... the lighting, angles and details in her shots are amazing!!! We can’t stop looking at the photos. I highly recommend Hope to capture your romantic moments! We hope to have Hope capture our future belated wedding reception!
Hope was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding! She was on board with our vision from the start and took the time to speak with me about the specific images I...
was hoping to capture throughout the day--when our plans changed due to COVID-19 Hope was flexible to adapt to our new plans and made the whole process stress free. She caught pictures throughout the day I didn't even know I wanted but now looking back, am so glad she was there! We've got numerous compliments that our photos look like they belong in a magazine which speaks to Hope's artistic and professional eye. We received our photos in just a few days and the website they are presented on is easy to share with family and friends. In addition to Hope's photo skills, she's an undeniably sweet and kind person, and made the entire experience a dream. Thanks Hope!!
I had the best, most joyful time taking photos with Hope. Not only is she a phenomenal artist, she is a total joy to work with. Our afternoon shoot was relaxed and fun, and all of ...
Hope's photos were indicative of my boyfriend and I's personalities--nothing felt forced or contrived! She's quick to respond to questions and requests, and delivered our photos extremely quickly. I would recommend Hope to anyone in need of a photographer :) Thanks, Hope!
I will start by saying I could write PAGES of praise for Hope and her photography, but will try to keep it brief. I am a relatively awkward and unphotogenic person, and so I usuall...
y hate having my photo taken. Hope not only instructed us clearly through every angle, but also put us completely at ease throughout the whole shoot(which made the pictures look very natural). We had a ton of fun shooting with her. And the photos themselves!! Oh my! Truly the most beautiful photos anyone has ever taken of us. Hope captured the moments and the light in ways I’ve never seen anyone do before. I am beyond grateful for her and her amazing talents. Would recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone looking for wedding photos or any other type of photo!!
Hope photographed George and me in early October of 2019. She chose a location with gorgeous fall colors in the Green Mountains, which made a perfect backdrop for our photos. It wa...
s late afternoon, and Hope worked with the long light in a beautiful way. We feel so lucky to have these photos as a snapshot in time.
Although neither of us had worked with a professional photographer before, she made us feel comfortable, and it was fun and easy to spend the afternoon outside taking photos. Hope gave very clear instructions, and you could really tell she knew what she was doing, both technically and artistically. Though she had a vision for our shoot, she let us give input as well, and didn’t mind snapping some silly pictures in addition to the more intentional photos.
Hope uploaded, edited, and curated our photos really quickly. We were surprised when only a day after our shoot we received a link to view and download our pictures.
Overall, we had a great first photo shoot experience. We would definitely work with Hope again, and would recommend her to anyone!

ons we had asked for, and her humor and joyful presence made the party that much better.
Something that we are particularly grateful for was her eye for the details and her initiative--when the sunset was making particularly beautiful light, she pulled Abagail and me away briefly to take advantage of the unexpected opportunity.
She went above and beyond to make sure we never forgot this wonderful day, and we couldn't have chosen better for our photography. Everyone should hire Hope!
