OH. MY. GOODNESS. The veil was perfect. It elevated the dress so much that I went from hating the dress and regretting having purchased it to remembering why I bought it and loving it again. I went from not wanting a veil to not being able to stop thinking about her veil. I went to a couple of other places to try on veils but none compared to the delicate way the hers framed my face and fell around my dress. I never thought I would be one of those traditional all-in-white brides, but this veil changed me and just felt right.
I ultimately didn't go with Alissa for my dress alterations. Her forte really is accessories and I didn't think, from her description of what she'd do to the dress, that it would be altered the way I envisioned. I did go back and buy that veil, though!
