Hope was an absolute dream to work with as our wedding photographer! The photos came out more beautiful than I could have ever imagined—they perfectly captured the essence and beauty of our special day. Every time I look at them, I’m transported back to the emotions, laughter, and love that filled the day. Everyone who has seen the photos can’t stop raving about how stunning they turned out! Hope’s incredible eye for detail and ability to capture raw emotion in every shot is truly unmatched. She not only highlighted the joy and connection of the day but also found amazing ways to incorporate the most breathtaking aspects of our venue into the photos. We couldn’t be happier to have chosen Hope as our photographer for our wedding day in July 2024 on Long Island, NY. The pictures are absolutely breathtaking and perfectly capture the essence of our special day. What truly stood out was Hope’s patience and professionalism— never intrusive, yet always present when needed. With a big (and loud) family, Hope brought such a kind and fun energy to the day, making the experience truly enjoyable and memorable for not only us, but our entire bridal party and family too. Hope provided us with selects just a few days after the wedding and our entire beautiful album just a few weeks following. We are incredibly grateful for Hope’s exceptional work and truly recommend her enough!!

We could not recommend Hope Helmuth Photography more! Hope's pictures speak for themselves - they are simply amazing and our wedding gallery was everything we could have asked for. Only a few short days after our wedding, Hope provided us with a sneak peak of 40+ photos - we were not expecting to get a preview so soon after the wedding and it was the BEST surprise. We were also able to order and mail out Thank You cards quicker using photos from the sneak peak. While it is easy to see how beautiful and artistic Hope's photos are from her portfolio, it was Hope's communication and kindness that makes her and her team one of our best vendor choices. For our engagement shoot, Hope helped us find the best spot for photos and used this time to get to know us and our style. The entire process was seamless end to end. When it came to our wedding day, Hope helped us complete our day-of timeline and had a check-in call with us to make sure she had a list of all of the family/friend photos we wanted to have. Hope and her team did an amazing job making sure we had photos with all of the people we wanted, on top of amazing candid photos. After the wedding, multiple told us how much they loved our photographer! Wedding planning can be difficult and stressful, but working with Hope made everything easier and never caused any additional stress. Hope's team combines amazing photographs with amazing communication and assistance. All of our photos were received within 2 months and we loved every single one! I would not hesitate to book with her!

Where do I begin?! I knew I wanted to hire Hope after browsing photos of our venue on Instagram. Her photography is so beautiful, natural and timeless which is exactly the vibe I was going for. From our initial phone call, Hope was so sweet and easy going. Her calm demeanor was icing on the cake since wedding planning is quite stressful! Hope was such a dream to work with and captured our engagement and wedding day perfectly. Our photos are literally stunning and everything I've dreamed of. Plus, her turnaround time is incredible! Hiring Hope was by far one of the best decisions I made for our wedding and I couldn't recommend her enough! HIRE HER. NOW.

We can't even begin to thank Hope for everything she has done for us over the last 2+ years! We initially spoke back in Winter of 2020 and I knew right away that just from speaking with her, we would be the most comfortable shooting with Hope on our big day! We planned an engagement shoot for OCNJ in August of 2021 after setting a wedding date of September 2022. Not only did Hope crush the engagement shoot, she was also willing to take family photos of my husbands side of the family, which everyone was so happy with! It was a perfect day and I was so happy with our photos and for our actual upcoming wedding weekend. Fast forward to wedding weekend, we had one of Hope's assistants shoot our rehearsal dinner (worth it to get more special photos from the weekend!) and the shots and details she got were just fantastic. You could feel the love in the room from her photos, which is captured in all of Hope's work and the team she has created. Hope and her second did our wedding day! Hope is kind, patient, made everyone feel comfortable and was always checking in on me to make sure we got all the shots I envisioned for the big day. Thank you, Hope! You are incredibly talented and have a true gift, we are so lucky to have had you a part of our big day! Our pictures are a dream - absolutely wonderful and help me relive that special day over and over. Book with Hope and team - you will NOT regret it, the best of the best!

Hope was fantastic from start to finish. I got married on 7.9 at The Hamilton Manor but she also photographed my rehearsal dinner! We received all of our edited photos (over 1300!) a few days ago. The turnaround time is incredible. She’s incredibly helpful, her editing is spectacular, and the photos turned out phenomenally! I’m obsessed with how everything turned out and I cannot recommend her enough!

I cannot express how much I enjoyed working with Hope. She was so kind, efficient, and an absolute pleasure to work with! This is supposed to be a review, but it might turn into a love letter. We hired Hope for our wedding back in January before we ended up having to postpone. Thankfully, Hope was able to move her contract with us to our new date. Then we decided we still wanted to be legally married in January in addition to our big postponed party in December. Thank goodness we were able to have Hope shoot both weddings.  I don’t know how to be chill about this: HOPE IS IT. She is talented beyond measure, kind and sweet as can be, and incredibly fun to work with. As soon as I found her website, I knew I had to book her. She was the very first vendor we booked, and she’s been on this long multi-wedding journey with us, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. She and her whole team have so much experience, boundless creativity and artistry, and they LOVE what they do. That’s the best part. It is so clear that Hope loves Love, and loves capturing it and showcasing it at its most beautiful and magical moments. That’s the word for Hope - Magic. Book her, and then be prepared to weep with joy when you see how well she captures your blissful magical day. And for everyone to talk about how amazing your photos are, constantly. Truly, and without a bit of hesitation, we recommend Hope 100% times infinity. Love you Hope!

From the start, Hope was responsive and kind. We had an original date in July 2020 and she let us postpone without any change in cost—she was so flexible. Day of, Hope was so much fun to work with and she's a machine! If you give her a list she will get EVERY shot and more! She's so efficient and talented... I can't believe the quality of our photos at that speed, it's wild. She was running around finding the light while we were on a clock to get it all done and enjoy some of our cocktail hour. Our photos are gorgeous and we have so much to choose from. So nice working with Hope and team! Amazing work :)

Hope is so wonderful. She is so talented and her photos will blow you away. She makes you feel very comfortable in front of the camera and takes the time to learn about you as a couple and brings that out in her photos. I truly will miss working with Hope. She is the best!!

This review is long overdue, I hired Hope for my Wedding in October of 2020 at the Lake Placid Lodge. She is very talented and captured my day so beautifully, I love my wedding photos and am so happy that I hired Hope. From our first phone call I knew Hope was right wedding photographer for me. She was responsive, knowledgeable, and personable. On my wedding day I was stressed, and Hope was a breath of calm and I was able to relax knowing that she knew what she was doing. My wedding photos turned out so amazing and they truly tell the story of the day. She captured some really special candid moments and also got all the photos I wanted. I love going through my wedding album and reliving the day. If you are thinking of booking Hope just do it! She is amazing and great at what she does. My one advice to brides, book Hope for longer than you think you need to!

There are not enough good things we could say about Hope. Her pictures were stunningly incredible, she was professional but still fun, she was easy to be around and helped us feel less awkward as we took all of our pictures, her second shooters were great, and she helped us navigate the craziness of the pandemic. If you’re considering hope, hire her immediately! You will not be disappointed. Thanks hope for capturing both of our days so well!!

One word: AMAZING. Hope has such a great eye, and can always catch the perfect lighting behind any photo. We used Hope for our engagement shoot in June 2019, and we were obsessed with all the photos. She stuck with us through our May 2020 postponement, and was super supportive, reaching out to see how she can help us in any way, and recently she just photographed our wedding on January 30th, 2021. She made taking photos in the freezing cold, fun and bearable! She is such a sweet person inside and out and we loved working with her! Her assistant Anna was also great, and super sweet, and we love the shots she was able to take of the groomsman getting ready. Hope and her team are extremely professional, and we received our sneak peak photos a few days ago and cannot wait to receive the rest of the photos from our wedding since every single photo from the sneak peak was BEAUTIFUL!

I was supposed to have a destination wedding in Italy and I knew that I could count on Hope Helmuth Photography to provide a flawless experience. I couldn't have been more excited to have snagged the most talented photographer in the Northeast and have her come all the way to Italy to capture my special day. My plans changed many times due to COVID but Hope and her team were so flexible and SO accommodating and provided support however I needed it, guiding me with their endless expertise of everything wedding. Hope Helmuth Photography is absolutely priceless. Hope herself and the wonderful photographers she collaborates with are true artists and their work is impeccable. Everything about Hope's style of photography is effortless, light, romantic, and pure. I have never looked at myself the way I do when I look at her photos. I truly felt beautiful. The emotions are tangible in every single shot. They captured our day in the most beautiful way and have given us memories that will last forever. I recommend her to anyone, not just brides. Her skill is impeccable and her art is timeless.

I cannot say enough about Hope and her team. First of all - I was a COVID bride, meaning Hope was with me for a venue shift, drastically reduced number of guests, timing shifts, and even me somewhat spontaneously leaving my "getting ready party" the morning of my wedding for me to see my dad in the hospital. Hope reassured me throughout the entire process (lead up and day-of) and checked in with me to ensure everything I needed was being captured, just in case I forgot to pre-include in my shot list. Hope had the first batch of photos to me what felt like nearly instantaneously, with the rest of the gorgeous album following weeks later. Hope's professionalism, kindness, "calm and cool" demeanor helped this COVID bride in so many ways, but most importantly, she made me comfortable knowing she had this very big part of my day, fully covered. And boy was she right! My groom and I couldn't be happier with our final products.

Hope has photographed many couples we know and we are in constant awe of her talent and artistic ability. She is professional, timely and patient. Although Hope was not my wedding photographer, I had the pleasure of working with her on a shoot. I am beyond thrilled with her work. I put my heart into designing a styled shoot, and thanks to her, it truly came to life. Every picture was stunning. Hope is an angel goddess in photographer form. She was my photographer for my November wedding, and I can’t say enough about the quality of her work and her professionalism on the big day. My husband and I were a little nervous when it came to our wedding photos, since neither of us are huge “picture people.” I was so amazed at Hope’s ability to put the both of us at ease in order to capture our wedding day perfectly. I mean, I was there, and the photographs make it look even more amazing than I remembered! I know that we are going to cherish these photos forever--both my mom and grandmom already have giant photographs from the day up on their walls. I have recommended Hope to everyone I know, and I still can’t believe how lucky I was to be able to have her as my photographer!

Hope is all you could ask for in a wedding photographer. She is professional, responsive, flexible, warm and friendly, and truly cares about getting you the best photos to document your day. She asks questions about what you like and whats important to you, and she listens/delivers! I was so nervous about my pictures (I'm not very photogenic) and they turned out fantastic. I could not be happier. She knows the best angles, and how to capture the most precious moments, particularly candid and action shots. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone!

We could not be any more happy with our choice of photographer. To say it simply... Hope is beyond fantastic. Starting with our engagement session - she battled a snow storm with us to get incredible shots all over our small town. The pictures were so beautiful they were even featured in a popular wedding blog. Both my husband and I are a bit awkward (lol) but Hope’s direction, enthusiasm and willingness to spend a little extra time to get the shots made the entire experience and outcome exceptional (and fun). Our wedding was quite large (22 people in the bridal party not counting flower girls and ring bearer) so it was important to me the photographer be comfortable and experienced in working with such a large group. Hope did not disappoint. She gave clear direction and wrangled in groomsmen/bridesmaid/bride and groom to ensure we have beautiful shots to remember our most special day. I knew I had to snag Hope as our wedding photographer, to the point that I did so 2 years in advance!!! Hope puts 100% of her time and energy in perfecting her craft and it definitely shows! Hope takes timeless photos that bring all of the emotions of the day rushing back. Not only are you left with an amazing product, Hope is there for you from day 1, I had many questions that she always had quick answers to. Also, I was sick on my wedding day (!!) but Hope was a calming presence throughout and helped me to feel absolutely beautiful with her kind and light demeanor. I CANNOT recommend Hope enough! I had heard about Hope through a friend and after taking one look at her portfolio and past work I knew I was set. Hope Helmuth Photography provided incredible, timeless photography for our wedding day. We were blown away when we got our photos back. She made me look like a natural in front of the camera when I am definitely not — she is so talented at bridal portraits. Some of our favorite photos also ended up being the candid shots she got throughout the night. Her and her second shooter, Sarah, were so unobtrusive getting these shots I never even noticed them snapping pics! I am so happy with the outcome of our pictures! Hope did an amazing job:) She was very friendly and made my husband and I feel very comfortable. She was very flexible as well (I was stressing, we were running late, and the wedding party got a little crazy). Despite all of this, Hope went with it and managed to get beautiful photos!! I would definitely book her again if I had to do it over!!

Where do I start! If you’re reading this... you should start by calling her and booking your wedding date.... are you back? Ok... seriously... Hope was so incredible and everything I could’ve asked for in a wedding photographer! From being SO SWEET, accommodating, professional, putting my mind at ease and talking me off a ledge a few times throughout the day 😂.... It was pouring rain nearly the entire day of our May 5th Wedding, but that didn’t stop Hope for a second from getting the most amazing outside shots of us- ALL thanks to her because I was ready to call it a day and just take pictures inside our reception venue ! We have adorable umbrella shots as well as some without and you cannot even tell it’s raining in them! She has such a creative eye, and is truly an artist! Lauren who was with her was equally as sweet and amazing! Where do I even begin?! Hope and her team are absolutely amazing. No, really. They are incredible! My husband and I are so impressed from our engagement photos, to our wedding photos and every conversation in between. It's clear that Hope is very talented and her work speaks for itself, but her personality is even better. She made every interaction super comfortable and fun for us. It felt like a good friend was shooting us every time she worked with us. We loved Hope's style which felt romantic and non traditional to us, which is why we went to her and she blew our expectations out of the water. For us, photography was the most important vendor because photos capture the magical memories being made on your big day. I can honestly say our photographs have brought tears to our eyes numerous times and we feel so lucky to have these memories captured so beautifully forever. If you choose Hope as your wedding photographer you will not be disappointed, in fact you'll probably just ugly cry like me because she does such a lovely job!!

It's hard to describe the delight that is working with Hope. First, there's the actual photo taking. Hope is so friendly and outgoing that she made even me and my camera-shy husband feel like models. Then there's the moment she emails you a link to your digital gallery, and you start sobbing because the whole day looks even more beautiful than you remember. She manages to capture every little moment when you thought to yourself, "I wish I could stop time right now." We loved that her wedding package includes an engagement session (important to me and my husband so that we could feel comfortable with her on our wedding day) a second shooter on the big day (so no moment is missed because it happened across the room!), and the option to add on film images for a slight raise in fee. It's amazing how much value you get in this. Hiring Hope was one of the best decisions my husband and I made in our planning process, and we cannot recommend her enough.

Hope has otherworldly powers when it comes to photography. The pictures from our wedding are stunning, we can't stop looking at them. She managed to capture every moment we could have wanted from the day. Hope is immensely talented, but she is also really great to work with. We had absolutely zero stress when it came to our photos and that is entirely because of Hope. We cannot recommend her enough, she is awesome.

HIRE HOPE! That is the main point I want to get across, but here's why: if you're looking for photos with a romantic, dreamy quality - hire Hope. If you're looking for someone to capture the emotions and little moments that mean so much - hire Hope. If you want a photographer who is laid back, has a calming presence, and sunny smile - hire Hope. If you're looking for an "oh my gosh!" reaction when you show people your wedding photos - hire Hope. If those reasons aren't enough - she's affordable, easy to work with, and has a background in editorial photography, which means your bridal portraits will turn out insanely beautiful. I could go on and on, but I'll end with this - she's the best!

Hope Helmuth is absolutely amazing! I knew I wanted to use her the second I got engaged. Her pictures are so romantic and natural- totally my style. Working with her was such a joy- from our engagement pictures to day of. She relaxed me so much throughout the day and was able to get every shot we wanted. She is also super creative and had us (bride & groom) do some amazing shots throughout the reception location. I cannot recommend her enough. She even sent us a preview of our wedding day photos the day after! It was so awesome to see some pictures that quickly. Best decision I ever made was hiring her! She is so so so beyond talented. Hope and her partner were amazing! The day of my wedding was a hurricane and I was so upset that would mean no good pictures but I was wrong. Hope captured nearly 1000 incredible photos of the evening. She took every picture I asked for and so so many more. Worth every penny!

My husband and I booked Hope as our photographer after he showed me her work on instagram and I was in awe of how beautiful her pictures were. They went to high school together, so it was nice to have the foundation of a personal relationship to build off of, which made making this decision much easier! From the very beginning, Hope listened to our wants and expectations, worked with us to create the perfect package, and her execution was flawless. I mean... FLAWLESS. Hope and her assistant, Lauren, showed up right on time. They managed to get all of our detail shots done before I was even done with my hair. She was a calming voice amongst the hustle and bustle of a 13 women bridal party, and did an incredible job at organizing my family of 25+ people during our family shots. The photos turned out absolutely perfect! They beyond exceeded our expectations and are something we will have to cherish for the rest of our lives. She captured each moment so beautifully; when I look at the photos, I can remember what I was feeling in that moment. There aren't enough words to explain our gratitude to Hope and her team for giving us the gift of being able to relive the best day of our lives.

My husband and I are so glad we found Hope and requested her as our photographer for our wedding. She is immensely talented and an overall great person to work with- as was her second shooter. Hope was a wonderful choice for our wedding photography. I am so happy with the decision we made to go with her. She was extremely wonderful through the entire process. She was always willing to answer all of our questions and was quick to respond. Her photography is simply amazing. We have the best Engagement and Wedding photos that I just can't stop looking at! Hope did an amazing job capturing all the little details I didn't even think about - it was so awesome to see what the room looked liked before all the guests sat down! Also, her second shooter did an awesome job and because of their team work we had some really cool shots from different angles. I highly recommend Hope!!!

THE MOST TALENTED PHOTOGRAPHER OUT THERE! Everyone, and I mean everyone, told us that our pictures are those from a magazine. They could not believe how professional they looked. Pictures are probably the most important memory you will have of your wedding. I was extremely picky in choosing my photographer- trust me when I tell you that Hope is your girl. I received Hope's name through a friend, and boy am I glad I did! Hope was absolutely amazing to work with. We did a test drive with her for our engagement session and loved our photos so much we used her for our big day! Day of, she was on time, and got to work right away...she was so easy to work with, and it felt like I was talking to a friend the entire time she was there. Hope is so unbelievably artistic. They always say, that not everything will go the way you want the day of your wedding. Well, my fiancé and I decided to scope out all of our photography areas before the wedding, not even thinking that there were going to be six other weddings surrounding us on our big day. All of the spots that we wanted photographs were being taken by other wedding parties. At this point I was already over taking photos. Hope reassured me and made it work. Her artistic eye picked out some other areas nearby that ended up turning out to be absolutely beautiful for photos. I had a few ideas for photos at our venue and she KILLED IT, and even when I was over taking photos she pushed me a little bit to take some more which I am happy about, because I'm sure I would of regret it. Thank you so much Hope! Can't wait to shoot with you in the future!

Hope was amazing to work with for both our engagement pictures as well as for our wedding. She was always prompt when meeting us anywhere and took stunning photos that I am in love with. We were married on May 28, and she was able to provide a preview in just two days. I cannot wait to see the rest! I would recommend Hope and her team to anyone!

Hope was so great and worth every penny! Compared to lots of options out there, she is VERY affordable but the pictures came out AMAZING. I was really happy with both our engagement session and all of our wedding pictures. Plus, the turn around time is very fast! She is professional, reliable, and does great work. I would definitely recommend!!
