The COVID-19 lockdown went into effect ten weeks prior to our wedding. Kelly was so helpful when it came to postponing our wedding and made it all easy during such a stressful and sad time. Kelly always responded to my emails quickly and was eager to meet if needed. As it got closer to our 2021 wedding, Kelly ensured that she had every detail correct and we were ready to go including pronouncing everyone's names correctly. Finally, the day came and the band was amazing!!!! The dance floor was packed all night. Guests even started dancing during dinner because the music was too good to wait. Horizon and the Horns made our day absolutely perfect. Seriously, don't hire anyone else.

even learned a song just for our special night!! That is dedication. The male and female singers are amazing and energetic, and really cover all areas and genres together. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

They’ll play every song you wanted and all the awesome ones you forgot to ask about. Kelly’s got pipes like you wouldn’t believe. Nick will make you wonder how the hell you got so lucky finding this band. Brian and the rest of the horn section will make you wonder why you ever thought you could live without a horn section. On our wedding day the whole band was absolutely great. We had guitar and piano at our ceremony and they were kind enough to learn one of our processional songs and give honest advice about a piece that they didn’t think would work so well, which we really appreciated, they are the professionals after all! At our reception they knocked it out of the park!! They learned our first dance song and played it BETTER than the original. They were absolutely our most rave review from our guests, everyone wanted to know about them and how we had found them. They kept the energy up and Kelly did a perfect job as emcee keeping the event flowing smoothly. The only disappointment of the night is when they had to pack up and leave! I could not recommend that you book Horizon and the Horns enough! Just go do it now and thank yourself later as you watch all your guests have a fantastic time.

ith all our questions and song changes, she did an incredible job MCing the speeches, and the timeline of the event, and the whole band did a truly spectacular job at getting people on the dance floor and staying there!! Kelly and the band also completely rolled with a rather difficult set-up for the band in our space- they made it work perfectly and were flexible with their schedule because of it. The dance floor was full the whole night and guests could not stop raving about how great they were as a wedding band. They did a spectacular job on the parent dances and our last dance for the night as well as playing so many fun jams throughout the evening. And most importantly, you get SO much for your money- they are so reasonable considering the quality of music and performance you are getting. I wish I could give them ten stars! You cannot go wrong booking them, what are you waiting for??

She was always responsive and extremely easy to work with, providing helpful feedback throughout the whole process. Horizon & the Horns not only accommodated but executed every one of our requests. We had some unique song choice requests for our ceremony and first dances which was never an issue for these pros! Our wedding was at a summer camp that was fairly rustic which was also never a problem. Kelly and the band were able to provide and set up microphones for our wedding ceremony which was extremely helpful. Ray played the piano for our ceremony which made for such a meaningful experience for us and our guests. The full seven piece band rocked the night away for our reception, playing every song we requested and then some. We can say enough about the energy they brought, from their talent alone, to their interaction with the crowd, it was amazing. We can’t thank (and recommend) Kelly, Ray, and the rest of the band enough!

We had a couple of their musicians perform for our ceremony and cocktail hour which I highly recommend - they took care of all of the sound equipment needed and did a really wonderful job. Not only do they play current songs along with the wedding classics, they do a great job transitioning the different parts of the reception (from the speeches to dinner, cake cutting, etc.). At my own wedding the evening flowed perfectly and I received many compliments the next morning from guests (including both our younger friends as well as older family members) who had a great time on the dance floor and enjoyed the reception as a whole. We've been married 7 years and we still try to catch Horizon when they play at local restaurants, events, etc.

They have a terrific repertoire, have great energy, and sound terrific. Kelly does a great job MCing too -- something incredibly important that many couples overlook. We used the band for our ceremony music as well and were incredibly pleased and impressed. It can be really hard to get this to come off right but even in an outdoor venue they took care of all of the sound equipment and sounded terrific. We can't recommend the band highly enough -- we were absolutely thrilled.

Once the dancing started, man, it didn't stop! There was not one moment during the reception when the dance floor was empty. At one point, the horns were playing on the dance floor, and I was handed (or grabbed) the microphone to sing! They really know how to keep a crowd entertained. It was the best reception and the best night. We also used their uplighting instead of hiring a separate vendor, and it was perfect!! Our friends were all very impressed by the band and their ability to play such a variety of songs. A truly spectacular band and an unforgettable evening!

They exceeded all expectations -- from working with us early on song selections, to creating a custom playlist for the cocktail hour, to keeping everyone out on the dance floor until the last song. I really appreciated how organized, professional, and thoughtful Kelly, Ray and the entire band were throughout the process. In addition to a great dance set, they brought tambourines for the kiddos, did a great job MC'ing the reception, and rolled with the weather by moving the speakers and mic set up last minute due to rain. We had a number of guests complement the band after the wedding, saying it was the best they had heard. If there was a sixth star, I'd give it -- we couldn't recommend them more highly!

zing time when they heard Horizon would be playing our wedding, but it was so fun to see how blown away our out of town guests were by Horizon's talents. They really kept the party going all night long! Kelly and Ray and company are amazing and the time they took to help make several moments of our wedding into once in a lifetime moments will never be forgotten. Our wedding ended on a beach dance floor and the Horizon sang our last song next to us on the dance floor on acoustic guitar. I am still in awe of the extra mile they took to make our wedding amazing. I feel so honored they were apart of our special day.

array of songs is amazing. One common element I find each time is they get people up and dancing. People seem to really enjoy the "show" and enjoy themselves. Each band member is especially good at what they do. The lead singer has an amazing voice and an outstanding stage presence.

Amazing variety of music (check out a sampling from their song list on their website - http://www.horizonandthehorns.com/song-list.html), they can do all the classics, current pop music, swing, jazz, rock. Since the wedding, two separate friends who are planning their own weddings in different states have said they are now considering a band instead of a DJ – if they can find someone like Horizon! With a little notice, they will also learn songs – our first dance was a slowed down version of Katy Perry’s Firework (sentimental reasons ha) and they were able to do that arrangement no problem. The dance floor was packed all night and the band also appears to be having a great time with you! Beyond the music, working with Ray Novack is the best! He’s very responsive and clearly knows what he’s doing when it comes to weddings – he thinks of every detail, including many that I would have missed myself! The day-of his daughter Kelly, vocalist and more, does an awesome job of “MC-ing” the reception – every name pronounced perfectly and aware of everything going on. I realized mid-way through the dance party that I wanted a photo on the dance floor of all my college friends (husband and I are college sweethearts) – I went up to Ray, while he was on keyboard, and asked if he could work that in. He got the message to Kelly, she announced the photo, the group gathered and then we were back to dancing – it was all so seamless! Awesome music, awesome energy – thank you Horizon & the Horns! Update: A friend at the wedding just booked Horizon & the Horns for her own wedding!

I was a little nervous because I hadn't seen Horizon perform and the dance floor and music was very important to us, and we were SO happy with our band choice. They played all great music and kept everyone on the dance floor all night. They did a great job playing new and old music so all guests were up and dancing, and they had fun props and came out onto the dance floor to get everyone engaged.

The dance floor was always moving and Kelly (his daughter) is an unbelievable lead singer and MC. They are reasonable priced and I would highly recommend this band.

On the plus side, they were very reasonable compared to our bands that we talked to (especially in the Newport, RI area). Would HIGHLY recommend using this band. They made our wedding day perfect and all our guests loved them. The saddest part was when they were done!

t what a great band we had at our wedding. Horizon and the Horns sound great and they play a variety of music for all musical tastes. Ray Novack kept our guests dancing all night. He is also professional and pleasant to deal with. He made it known that it was “our” day and he would do whatever we requested. Ray had the band learn some Spanish songs for my family. He also accommodated my fiance, David, by researching and playing a special song for David’s mom. You don’t get that personal touch with other wedding vendors. I highly recommend Horizon and the Horns. They are an amazing band and they are a big part of my wonderful, wedding-day memories.

They play with joy and are happy to add to events in any way they can, but mostly they love to get people out of their seats and on the dance floor. Then as a band, they played every single song we wished for. They had everyone on their feet the entire night. They came out to the floor which was so fun for the younger crowd. My guests have not stopped talking about it almost 2 years later. My best friend is getting married in April, her parents were at my wedding and wanted Horizon and the Horns, so lucky me I get to be a guest and enjoy them again. Cannot say enough great things! You will not be disappointed!
