his band- after his brother used them he didn’t want anyone else! They had EVERYONE on the dance floor- from our friends to grandparents. Aunts and uncles were texting us weeks after saying how amazing they were. Hot mess went above and beyond and had one of our family members join them on stage!!!!! It is all he talks about at family functions. Hot mess is more than a band they make you feel like friends and family the whole night (and after!) All I hope is that the rest of the weddings I attend have hot mess. They made our night 💕💕

We had seen Hot Mess before at another friend's wedding and they were the very first vendor we booked when we started planning. The absolute best part of the night was their Boston music medley — it was a total crowd-pleaser and had everyone screaming the lyrics and dancing like crazy. Even the New York out of towners couldn't say no to singing along! So many of our guests told us it was the best wedding band they’ve ever seen, and we couldn’t agree more. Jason also DJ'd our after party and it was a seamless transition and another round of a rocking dance floor up until the very last song! Hot Mess truly made our wedding unforgettable, and we’re beyond grateful for the memories they helped create. I seriously cannot recommend them enough! Of course the main reason you hire a band is for the music, and the band itself couldn't have been better. They learned a song for our first dance and it was everyone's favorite part of the night. They perfectly curated a set list that kept everyone on the dance floor all night, and our guests still can't stop talking about them a month later. e. Hot Mess is INCREDIBLE. We were married a month ago and our guests (and us) are still talking about the dance floor. Everything was perfect- from signing the contract and working with their manager Gail. To pre wedding details with Jason ( the lead singer). No detail was forgotten. The vibes were high with Jason always, and we truly needed him. Everyone needs hype man like him. What I loved about hot mess was that they cared about the party we wanted to throw, What our guests were like, what songs do we listen to at home. When our wedding week came, there was no one more hype than Jason and that carried through to our wedding day. Our goal for Jason was to keep a high energy vibe all night and he and the rest of the band got it done. At times it felt like the dance floor wasn’t big enough, a true sign of a good time. Just over 6 weeks from our wedding and our friends and family are still raving about the one and only, HOT MESS BAND. We couldn’t be more thankful for the friendship we’ve formed with Jason and we feel so incredibly lucky to have had the whole band (steel pan trio and all) to throw a knock out party for our big day.

One thing that was super important to us was our first dance that was choreographed to Dancing in the Moonlight and the Hot Mess band absolutely crushed it - even our dance instructor was so impressed at how Hot Mess was able to replicate the exact tempo of the song. I cannot tell you how many times people have asked me if they play public events in the area because they are dying to hear them play live again! My husband and I cannot rave enough about Hot Mess. They MADE our wedding and we could not be more grateful to have had them be a part of our special day.

of COVID presented many challenges and constant changes, Hot Mess made it as easy as possible. After my husband and I got engaged in February of 2020, we booked Hot Mess (9 pieces) for our reception shortly thereafter. Little did we know that COVID would derail pretty much all of our plans! Gail was extremely responsive and willing to work with my husband and myself. At the time of our wedding, the city of Boston did not allow singing, so it was looking like a 9-piece band would not be possible. Luckily, the team at Hot Mess was super flexible and accommodating, and we ended up having 2 wonderful solo acoustic guitarists for our cocktail hour, and Jason as DJ. From our first call with Jason, we felt at ease. Let me tell you, his passion and enthusiasm was palpable which we REALLY needed after an exhausting and frustrating wedding planning process. The positivity was such a breath of fresh air! And Jason BROUGHT THE PARTY on our big day! It was so wonderful to give all our family and friends an opportunity to dust off their dancing shoes after far too long! Do yourself a favor and hire Hot Mess for your wedding/event - you won't regret it!!

Jason and the band were absolutely incredible. They had our dance floor packed the entire night. Jason took the time to have a phone call with me a week before to go over all the names in our wedding party to get the correct pronunciation and confirm the songs we wanted. My husband picked out our first dance song (it was a surprise) and the band learned the song for us. It was incredible. People complimented the band the entire night. By the end of our night, I felt like we had new friends in Jason and the rest of the band. They truly and genuinely cared about our friends and family having a great time. They provided the best soundtrack for our evening. Seriously, look no further and just book Hot Mess! You will not be disappointed. Well let me tell you, they did not disappoint!! Every single person who came to the wedding said the band was AMAZING and was by far the BEST BAND they had ever seen/heard. I booked them for an additional 2 hours, most wedding receptions are 4 hours (after cocktail hour) - I booked them for 6 hours and worried that with open bar for that long people may start to pass out but the dance floor stayed jam packed all night long. There were people who were waiting by the stage at the end of the night to get their cards to try and book them. On top of it all Jason is so incredibly easy to work with, soo organized (even my wedding planner was amazed), and an amazing M.C., he truly wants to make sure you have the wedding of your dreams and will go above and beyond to make sure it happens. I cannot recommend this band enough, they are soooo good, worth every penny! Just book them now before it's too late!!!

The dance floor was PACKED all night and Hot Mess were so dynamic and explosive that they even had our “non-dancing” guests dancing all night!
