My dad went to pick up the order as I was getting ready on the day of the wedding, and as I was getting my nails done I got a call from my husband telling me the order was completely wrong. Instead of getting a dozen each of three different flavors we got 36 cupcakes that we all different flavors and looks. I was not happy. My "Man of Honor" (my best friend is a guy) promptly called the bakery and said the order had been messed up and we needed the correct order, and that we'd be happy to even give this order back if needed. At which time they said my order didn't exist, and rudely hung up on my friend. We double checked the number, saw we called the right placed, and called back immediately. We spoke with a different person who re-checked and saw that yes, we did in fact get the wrong order, and that it was the baker's fault, who had apparently just seen a few boxes of cupcakes and handed them off to my dad without checking. They found our actual order, jumped in their car and immediately delivered them to us free of charge and even let us keep the other ones. I was so happy that they did that for us, and it absolutely helped redeem the bad experience I had thus far. Later on that night though, the one bad thing that happened was that the frosting on the cupcakes melted very easily and looked lopsided by the time everyone got to eat. Everything was still tasty, but it definitely did not make for great pictures of our cake and cupcakes. Hopefully they change the recipe or something to withstand a bit more heat (and this was in the evening when it was maybe 60 degrees outside and the sun was down).

out 200 people attending my wedding so I planned on having a 4 tier cake. When I looked at their menu/brochure I got extremely excited to see that they showed the prices of each layer of the cake according to size. When I calculated the price of the sizes I wanted it seemed very reasonable. The cost for 4 tiers was going to be approximately $400 according to their menu and their website. I was planning on having a plain cake (no designs) except on two layers I wanted some dots. Also, along the bottom of the cake I wanted ribbon, which I supplied myself. After the consultation I got an extimate for more than double what the cost showed on their menu and website. When I asked why there was a difference in cost they replied "becasue it's a wedding cake and thats how the owner prices wedding cakes." So, what I didn't understand is why they would have their prices displayed if it wasn't accurate for all the cakes they supply. My parents had already put a non-refundable deposit on the cake so I wasn't going to cancel but I was a bit upset with their response. When they delivered the cake the day of the wedding they assembled the cake and were about to leave when my wedding planner noticed that the way they put it together was not only tilted but was on the verge of falling apart. She called the people that dropped off the cake back and explained what was going on their frist reaction was that they had done their job already. When she showed them the cake they finally saw that the it was on the verge of falling apart. They reluctantly fixed it and left. When I arrived to my wedding reception and saw the cake it was not perfect. There were dents in the cake which made it look very unprofessional. All in all the cake was very tasty! But, with all the issues I had with the company I would not recomend them to anyone for a wedding cake.
