We had our wedding at hotel 1620, and the whole experience was great! The team was supportive and helpful throughout the entire process. From our first tour with Jack we knew it was the perfect spot for us. The waterfront site is only a 5 minute walk away and is absolutely beautiful. They have done a lot of recent renovations both there and at the hotel. Over the months, weeks and days leading up to the wedding, Krissie and Franque were available to help us and created a timeline in collaboration with our vendors. They were there running the wedding day of and available to address any questions. Highly recommend!

Our wedding at Hotel 1620 was absolutely incredible from start to finish! We fell in love with the waterfront ceremony space, and the ballroom was absolutely stunning—especially with the new white dance floor and beautiful lighting. It created the perfect atmosphere for our celebration. Jack, Krissie, and Franque were amazing to work with throughout the entire process. They were professional, responsive, organized, and made us feel completely taken care of. Thanks to their attention to detail and support, our wedding day was completely stress-free, organized, and filled with laughter and ease. The food was also incredible! So many of our guests went out of their way to tell us how much they loved it, which meant so much to us. We also felt that the pricing was very reasonable for everything that was included. One thing we really appreciated was the transparency throughout the planning process. There were no crazy or unexpected fees that came as a shock when we received the final bill, which made budgeting and planning so much easier and gave us a lot of peace of mind. We truly couldn't have asked for a better venue or team to celebrate our wedding with. Hotel 1620 gave us the perfect setting, incredible food, and an unforgettable experience. We would wholeheartedly recommend it to any couple looking for a beautiful, well-organized, and reasonably priced wedding venue!

ricing. Franque was responsive, friendly and helpful. Krissie had a great sense of humor but was also no nonsense and productive. I loved everything about my wedding and was impressed with how well they set up the reception room. Plus they’re dog friendly and the food was good! The only thing I’ll say is if they do more than one wedding in a day, you run the risk of your ceremony being compromised. I showed up to my wedding ceremony to find nothing set up and the previous one JUST leaving, running over an hour behind. It doesn’t take long to set up so I tried to look past it, but then the couple proceeded to take photos all the way up until my entire ceremony was seated and waiting to start. The venue I believe told them to leave but they did not and it wasn’t until my brother in law made them leave so my ceremony could start. I found this extremely rude and I do wish the venue was more aggressive about it. If they don’t have two weddings, you’re good to go! But if they do and you’re the second ceremony, I simply suggest being assertive about your ceremony time and make sure it’s clear that photos cannot be taken if guests for the next ceremony are arriving. I blame the other wedding for being rude more than the venue for not being assertive, we also had wedding crashers from them trying to hit up my open bar. 🤣 Over all I would choose it all over again exactly the way it went, and I still would recommend this venue to absolutely everyone! Everything went smoothly and according to plan & I am very grateful for my wedding day.

works here is simply the best. Krissie helped us plan every aspect of this from recommendations on vendors to last minute “forgotten’ guests, highly knowledgeable, very professional. Franque assisted us day of and beyond and was so on it! We had a smaller wedding so our event was in the Atlantic Room. I got to watch them put our room together day of from the balcony of my get-ready room, which was absolutely amazing. The food was fantastic and the prices were reasonable. We got a package, which is something that we never knew we wanted but oh did we ever need! All of our guests had so much fun. I’m still getting comments on how lovely everything was! The ceremony space on the water is perfect, gorgeous, and extremely close, 50% of our guests walked over from the hotel but we did see larger weddings that arranged shuttles for their guests. As a member of the service industry myself I can tell you that this is one of the best, most professional, and beautiful places to get married on Cape Cod. Highly recommend. Our only regret is that we can’t do it all over again! If you’re looking at this venue please don’t sleep on it. Just fabulous!

They do EVERYTHING, and I mean everything.. from coordinating with all your vendors, providing helpful timelines/ planning forms, and answering all your questions so quickly. The communication from the team was excellent. On the day of the wedding, you are treated with celeb status. They made everything so easy and fun for us, so we could truly enjoy every minute. We had a large wedding- 200 guests and everyone was raving about the hotel, décor, food and how wonderful all the staff was. We can’t thank them enough for making our wedding so special (and for working/staying up super late on the holiday, so we could celebrate our wedding and ring in 2025)! o very nice to have so many things within walking distance for our guests and more than enough spaces for people to stay nearby. Everyone we worked with was so incredible and helpful. Wedding planning is very stressful, but they all had a very calming, put-together presence. They were so organized and helped make the day go seamlessly. We are beyond appreciative of Franque, Mindy, Jack and Karen and everyone else who helped make this day so very special. They truly went above and beyond and you can tell how much they care. The hotel was beautiful, clean, spacious, and many guests complimented it. Everyone loved the food offered. They had a brunch buffet at the restaurant in the lobby the morning after, which was so easy for guests staying over. We loved having both the ceremony and reception in one place which allowed us to spend more time with our guests and not rush with pictures. The hotel is in a great location, right near the water and downtown shops. The wedding package included a lot, which made the process much less stressful. It also included a tasting ahead of time which was fun. We could not have picked a more perfect venue and highly recommend it for future weddings!

e hotel. Even with 3 wedding parties, and 2 other major conventions occurring all over the same weekend, we never felt unattended to, supported, or as if we didn't have the necessary space. Even when there was an issue with 2 rooms, they made a point of fixing the concerns as soon as we brought it to their attention. As Cape Cod natives who no longer are in the area, we have always loved the Plymouth waterfront, so having the ability to share that love with our guests, and being walking distance from all that it has to offer was truly incredible. The suite we had for our wedding night was large, airy, bright, with a beautiful balcony and harbor view. Truly the best location for wedding needs in the Plymouth area!

gorgeous venue that has all the bells and whistles. Even when the weather decided to be awful, they jumped right into action to come up with a backup plan inside away from the rain. Jack Besozzi was the best wedding coordinator a girl could ask for (even though he is technically the catering sales manager), he was involved in every aspect of every detail that I wanted for my wedding and he made sure everything went off without a hitch. We were so, so happy with our wedding experience at Hotel 1620! From the beginning, Mary Beth Ryan was absolutely fantastic: organized, responsive, and flexible. Although we grew...

up in the area, my wife and I now live in DC and consequently were planning our wedding from out-of-town. Thanks to Mary Beth, however, our planning process was seamless; she was always in touch with us and willing to make time to meet with us for preparations whenever we came back into town. With plenty of time to go until the wedding day, she had our schedule ironed out, organized into a clear document, and distributed to the vendors for everyone to be on the same page. From a set-up standpoint, the hotel has a really great area for a cocktail reception, which we loved because it gave a nice atmosphere for breaking up these portion of the wedding and the actual reception, which we did in the main ballroom. The ballroom was plenty of room for our wedding (155 people + a large band stage), and easily could have fit about 20-30 more. In terms of decorating the ballroom, Hotel 1620 and Mary Beth have a TON of recommendations and connections for interior decor, chair covers, and flowers, which was really helpful for us in finding creative ways to decorate the reception. Apart from the inside of the hotel, we loved this venue because it could not have been in a more central location (we did our rehearsal dinner across the street and the church ceremony within walking distance). From a food and drink standpoint, everyone was extremely happy with the options (the steak is amazing). The chef was also very flexible and even went beyond the standard menu to help us craft some options for appetizers and late-night snacks.

ere weren't a ton of options but I am so glad I checked out the beautifully redone Hotel 1620. Mary Beth was fabulous to work with - from the initial walk through til the wedding weekend, she was always there to answer questions and accommodate my needs. It is the perfect spot in Plymouth to get married - right across from the waterfront. As someone who lives less than 30 minutes from Plymouth I had never actually spent the night there but the 3 nights I spent were amazing - I rented the Harbor View Suite which was perfect for having my bridal party get ready the day of the wedding and acted as a wedding headquarters throughout the long weekend :) The wedding package they offer can't be beat - having a cake and centerpieces included and the food was awesome (many of my guests let me know how much the enjoyed it!) The entire staff was friendly from Amy in Sales who answered all my hotel block questions to the ladies at the lobby desk who were so excited for the wedding it made me even more excited for my big day! I would 100% recommend the Hotel 1620 - it was the best decision I could have made for my wedding :)

additions to the big day and working with her and Patty for the wedding reception and room blocks for our wedding over a holiday weekend was so easy and stress-free. When our ceremony site fell through we turned to Mary Beth and instantly had the solution to have the ceremony on site as well. Chef Johnny was fantastic and super accommodating to our menu changes and special requests. Bernadette and John in Banquets were absolutely amazing and so helpful in setting up and running our Wedding ceremony and reception. Our guests were raving about the entire evening. From the moment we arrived to the hotel friday for set-up, and check-in we were treated like VIPs, and it continued all day every day with every team member we crossed until we left the property. We felt so welcomed and special it was hard to check out. We would highly recommend the Hotel 1620 for a wedding or special event in a heart beat. Thank you again to the entire team at Hotel 1620 for making our special day even more special.

I used this hotel for my wedding block. The sales manager was nonexistent. She answered my first email by saying she would call the next day. Long story short...nearly a month late...

r when I finally did get a hold of her she told me misinformation (ex. telling me their was a 2 night minimum in the month of April when their website stated they did not) I tried to rent a room for my bridal party to get ready in and it was like pulling teeth. Don’t you want my money? I’ve never had a sales person make it so hard to take a willing customers money. On the plus side the staff the day of was very friendly. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. My guest were very happy but I would not recommend the stress to a another bride. Unfortunately I already put them as my accommodations so it was too late to cancel.

ght through the morning after breakfast was not only professional... but truly perfect. When we first looked at the hotel, we were a little cautious because they didn't get great reviews over the last few years. As we found out, the hotel just got new owners and they were committed to making the hotel as nice as the area it is in. And... they sure did! Every guest room and most common areas were completely overhauled in a wonderful and appropriate design. We were fortunate enough to choose the Atlantic Room for our wedding which was a wonderful place to hold our reception. It not only had the height of two floors of ceiling space ... it did so while still having a cat walk on the perimeter of the room which proved to be a great spot to put small tables and enjoy the the wedding from a fun and different viewpoint! As it was a New Year's Eve wedding, we went with a heavy hors d'oeuvres menu and we were thrilled with both the quality and the quantity. The Chef was spot on from the time he did a delicious pre-tasting to the final evening. The guest rooms had all been completely re-done and many of our guests commented on how nice they were. All of the staff we worked with, from the front desk, to John and Matt in facilities to the GM who took the time to chat with us that day for quite a while... were extremely professional and ridiculously accommodating. We highly recommend this hotel and it's staff for your day, too!

ps, bars, and tourist spots,- but I was taken back by that amazing service that they provided. The hotel is being renovated and although it was not completed, the whole hotel felt newer & cleaner then when we visited it under the last ownership. The renovation is wonderful but thank god the new ownership kept the same staff! Jenna, who helped us set up our wedding block, was incredible!!!!!! I cannot tell you how many times we reached out to her with a question, asking her to help us book conference rooms to get ready in, check on suites, or make a change to our block, and EACH AND EVERY time she would get back to us right away and help us with anything we needed. She is the best Mary Beth is also great! As the director of catering, helped up set up a brunch for the Sunday after the wedding and was very helpful and easy to work with. Additionally, the ENTIRE staff was sweet, super friendly and very helpful.
