The event coordinators were communicative and helpful, Katie in particular, and acted as an all-but day of coordinator, and at times even more than that. There is however a clear distinction between Arista, and your Arista point-of-contact though. The hotel itself can struggle with coordination in various small ways. Hotel information communication, back office communication and timing, drop off and pick up coordination and timing were all impacted negatively. We're fortunate that we were most negatively impacted by a lack of Arista to Arista communication and logistics when we had purpose-built slack time in our schedule day-of. Back to the good stuff! Set up and take down was flawless, seamless, and quick. Katie was with us through most of it, easing concerns. Not acting as a crasher but as very helpful staff and a very welcomed guest too. Arista seemed to interact flawlessly with our other vendors as well. Food was good for the most part. Bar service was even better! Arista was generous with their space, allowing us to basically utilize an entire floor of a building when we really only had two rooms. Guest experience was good, rooms great! If you're getting married here honestly just get two suites so that you have a groomsmen and bridal suite because neither are built into the venue. They're large enough to function as one, and if you're not doing a first look, you could honestly have everyone get together in one. Parking being baked into the price is excellent and makes guests immediately happy. (A very small side note, please communicate with your couple when a large event will be occurring simultaneously. It's not that large events shouldn't occur, but being proactive with that information would have been helpful.)

The wedding day was perfect, and I knew I could trust Katie and the Hotel Arista staff to keep the wedding day running smoothly. My husband, family, and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about all of the Hotel Arista staff. The food was amazing! Special shoutout to the potato leek soup. We constantly had servers checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed during dinner. Food was brought out and cleaned up in a very timely manner. And they also held a day after brunch where the staff was so kind and attentive. We loved that Hotel Arista staff also took care of setting up all the decorations, programs, and favors that we brought in. And they cleaned them up at the end of the night and stored them for us until we checked out of the hotel. Many thanks to all the event staff who are truly exceptional at what they do! You can tell they are professionals that do a fabulous job hosting elegant events. I would highly recommend Hotel Arista to anyone for their wedding, I could not imagine a more perfect wedding day!

It was nice having someone affiliated with the venue who has so much experience and knowledge. Having both our ceremony and reception was a key part of our day running so smoothly. The staff of Hotel Arista did such a great job flipping the ballroom from ceremony to reception and they were very helpful to our separate vendors involved. Some of our vendors had already worked with Hotel Arista and all had heard of it, so that shows how well known they are for weddings. We do hope that Hotel Arista considers having drapery that is more pleasing to the eye to begin with, since we did have to pay a decent amount to cover their existing drapery with white drapery. Anywhere you go for a wedding venue for the most part is going to have extra charges like that though, so we made sure to prioritize what we wanted to spend more on. The day felt really magical and effortless, and it is extremely evident that Katie in particular puts a lot of effort in to making it feel that way. We will never forget our special day at Hotel Arista, and we look forward to celebrating anniversaries and special occasions there in the future.

anning a wedding. From start to finish, she was the most supportive person and you could tell she genuinely cared about every couple she worked with. Planning a wedding is obviously very stressful (I'm prone to anxiety anyway), but every time we would meet with Katie should would always leave me feeling confident and happy. The wedding itself could not have been any better. Not only is Hotel Arista a beautiful venue in general, but the staff are second to none! They made everything as easy as possible on us. They took care of the setup and Katie had everything scheduled perfectly based on our wedding day plan she helped design for us. Getting married in the winter can be tricky depending on the weather, but we were able to get such lovely pictures inside the hotel that it wouldn't have even mattered if we couldn't go outside. I have to give a special shout out to everyone who made our ceremony and reception possible. It was just gorgeous at every stage. And I have to say, I have never heard so many people tell me this is the best food they've EVER had at a wedding. People are still telling us that over a month after we got married! I couldn't agree more - the food was absolutely stellar. I also can't go without mentioning how my mom was getting over a cold on the day of our wedding and Katie made sure she was being served throat-coat tea (that's the GOOD stuff) the entire evening so she wouldn't have to miss the reception. I mean, I could go on forever about how wonderful our wedding experience was! My husband and I live about 5 minutes away from Hotel Arista and we originally joked about how silly it would be to get married so close to our house. Thank god we decided to check it out anyway! Because it was easily our number one choice after looking for venues. It's easy to think about the venue itself and where you want to get married physically. Obviously with us getting married in the winter, it seemed like a slam dunk to get married at a hotel where we could have our ceremony and reception all in one location. But something we admittedly hadn't thought about prior to looking for venues was the wedding planner. It's not enough to just have a venue you love, but you want the person organizing your wedding to be someone you can rely on! Katie was that person in spades. We will have amazing memories of our wedding for years to come and a huge reason for that is the fantastic the staff at Hotel Arista. Thank you for making our wedding weekend such an amazing experience!

Arista’s wedding designer. As soon as we met with her, we knew we wanted to plan our wedding with her! She was kind, professional and so incredibly helpful. She is very experienced in the world of weddings and event planning. Working with her is like planning the biggest day of your life with a friend. She was able to see our vision for the wedding immediately and make it happen. As our wedding approached, there were many changes, due to CoVid-19 restrictions. This was not easy for us, but Katie was so patient and understanding throughout the entire process. She was calm and professional and stayed in constant communication. Even with the changes and following all the new protocols, she was still able to make our wedding perfect. We were able to relax and enjoy our wedding knowing that every detail was taken care of. The wedding of your dreams is possible during a pandemic with Hotel Arista! We ended up having our entire wedding weekend at Hotel Arista - rehearsal, wedding reception and brunch the next day.
