When we first visited Hotel du Village we knew no other venue could compare and our wedding weekend absolutely exceeded our expectations.
The venue was stunning, food was fabulous and all of the staff went above and beyond for us the entire weekend. We loved leveraging each room for a different portion of the wedding that created the perfect vibe throughout the day. Our family and friends are still raving about every element of the wedding day and the HDV team.
Mo came in as our coordinator about halfway through planning and jumped right in. She was so organized and answered all of our questions leading up to the big day. We were a bit nervous about the flow of the day and keeping everything, especially dinner, moving along and she was all over it! She made us feel so confident and as promised, everything was so smooth the day of.
With our wedding on a Friday, we were able to leverage the Inn and Cottage from Wednesday-Friday which was so incredible for our family and friends, most of whom traveled in for the wedding weekend. Leading up, Sarah was so wonderful helping to book family members into the correct rooms and helped shuffle a few things around that we needed to change last minute. It was so nice to have extra time on site and Ryan made sure our experience was top notch. He went above and beyond for us, ensuring we had everything we needed and that the smores were always stocked for our nephews! It also made it so seamless and stress free to already be on site for the wedding on Friday morning so we simply had to walk across the grounds for the wedding day.
The bridal suite and grooms room were large enough to accommodate our 15+ person parties on each side and Jordan and Agnes were incredibly attentive. Agnes was always by my side helping with anything I needed like bustling my dress, carrying my veil, and even helping with a vendor hiccup.
Our day was everything we hoped it would be thanks to the incredible HDV staff. While we knew they were incredibly busy with weddings every weekend, we never felt like "just another wedding" to their team and can't thank them all enough for making our weekend so special.

Hotel Du Village is absolutely beautiful and the perfect setting for our wedding. The grounds are stunning and made for incredible on-site photos, and having the Inn available for our wedding party and out-of-town guests was so convenient. The French chateau atmosphere is truly special—it can be as formal as you want it to be (we had a black-tie wedding), while still feeling cozy and intimate at the same time.
We reserved the Chateau package, which gave us exclusive use of the entire property, and it was well worth the investment. Having the full space to ourselves made the weekend feel private, seamless, and incredibly special. The getting-ready spaces for both the bridal and groomsmen parties were spacious, beautiful, and perfect for photos.
The chef and our venue planner Heather worked closely with us on the menu, and together we created an amazing grazing table that was absolute perfection (guests are still talking about it!). A special shoutout to my bridal attendant, Agnus—she was the best surprise of the day. She was so accommodating, always seemed to be in the right place at the right time, and truly made the day run smoothly. She’s a gem.

ow incredible everything was! Alyssa was tremendous throughout the entire planning process. Any question comment or concern we had was addressed and resolved seamlessly. We knew from the night of our tasting which was such a special, well put together evening that we had made the right decision. Agnus our bridal attendant was so sweet and never left our side throughout the whole day. The food was just incredible from cocktail hour to entrees, everything. We would recommend Hotel du Village to everyone and could not be more grateful to every staff member that made our day so tremendous.

, the cocktail hour was in the piano room, dinner was in the colt ballroom, and dancing was in the historic ballroom. It didn’t feel stuffy and kept people entertained throughout the entire evening. The grounds are stunning for photos and overall, the venue feels very private. We were lucky enough to get married on the most gorgeous spring day, offering an opportunity for our guests to enjoy the patio with fire pits at all hours of the evening. One of the biggest selling points for us was that they offer almost everything you could need for a wedding – food, furniture, alcohol, hotel, etc. It helped us limit our rentals and vendors significantly, making the planning process a breeze.
The food is fantastic, and there is no shortage of it! One of my main concerns was making sure people were well fed, and I had nothing to worry about here. Even their standard package offers tons of hors d’oeurve and dessert options and I had so many comments about the quality of the food and the beautiful presentation of it. Truly fine dining experience.
The bridal suite is absolutely stunning. It’s large enough that the ladies can spread out while enjoying a relaxing morning getting ready. The bridal attendants are so kind, and indeed, attentive! I felt so looked after by the entire team the day of the wedding.
The staff is incredible. Heather, the event coordinator, is talented, responsive, and easy to work with not only with me but my Wedding Planner and vendors. The Maître d’ was also fantastic. All of the guests were served in a timely manner, never having to wait long for a beverage or food. There were no lines at the bar and service flowed so smoothly. Clearly an experienced and well managed wait staff and bar.
The hotel itself is really beautiful. I had read prior reviews that left me with a few concerns, but it really exceeded my expectations. It was so nice to be able to stay there with all of our family and friends for a few nights, and we got to enjoy the lobby in the evenings and the fire pit out back. The young gentleman who works at the front desk is an absolute delight. I wish I had gotten his name, but he could not have been more kind, professional and accommodating to our guests – helping with bags and helping them get back into their rooms after locking themselves out many times! 😊. The continental breakfast was also great.
Our main issue was with the hotel booking. We complicated things with our booking method, but the hotel manager was unresponsive during planning. Upon arrival, rooms were incorrect, and one guest faced a double booking issue, with the manager being rude. This shouldn't deter future bookings, but patience is necessary when dealing with hotel reservations.

You can always tell when the team that works at a venue genuinely enjoys what they do - every single person who was working there the night of our wedding genuinely cared that my husband & I enjoyed each moment and had everything we could possibly need to make the day go smoothly.
The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking and our guests would not stop gushing about it’s charm. We’re so happy they saw the same beauty in it that we did! The Chateau style reception was perfect for our guests, blocking dinner at the beginning of the reception & letting guests have free reign of the venue for the last two hours of the night for dessert & dancing. Our guests used the fire pit areas for roasting s’mores & smoking cigars all night!
The food at our cocktail hour and dinner received rave reviews - specifically the lobster rolls & Marseille stations! The passed hors d’oeuvres were also absolutely fantastic. We loved the Mac & cheese, spring rolls, and lamb chops (to name a few).
We also just wanted to call out a few MVPs on the HDV team:
Alyssa, our event coordinator, was an incredible resource & always found a way to accommodate our requests. As an interior designer by trade, I was very picky with where florals, accessories and furniture were placed, but she ALWAYS found a way to make it work & never once made me feel like my requests were crazy, even if they were!
Irene, our morning bridal attendant, was amazing and took great care of my husband & I the morning of the wedding. She was a vital part in the setup of the venue the morning of the wedding and our vision wouldn’t have come to life with our her guidance.
Larry, the hotel manager, is the most kind & patient man we’ve ever met. He made sure all guests staying on the property were comfortable and had everything they needed at the hotel & cottage. He was also involved in so many other aspects of the day, including set up at the venue the morning of our wedding. You can tell he’s a vital part of the team at HDV and we couldn’t imagine the day going as smoothly as it had if he wasn’t there!
Agnes, the afternoon/evening bridal attendant, was truly a super-hero. She seemed to be everywhere at once, had anything you could possibly need in her tool belt, and made sure you never had to ask for a single thing - she already had it taken care of! I never had to pick up my own dress train/veil as we moved around the property to take photos, or go to the bar for my own drinks. She had it taken care of before we could even think to make the request!
Our wedding day was incredible because of these people & the others on staff at Hotel du Village. Three days have passed and our family & friends are STILL talking about how incredible the venue & HDV team was!

rock star, she ended up retiring a few months before our wedding which initially made us a little nervous but Alyssa stepped in seamlessly and negated any concerns that we had. She was a great communicator throughout the planning process and incredibly attentive during our celebration.
Agnes, our Bridal attendant was AMAZING. She took care of everything during our celebration from cleaning my dress, getting us drinks & food, and made sure we were able to enjoy every second of our wedding. She was truly amazing.
We also wanted to give a shout out to Ryan at the hotel on site. He was very attentive and went above and beyond to make sure all of our guests had everything they needed to be comfortable and have a great time.
The food was incredible, even let me make a special request for our vegetarijan option (im a vegetarian). And the grounds were impeccably kept and truly beautiful even during the “offseason”. And the entire staff was so warm & happy for us.

ct for our candlelit celebration. Our bridal attendant, Agnus, went above and beyond, ensuring everything ran smoothly with exceptional care for both us and our guests. Larry, the hotel coordinator, and his team were also incredibly kind, providing excellent service from check-in to check-out. A thoughtful touch was their surprise delivery of coffee and breakfast treats to the bridal suite the morning of the wedding.
However, we did encounter some challenges. The day prior to the wedding, the organization felt lacking, and the venue was not fully prepared for our rehearsal, which created confusion for our bridal party. Additionally, we were disappointed to find that our floral arrangements and bouquets were not returned after the event. It would have been helpful to have known to address this the night before, as they may have been discarded without notice. As we had invested significantly in the flowers and had planned to distribute them to our guests the following morning, we were surprised by the lack of acknowledgment or assistance in recovering them.
Finally, a guest reported their car, after being returned by valet, had a strong smell of marijuana, which was concerning.
Despite these issues, Hotel Du Village provided incredible value overall. We are extremely grateful to Agnus, Larry, and the entire staff for making our wedding day truly special.

egular offerings of water, drinks, food, and check-ins regarding event timing and coordination. Our guests raved about the amount of food that was passed around at cocktail hour and the quality of the dinner food and service. Leading up to our wedding, we felt well-prepared thanks to regular communication with our event stylist, Heather P. She sufficiently answered our questions and helped guide us when filling out the event checklist. The only thing I will suggest: Hotel Du Village should make it very clear what they offer to couples! We did not realize they offer to print your menus/cocktail signage, you can use their easels for welcome/seating signage, and they will even set up tea lights for your cocktail hour. We had already spent money on some of these things and were surprised when they told us we can use their services for those items.

Mary Ellen is amazing, so timely with her email responses, and saved the day with our cake! She had called to confirm our cake and the bakery had missed our order, without her double checking we would have been none the wiser. Everything was resolved and absolutely amazing. ents was something that we have truly never experienced. We toured many venues in the New Hope area, and this HDV was on a level above all others. The venue itself is beautiful all year round, close to a thriving area in New Hope, yet tucked away in a secluded spot, where you and your guests can experience your wedding in a private and amazing atmosphere. The services offered were so amazing, and Heather and the rest of the staff worked with us throughout the whole process to truly make sure we had an amazing day. From the staff, to the service, to the coordination, the detail, and the food (10/10), everything was top notch and better than we could have ever asked for. Best wedding ever!!!!

t like we were welcoming our guests to a grand estate for a weekend celebration. Hosting our Welcome Party by the pool the night before was the perfect touch, enhancing the estate-like atmosphere.
Our guests couldn't stop raving about the incredible food and how smoothly everything flowed. Mary Ellen was fantastic, always quick to answer my questions and providing reassurance leading up to the big day. Agnes was a dream to work with—the sweetest person I’ve ever met—and Raul kept his team moving seamlessly. Right as guest were arriving a storm started to come through, and the entire town of New Hope lost power. The staff set up both an indoor and outdoor ceremony so that we could see if the storm passed and make a quick last minute call for either indoor or outdoor ceremony. They also had a generator powering the entire property within minutes. The guests didn't even know - they just thought we were having them arrive to a candle lit ceremony! We both felt like we were in great hands the whole time. We ended up doing an indoor ceremony and it felt so beautiful and intimate.

Ellen throughout the planning process and she was very kind, communicative and professional throughout. She always made me feel at ease with any questions I had. We chose to do a Chateau style wedding and had the whole venue to ourselves. The staff were easy to work with from the start with no issues. The day of the wedding went perfect. I had two bridal attendants who were extremely kind and helpful. Mary Ellen was there and made sure everything ran smoothly. Our guests could not stop talking about how unique and beautiful everything was. The drinks and food were also outstanding! I would have my wedding there over and over again if I could because it was that great of a day!
There were a few negative incidents having to do with the hotel that I will mention but do not affect my overall review of the venue.
We used 10 rooms the night before the wedding and all of the rooms (22) the night of the wedding. At check in on the day of the wedding, some guests experienced confusion from the front desk upon check in. One guest went to a room and it was not clean. My mother in law had a room booked the night before and the night of. She did not end up staying the night before and the front desk was told she would be using the room the night of the wedding only. When she went to check in after the wedding, the room was given away to another guest by a man I forget the name of. This should have never happened because HDV had the names of everyone who was assigned a room. It all got worked out but it was still an unfortunate experience. Larry, the hotel manager was extremely apologetic and professional throughout the room assignment process. He was great to work with despite this issue. If you decide to use the hotel rooms when having your wedding here, make sure you work with Larry.

no one booked the Historic Ballroom)...I cannot imagining having another wedding there at the same time given the close quarters, so that's something to keep in mind. We had all of the rooms at the Inn (since there was no other wedding booked), which were lovely. We also had access to the lobby of the Inn for an after-after party and post-rehearsal dinner hang out by the fire pit the night before. This was such a great space and option to have. We also utilized the lobby space for brunch the day after. The food was amazing as many of the reviews say (our guests really do keep talking about it!). Heather was very helpful, especially as the wedding date got closer. Agnes (the day-of coord), was like Mary Poppins and made sure everything was going smoothly and that I was happy. Booking rooms at the Inn for guests could've been a smoother process - we had our guests call to book directly, which had some hiccups, so just be very mindful of that and be on top of it. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, the staff is amazing, and we were treated with such wonderful hospitality/flexibility on our wedding day. Thank you HDV team!!

mily is located. We found Hotel Du Village and were wowed on our first tour of the venue. It has a blend of charming historic features mixed with modern amenities. The gardens were lush and served as the perfect romantic backdrop for our outdoor ceremony and photographs.
Our wedding was in mid-May 2024. We opted to rent out the whole venue on a Friday night because it allowed us to utilize the entire event space. We held our ceremony outside on the lawn next to the manicured gardens. This flowed seamlessly into cocktail hour inside their black-and-white-tiled cocktail space. Dinner was held in the beautiful Colt Ballroom, which required minimal additional decor due to the parquet floor, gorgeous wood paneling, and glimmering Art Deco chandeliers. Finally, our reception was held in the Historic Ballroom, which provided ample room for dancing! Our guests also enjoyed the outdoor patio lit by cozy fire pits. There were plenty of easily accessible bathroom options in the main area for our guests.
Now for the food. One of the reasons we chose this venue was because of their in-house catering team, complete with a CIA-trained Chef de Cuisine. Our guests later told us they had never left a wedding so full before! Our pickiest eaters were satisfied with the diverse range of options for cocktail hour and dinner included in the basic package.
For the wedding planning process, we worked with Mary Ellen. During our initial tour, she came prepared with exactly what we could expect from the venue and provided us with multiple pricing breakdowns for the different dates and guest counts we were considering. Her help made the planning process simple and organized. The venue was also very accommodating to any of our requests to make our day perfect. For example, since we decided to have a Friday wedding and the venue was not booked on Thursday, we had access to all of the spaces the night before, which gave us extra time to set up our decor exactly how we wanted it.
By choosing to rent the whole venue, we committed to filling the hotel the night of our wedding. While expensive, we had no issues filling the rooms with our guests, and it allowed our friends and family to stay in one place throughout our entire event. We also hosted our rehearsal dinner by the pool the night before, which added to the convenience of the hotel. Overall, if you’re looking for a picture-perfect, all-inclusive venue that allows you to customize what matters to you, this is the place.

had the whole property to ourselves. Not sure if people's experiences vary depending on what package they book. First off, I was hesitant when I read the reviews about the high staff turnover and people being told they had a "day of coordinator" who wasn't quite what they were expecting. I had Heather from start to finish and she was excellent. She answered emails quickly and was always professional. She also knew to pick up the pace as the date grew closer. Heather ran through a minute by minute schedule with me in the lead up to the wedding. Between the venue and my florist, they set up everything for my ceremony and reception.
Because of the reviews I had hired my own day-of coordinator who ended up being awful and honestly totally unnecessary with the level of service HDV provided. Overall, the staff was amazing - my bridal attendant waited on me hand and foot. It was SO hot outside during photos and she was always ready with ice water for me and a cup of water for my bouquet (so that it wouldn't wilt from the heat!). Throughout the night, the staff made sure to check with us that we had enough food and drinks since we were too busy talking to guests to get it ourselves.
My husband and I are really into food and this was extremely important to us when picking a venue. HDV surpassed our expectations. Our guests were raving about it. I think they said their produce is from local farms & their beef is grass fed (we had a very specific guest). They even made some tweaks to the menu for us. They were able to special order hard seltzers for us which aren't a part of the normal bar package. Our only note was that the late night food was definitely just from frozen food so if you're on the fence about it I'd cut this out.
The getting ready spaces are gorgeous and huge. My makeup artist said it is one of her favorites and she has been to a ton of venues. Our only critique was the AC! It was SO hot in the getting ready rooms, dining room, and reception/dancing area. I mean, we got married during a heat wave in July so it's to be expected. The AC did go down in my husbands getting ready area.
For the guys, the yard where the outdoor ceremony is, is perfect for some day of wiffleball, tossing the pigskin around or playing catch with a baseball.
I've always wanted a venue where there was a hotel on site so I can have an intimate experience with my closest friends and family. HDV having a pool was a bonus so if you get married there during the summer, definitely take advantage of it. We had a late night pool party with our guests and it was such a unique after party experience, we had so much fun!! Cannot recommend this venue enough.

ow our guests felt. The venue gives such a romantic vibe, and our vision was able to be executed perfectly from our outdoor ceremony at dusk, to dinner and dancing in both ballrooms. The staff at Hotel du Village was incredible, especially on the day of the wedding. We did not have to worry about a thing. My bridal attendant went so above and beyond for us, making sure we had water and food throughout the whole day, that we liked our signature drinks and that we had enough to eat during cocktail hour. The staff and bartenders were also amazing - so friendly and attentive with all of our guests the whole night. Our guests are still talking about how amazing all of the food was. We had our guests stay on site at the hotel as well as the guest house on site and I would highly recommend both. It was so much fun to have our closest friends and family on site leading up to the wedding and the morning after. Overall my husband and I would not change a thing about our wedding day and cannot recommend Hotel du Village enough!

g itself. We were promised so many things, that we took to be true, which ultimately turned out to be lies or fully incorrect. This resulted in guests having to find alternative places to stay just weeks before the wedding itself, and tons of confusion. Additionally, the staff turn over at HDV was wild, we must have worked with 7-8 different people during our booking process to the completion of our wedding, and none of our information was ever shared between the new staff members, It was like starting from scratch 7 times. Lastly we felt that the staff at HDV was more focused on nickle and diming us than actually providing a great service. For example, we paid for more plates and seats than guests were going to show up and we asked for a few extra bottles of champagne for the bride and groom suites on the wedding day, and they would send us invoices for the extra bottles of champagne, when in fact we had overpaid for the venue which was NOT CHEAP to start. The staff also would send us emails advising us not to drink champagne before we got married... like who are they to advise the bride and groom of what to do before they got married... To recap... if you are looking for a beautiful location this is the spot to get married, but I would ensure everything is crystal clear and all in writing before proceeding with this vendor and I believe we were treated extremely poorly during the entire process.

nted to book and wanted to sell the place to us with all the extra you could have it felt like I was being sold some type of product vs all of the other super personal and nice tours I have had else where, that didn’t feel like a sales pitch. On top of that you no longer can have you ceremony in the field area by the brick wall if there is a second party going on. You would have to have PERMISSION from the other bridal party. It seemed that a lot of things you would end up having to coordinating with the other party and get permission. It also felt like everything would be a competition with the other party, if you wanted to utilize the hotel as well it would be a who can put money down first and the. have a shared breakfast with the other party too the next day. The “rules” seemed very flexible when there are two wedding parties going on and it seem like issues could occur

about it as well as the aesthetic of the venue. However, I wanted to share some of the issues that might be sad about my experience being a HDV bride. I had a bridal attendant and a coordinator but also my own coordinator, which I felt the need to hire after the venue assigned me 4 different ones leading up to my wedding day. After the ceremony I did not see the coordinator a single time. I barely saw the one i hired but in the lead up to the wedding, HDV went through multiple people and I didnt feel like i could trust the person I was in communication with to be there for what i needed. They came off as condescending but they were able to accomplish what needed to be prepped so I guess that's fine. The venue itself was great at the execution of the main things and setting up. And the maitre d was so attentive. But they didnt take care of a bee hive on the outdoor area that I pointed out during the rehearsal and one of my bmaids was stung on wedding day. They didnt tell me which suite we were in (probably thought coodinator #2 or #3 did it...) and so we had to move suites halfway through getting ready. They didnt tell us where our cake would be so we went 24 hours thinking they threw it out after. I've heard vendors like working with them but it was not a great experience from a bride's perspective. My guests were good though, and adored the venue aesthetic and food, lilke raved about the food, so that was most important to me but would have been nice to have had more attention to my needs as a bride. That said the bridal attendant Agnes I had was amazing, but coordination wise I felt a little confused as to where that person was or what they were doing and overall I felt like I couldn't trust the HDV staff to make sure eveything would be taken care of. If you're booked here, get your own coordinator. I can't say I regret booking here because it's what we wanted at the time but I'm very saddened we weren't treated with better care. I hope HDV can treat their coordinators better so that translates to the brides they're supposed to serve.

I did not have to worry about how things were set up in the room or anything because I knew Heather and her team would have it covered. I need to specially shout our Agnes, the PM bridal attendant. She was there for me the second I needed a drink, help with my dress, and even held my bouquet when I was done with it. She was amazing and so kind. You should have no reservations when considering HDV as your venue. They made my dreams come true.

Her calm and loving demeanor was so welcoming and appreciated. Clovis and Agnes were a delight and provided the extra care needed to ensure that every part of the day went without a hitch, and they took extra measures to meet all of our needs. So many of our guests expressed how much they loved being at the event and took notice of how wonderfully attentive and kind Mary Ellen, Clovis and Agnes were towards them. The food was excellent, and the venue looked beautiful, both inside and out. We couldn't be more delighted to have our daughter's wedding celebration at the Hotel du Village!

Every single person at Hotel Du Village was so wonderful to work with - Heather Pohorely was responsive and so helpful as our lead event stylist, she really helped us to pull together a magnificent event. Agnes was my bridal attendant and was amazing. And Eileen was so helpful with my million room block and guest questions!
We also had the entire hotel room block to ourselves the night of the wedding- the hotel itself is so cozy and definitely has an upscale 'boutique' aesthetic. Our bridal suite was immaculately clean and well kept, and had a lovely view out the window. The breakfast the next morning in the lobby was delicious - we're still hearing about it! This place is very much about the details and really delivered.
If you're looking for a wedding venue with charm and that feels different than the usual venues, this is your place!

on throughout the entire wedding process was extremely disappointing. The hotel manager tried canceling our hotel rooms 30 days prior to our wedding because we did not have enough rooms booked. Additionally we went through four events stylist in 12 months and we did not receive the support we were guaranteed and promised when we signed a contract. Our event stylist Idalis quit 2 weeks prior to our wedding and we were told we would have Mary Ellen as our new event stylist. One week prior to our wedding we had to resubmit all of our day of details for the new event stylist taking over. The day of our wedding we didn’t have any event stylist and no one on site had all the information we provided. I had a lovely bridal attendant Agnus, who was incredible and tried stepping in and helping outside of her normal responsibilities. Eventually we found out that Mary Ellen who was supposed to help us the day of, was indeed on site but instead of working as our event stylist the day of and helping us, she gave tours to new couples viewing the venue. Not having an event stylist led towards chaos on the day of our wedding and multiple errors on their part. It was sad to see Maryellen chose to try to sign another new couple the day of our wedding rather than help us on our big day. This definitely made us feel unimportant and made us feel like we were just another bride/groom in a wedding factory. For Hotel Du Village to be a five out of five star wedding venue this place needs to improve their staff and communication across the board. Given the venue and garden is so beautiful, I would still recommend hotel du Village to other couples, however I strongly advise that you bring your own day of coordinator so your day runs smoothly and you know you have the proper support.

s, especially with all of the stress! The food is INCREDIBLE and the bakery who makes the cakes, Palermo's, had a great team and incredible cake... I didn't want to share it 😂. The days leading up to the wedding we met and chatted about setup and getting our items at our convenience. There were a few hiccups on the day of the wedding, as expected, but the team accommodated us and our guests. It was raining right before our ceremony and it stopped just in time, so the team was our wiping off the chairs as quickly as possible so we could have that beautiful ceremony we hoped for. The bridal suite, outdoor patio, and indoor space are all gorgeous. If you're looking for a fairytale experience and to work with people who truly care about making your day unforgettable, then have your wedding here.

Our original date was moved due to COVID, and while we were sad about this global pandemic impacting our original date the Landmark team did everything in their power to move our date seamlessly and remove the stress of moving a wedding from us. Two days before our wedding day a hurricane flooded the region, Jimmy called me that morning to ensure I knew our wedding was indeed going to happen and that he and his team were working to ensure nothing would be impacted by this storm. Jimmy and the Hotel Du Village team worked in overdrive to ensure when we arrived to the property it was the most beautiful I have ever seen it. It certainly didn't look like a hurricane had moved through the night before. The wedding day was picture perfect, every detail expertly managed by the Hotel Du Village team. Eileen, who manages the hotel stay, was always on top of everything and everyone's favorite person to talk to. The day-of coordinators were so kind and always checking in to see if anything was needed, I felt like a princess. We are still getting texts and calls daily from people raving about the food. This is not a place for ordinary wedding food, this is a place for fine dining. Everyone LOVED the food, from arrival to post party. My only regret was not eating more of the hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, because they were so incredible. The hotel was magnificent and having everyone by the fire pits, making smores, over the 2 nights we spent on site is a memory that I will always cherish. Even my vendors (photographer, make up artists etc) all raved about this venue. It was truly magnificent. Lastly, I could write a novel about how fantastic Jimmy is. He ensured that our day was beyond perfect and worked with us over 2 years (thanks COVID) and was always a call or a text away. I am so happy that we chose Hotel Du Village for our wedding venue, it was the best wedding ever and that is all thanks to this incredible team and beautiful property.

of a destination wedding so being able to stay on the grounds with our closest family and friends from our rehearsal dinner on Thursday through the day after breakfast on Saturday was perfect. We rented out all the rooms in the hotel (there was not another wedding that day) as well as the owners house. The owners house is AWESOME and we invited people back there for an "after party" instead of having to head somewhere else.
The food at HDV is great. So many awesome appetizers to choose from with some great additional stations and then the entrees are so hard to chose between! (which is a great problem to have).
-1 semi-negative: They offer a cake with their package. The cake is outsourced to a bakery in North Jersey. It was delicious and beautiful but YOU have to remember to contact the bakery. They never told us this during the process, I only read it in a review so I want to remember to spread the word. A little bit of poor planning on HDV's part here.
The grooms suite and the bridal suite are both very nice! We had the benefit of having the cigar room and the big bridal suite due to being the only wedding. We loved it!
A few minor negatives:
-They ran out of the beer that I specifically asked for about 1 hour into the wedding. I had asked for it due to it being my father's drink of choice as well as the majority of his family's. I felt like that was a bit of a let down
-This may have been somewhat due to covid, but the booking process of the hotel was a mess. Some of my friends had booked king rooms but were given queen rooms. We had a guest request rooms when none were available, so they suggested we rent the house - which we had already booked! So that was frustrating.
Overall would not have wanted my wedding anywhere else. Beautiful location, beautiful venue, wonderful food. Was an amazing time!

My daughter was married last weekend at Hotel du Village. They booked in January 2020 for a June 2021 wedding and by some miracle did not have to deal with delays and cancellations...
due to covid, like so many. We did have to scale back the guest list based on restrictions in place when invitations went out, but at the end of the day had approx 180 guests as things opened up. There were 3 families involved in planning and paying for this wedding and I have to say we're all in agreement with how amazing it turned out. The venue is just beautiful. We worked with Jimmy the entire time and he was most helpful in giving us advice, being forthright about what HDV could and couldn't do, and executing the bride & groom's vision for their wedding. The service, the food, the atmosphere - it was all so well done, and we had soooo many of our guests come up to us during the wedding and after to tell us how amazing it was. We (the families and the bride & groom) are so grateful to have had such a wonderful, memorable day.

My husband and I got married at Hotel Du Village two weeks ago after our wedding was postponed twice. We originally booked in 2018 and the staff since we initially book has changed...
a lot. But Jimmy, Allison, and Eileen were wonderful to work with! They accommodated all of our changes and made our day everything we have dreamed of and more! Our guests are STILL talking about the food! I cannot speak highly enough of Hotel Du Village. We had some issues with our rooms and Jimmy and Allison made sure the problem was alleviated/guests were reimbursed. Hotel Du Village will forever hold a special place for us! Thank you so much for making our day perfect- we still cannot stop smiling when we think about our weekend at Hotel Du Village!

scenes items we brought were never set up and I had to do some myself an hour before the wedding that were suppose to be set up by the venue. This neglect on their end was probably due to the fact that our wedding coordinator was giving a tour of the venue to prospective clients.
We had over $3K in gifts stolen and have yet to receive a response back from the venue on how they will compensate us. They placed our gifts in a location that we assumed would be safe, it was their responsibility to ensure so. We had several members try to collect our gifts and card box on our behalf, (the mother of the bride, the sister of the bride, and a close friend), all were explicitly turned done. Saying that a "plan" was discussed beforehand to deliver the gifts to the bride and groom. No plan was ever discussed. When the card box was dropped off to our hotel room after the send-off the lid was broken, but we thought nothing of it. Once we discovered several missing items the next day, we had to contact every guest and ask them if they gave us a gift. This was highly uncomfortable, not to mention inconvenient before catching our flight for our honeymoon. They have now had adequate time to resolve, they will be hearing from our lawyers about this shortly and now we will add on additional damages for emotional distress for all this distress we had to go through contacting guests and the police (since the venue didn't take ownership for it) on our honeymoon. This is all we were thinking about the entire honeymoon.
Day of the event (in August), there was no A/C working in the bridal suite (read this in other reviews and also notified them the day before and nothing was done) and my wife and her bridal party were dripping in sweat all day doing in the suite trying to do make up (horrible experience for them).
In other reviews, guests said the hot water didn't work in the hotel and that was the same with us for some guests and in the house we rented for the weekend.
Overall, up front it looks great, but not worth the money. It appears from previous reviews nothing was done on the maintenance of the facility from issues people experienced from years ago. We were however the first wedding since March 2020, so taking that and COVID into consideration, they did work with us, but we're trying to make us pay for an outdoor tent and dance floor on top of the venue we couldn't use was unacceptable. Instead of putting the tent on the nice lawn, we had it on asphalt and had to insist on a dance floor. We ordered a rug to approve the aesthetics under the sweetheart table, we brought it the day of and it simply vanished. This is the one day that details should not have to be worried about, but the venue did a poor job in follow through in this department. Promises and expectations were simply not met.
Note- it's been almost 6 months and we messaged the regional director, President and info email with no resolution.

wedding reception ultimately did not take place due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the staff at Hotel Du Village were true professionals, proposing solutions and working with us through TWO rescheduled dates, even allowing us to use their grounds free of charge to capture wedding photos we will cherish forever. We never could have predicted this situation, but the kindness and professionalism from the staff at Hotel Du Village is something we will never forget.

ew Hope Pennsylvania. The reception was originally scheduled to take place at the Ryland Inn in Whitehouse, NJ. However, due to the Covid restrictions within the state of New Jersey, we inquired with Landmark Hospitality in order to determine our options as to other viable locations for the wedding reception. Fortunately it was determined that the Hotel du Village was an ideal option and an absolutely seamless transition was made to hold the reception there. The management at Landmark Hospitality could not have been more accommodating and they assured us that although we were in a very uncertain and constantly changing environment, they would do everything possible to put forward a world class celebration. Jimmy Thornton was our personal contact at Hotel du Village and his professional approach and calming demeanor fully placated what was a truly unique and trying environment. He is an outstanding individual who was deeply responsible for making certain that all aspects of the wedding and reception went forward in a very successful manner. In short, Landmark Hospitality and the Hotel du Village must be applauded for putting forward an outstanding event and allowing my daughter to fully enjoy what was truly a dream wedding regardless of the unique and challenging environment of this time. Both the food and the event space were outstanding!

As a COVID bride I had to change my date many, many times. Hotel Du Village accommodated that and comforted me throughout the process. They were supportive when guests canceled and worked with me to make my day PERFECT! The staff truly becomes a family to the bride tribe. We were all calm and excited on the day of because the staff thought of EVERYTHING for us. It was honestly the best day of my life and it went seamlessly (in COVID times!) I 100% would tell any bride to check out this picture perfect venue.
