Meet Rebecca Scott, Dual Director of Sales for Hotel Lela, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, and Tru by Hilton Wilmington. With over 13 years of experience in hotel sales and events, Rebecca brings both industry expertise and a genuine passion for creating unforgettable wedding experiences. Weddings have always held a special place in Rebecca’s heart. While earning her Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from East Carolina University, with a concentration in Conventions & Events, she completed an internship at a wedding venue that hosted three weddings every weekend! It was there that she truly fell in love with the energy, emotion, and excitement that comes with bringing wedding visions to life. Ever since, she has enjoyed being part of couples’ most meaningful celebrations. Known for her warm personality, attention to detail, and calm, solutions-focused approach, Rebecca loves helping couples feel supported throughout the planning process. Whether it’s coordinating welcome bags, creating room blocks for out-of-town guests, planning wedding weekend events, or simply making sure every detail feels seamless, she takes pride in making the experience stress-free and memorable. When she’s not working with couples and groups, Rebecca enjoys exploring Wilmington’s local coffee shops and restaurants, crafting, true crime podcasts, and spending time with her husband Steven and their son, Landon. For Rebecca, weddings are more than events. They are once-in-a-lifetime moments, and she feels incredibly lucky to play a small part in helping couples celebrate them.

Born and raised in Wilmington, Avery brings an incredible knowledge of the area along with a genuine passion for helping couples create unforgettable wedding weekends. From welcome parties and room blocks to guest accommodations and special touches throughout the celebration, Avery loves being part of the excitement that comes with wedding planning. She’s known for her upbeat personality, creativity, and ability to make couples and their guests feel instantly welcomed and cared for. Whether you’re planning an intimate gathering or a full wedding weekend, Avery is dedicated to making the experience feel seamless, fun, and stress-free. As a Wilmington local, Avery also loves helping couples and their guests experience the very best of the coastal area, from favorite restaurants and hidden gems to must-see spots around town. Outside of work, Avery is all about creativity and good vibes. She loves crafting with her Cricut, cycling around Wilmington, running half marathons, and fully embracing the holiday spirit year-round. Her playlists range from Jelly Roll and Noah Kahan to the Spice Girls, and she’s always ready with a random song lyric or a Friends reference to keep everyone smiling. When she’s not at the hotel helping create memorable events, you can probably find Avery enjoying a glass of wine at Fermental or grabbing a grilled cheese next door at CheeseSmith. For Avery, hospitality is all about connection, and she loves getting to be part of such meaningful moments in couples’ lives.
