A cozy, lux-like escape that we truly enjoyed. Rosie at the front desk is awesome! She made us feel very welcomed upon arrival. The views are stunning and the location is great - you can easily walk the Big Bear Village for dinner or shopping. ...
The pool, hot tube, barrel sauna and fire places make it an excellent place to retreat after a busy day of outdoor activities. Def would stay again if back in Big Bear.

Our stay at Hotel Marina Riviera was nothing short of unforgettable! We celebrated our 10-year wedding anniversary here, and it couldn't have been a more perfect place for such a special milestone.
This was actually our second time staying in ...
one of their suites, we stayed here last year as well, and after another incredible experience, we've decided this will be our hotel every time we visit Amalfi.
The suite was absolutely stunning and incredibly spacious, with two full bathrooms, a huge bedroom and living area, and one of the most breathtaking views we've ever experienced. Waking up each morning and looking out over the sparkling Amalfi Coast from our balcony was simply magical!!!
The staff made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Everyone was genuinely friendly, attentive, and always happy to help with recommendations or anything we needed, making our anniversary trip feel even more special.
One of the biggest advantages of Hotel Marina Riviera is its location. It's just a short, easy walk to everything in Amalfi restaurants, shops, yet the hotel itself feels peaceful and relaxing, providing the perfect escape after a day of exploring. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Perched where the rugged timber meets the glassy expanse of the lake, Hotel Marina Riviera is a masterclass in atmospheric alchemy. It feels as though a chic, mid-century modern salon collided beautifully with a high-toned, rustic American West...
outpost. The architecture honors the soaring terrain of Big Bear, using clean, geometric lines that trace the slope of the mountains, while the interior hums with a quiet, bespoke luxury. Smooth, high-end finishes—polished walnut and rich leathers—marry flawlessly with the coarse honesty of native stone.
The crown jewel of this alpine sanctuary is its sublime wellness experience, an immaculate haven for the body and spirit. Here, the contrast therapy is poetic magic. You can purge the high-altitude chill in the deep, enveloping heat of the saunas, or melt into the bubbling, starry embrace of the outdoor hot tub. For the ultimate awakening, the shock of the pristine cold plunge cuts through fatigue like mountain air, shocking the senses into absolute, vibrant life.
Steps away, the sparkling pool acts as a gateway to the elements. For those who hear the siren call of open water, the seamless transition from resort luxury to an open swim across the vast, pristine lake is utterly liberating.
Through it all, the views are a visual symphony—the lake stretching out like hammered silver, cradled by a dark fortress of pines. The staff embodies the very spirit of the altitude: completely chill, attentive, and entirely devoid of pretension. From the crackle of the lakeside fire pits to the curated aesthetics, the vibes are flawless, offering an elevated, restorative sanctuary in the sky.

We stayed at the Hotel Marina Riviera for four nights in July and had a wonderful experience from start to finish.
The rooms were comfortable, quiet, and cozy — exactly what you want after a full day exploring the mountains. The highlight for ...
us was the balcony, where we could sit and take in stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains at any time of day.
The hotel's amenities really added to the experience. Having the De La Nonna restaurant on-site was a treat — we loved being able to sit out on the deck for a meal or a drink without having to go anywhere. And in the evenings, relaxing by the fire pits with a cocktail in hand became a favorite ritual.
The staff deserve a special mention — every single person we encountered was friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. They made us feel right at home.
As for location, it's hard to beat. Sitting right on the shore of Big Bear Lake is special enough, but the hotel is also just a short walk from Big Bear Lake Village, making it easy to explore shops, restaurants, and attractions without ever needing to get in the car.
Highly recommend!
