We chose to have our wedding at Hotel Peter & Paul because it is obviously beautiful and we were very excited about the pairing with Bacchanal Catering - but the actual experience far exceeded our imagination! Everything was beyond perfect, the service and attention to detail were oustanding, and the food, drinks, etc. were the best I've ever had at a wedding. Congratulations to any other couple that chooses HPP for their big day!!

I loved having my wedding here! Without many decorations, the space was beautiful. The lighting in the church was incredible as well.

As soon as we discovered Hotel Peter and Paul, we started comparing all other venues to it. It is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING and is filled with character. It is a short few minute walk from Frenchman Street and many of our guests chose to stay at Hotel Peter and Paul during their time in New Orleans. McKensie and team at Hotel Peter and Paul were great to work with (answering all of my MANY questions)! We were able to get a complimentary 10 room block and it was so fun running into our guests throughout the hotel/on Frenchman Street. Selecting Peter and Paul as our venue really set the entire tone for the rest of our wedding. My now husband and I booked the School House Grand Loft and the Mother Superior rooms as our get ready rooms and both were stunning. Please note that each hotel room is unique (with some larger than others and the color theme dependent on which floor the room is on). I would recommend confirming with McKensie before arriving which rooms you have booked for your get ready rooms to make sure you get one that is set up best for getting ready. Both of our room were absolutely beautiful and comfortable!

This venue surpassed all expectations! If you want wow-factor, this is it. We hardly dressed the space because it just speaks for itself! The piazza with string lights for our cocktail hour was the perfect setting while the ceremony space was transformed to the reception. The team, from McKensie at P&P to Lindsey with Bacchanal catering, was incredibly meticulous and so easy to work with. My guests LOVED staying at the hotel and it was so nice to take transportation issues out of the day of planning - we were all right there! You will not be disappointed and I’m still reliving the experience through the beautiful photos we have in this space.

This is one of the most beautiful spaces in New Orleans - I said to myself that I could get married here a full year before I met my husband. The option to have a micro-wedding made it affordable for us. Booking and communication with the venue staff was super easy and we had a wonderful ceremony! I can't wait to see how the pictures come out!

Hotel Peter and Paul is a dream venue and McKensie is a pleasure to work with. Throughout the entire process she was accessible, responsive, and helpful. Always answering our questions thoroughly and being patient while we figured out how we wanted our ceremony to look and feel.

Hotel Peter and Paul is a gem! The historic space provides a rustic and royal look that will add class to your wedding decor. You won’t need to spend a fortune on decorating the place because the church is simply beautiful by itself.

The Hotel Peter and Paul Family welcomed us and made sure we were taken care of by the absolute best during my wedding weekend. The church for the ceremony was breathtaking. And having our guests all stay at the hotel made it so special to have everyone close and on the grounds for the big day. McKensie with the wedding planning, managing rooms, and coordinating accommodations was thorough and professional. Shoutout to the front desk: Jamal had the best attitude and was very hospitable during our stay. Zach was the most helpful bellman upon arrival. The entire team provided excellent service. The Rector's Repose and Mother Superior were such lovely, quiet and calming rooms to book.

All our wedding dreams came true thanks to Hotel Peter and Paul. There is no venue more gorgeous in New Orleans. Every single detail of the venue and hotel were perfection. Walking down the aisle with the sun streaming through the beautiful stained glass windows was an unforgettable moment. McKensie and Lindsey were so wonderful and easy to work with! They were quick to communicate and made our dream come true with love and care. The best experience and venue we could’ve asked for!

Hotel Peter and Paul is a gorgeously restored site that is managed by a team of professional s who make you feel like your wedding is their own special event! Creative food provided by chef of Bacchanal (a favorite New Orleans restaurant). Guests at our daughter’s wedding said it was the most unique and spectacular wedding ever. The site was renovated with love and fabulous taste, both the de-commissioned church as well as the hotel .

I was hugely disappointed by my experience at Hotel Peter and Paul. This is a beautiful venue and more beautiful in person. When viewing the venue we had a horrible experience with Natalie. She was very uninterested in showing us the site and made us feel we were a bother. She listed off a bunch of rules and didn’t provide much information other than that. It was clear to us that the unprofessionalism we saw would effect our wedding day. We were 100% set on this venue until that experience, she unfortunately talked us out of having our wedding here. I’d like to mention the other staff we encountered were very kind.

Hotel Peter & Paul is one of the most special places that I have ever been to, and I could not recommend it more highly for a wedding, a special event, or hotel stay. The space itself is thoughtfully designed and historic. The buildings are original, each piece of furniture carefully chosen, each space is well-curated. The hotel is both beautiful and comfortable, it strikes an amazing balance of being both peaceful and luxurious. We didn't feel the need to add any additional florals or decor for our event, the space itself was enough. My husband and I first booked this hotel for our wedding reception sight unseen (we were wedding planning from NYC), and then we worked with the HPP team to re-book our wedding due to the pandemic. The HPP team is so easy to work with, flexible, creative, supportive, and personable. We planned a wedding together during the most uncertain of times and the team came to us with solutions on how to make things work given the complex and changing restrictions at the time. They were good to us while maintaining their own professional and safety standards. They were extremely detailed and attentive to ours/our guests' needs. It was not an easy time to be planning a wedding, but it was a joy to work with them throughout. Needless to say we were able to have the perfect wedding, during a pandemic, and felt we didn't have to sacrifice a thing because HPP was there for us. Thank you so much HPP for existing!

We first fell in love with this venue when it was an abandoned church, rectory, and school, many years before we left New Orleans for CA, and long before its new life as Hotel Peter and Paul. When we returned to Louisiana in May of 2018 for wedding planning and the site visit, we had no idea how stunning the renovated cathedral would be. The wall’s beautiful patina had been maintained, original stained-glass windows carefully preserved, and subtle updates added convenient amenities to the historical space. We knew it would not need decorating to make our wedding unique. New Orleans is an amazing city on its own, rich in music, food culture, and an overwhelming sense of raw authenticity. Add to that the Marigny neighborhood, then its beacon – HPP’s bell tower, its open piazza, and connecting hotel. It did not take much convincing for 75 guests to travel from within the US and overseas for our destination wedding. HPP’s room block offered a wide range of styles and rates, so much that our guests raved about the rooms’ unique designs – “not the typical hotel,” “more like a French chateau.” Being the first wedding at the venue, we were nervous about their staff and overall service experience, but WOW! From check-in to event staff to security coordination, the ease with which they worked attentively and professionally without seeming stressed made everything flow seamlessly, and everyone relaxed throughout the weekend. The Rectory’s Repose and Rectory Classic were the perfect rooms to get dressed in - close to each other but separate, close to our guests and the ceremony venue while having our own space. We chose the cathedral steps with the grand doors and red brick façade as the backdrop for our ceremony, with sixty chairs on the sidewalk for guests and standing room in the street parking spaces beyond. The decision seemed strange to some, but the gritty, pretty sights and sounds of the neighborhood contrasting the moment’s tranquil beauty was heavenly. Besides, everything happens on the streets in New Orleans. We are still very appreciative of Nathalie’s flexibility to make that happen. Elysian Bar, the onsite caterer, hosted our cocktail hour in the piazza before guests entered the cathedral for dinner and dancing. The ambiance inside as the sun set was exquisite. Besides up lights to highlight the alcove in the previous alters space, the 20+ft. ceilings provided ample room for our only décor - 6ft. battery-powered, pre-lit, silver tinsel Christmas tree centerpieces on each table. The combination of the building’s lowered ambient light, the glow at each table, and exterior light beaming through the stained-glass windows illuminated the room perfectly and felt magical. We would do it all again in a heartbeat.

As a local NOLA wedding planner, I had the honor of planning a wedding at Hotel Peter & Paul for a couple in October of 2019. The venue was new as an event space and already the staff was very organized and professional. They were extremely responsive and easy to work with. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. Hotel Peter & Paul is an absolute GEM!!! The moment I saw the venue I knew that is would be the perfect place to get married, and I was not wrong! The atmosphere feels so romantic and it really made our wedding such a special experience for all of our guests. The space is so gorgeous that we really did not need to worry about decorating since Peter & Paul is charming and stylish on its own. The on location hotel was a major plus for our out of town guests. It looks just like the photos on their website, but even better to experience in person. Nathalie is the absolute best and was very patient and helpful navigating the planning process with us. Our venue selection was hands down my favorite part of our wedding celebration. 10/10 would do it again.
